Don't feel sad everything will turn out to be good. The same thing is happening everywhere in the workplace nowadays as it is comman and it we stand against it they say that we are immature and can't understand it. Even same thing happened to me did extra hours of work but still said it is not enough and did others work as well and they complained that i didn't complete everything on time. I was holding back but this time i have said straight to them that this cannot continue. We have to stand-up for ourselves and take care of ourselves. Wishing you a great and good year ahead

So sad. This woman is suffering from a type of Stockholm Syndrome. She's under the illusion that those white Christian nationalists think of her as a real American. There seems to be so many people who immigrated legally and illegally to the United States who have accepted the denigration and internalized it to a point of self-loathing. They have split from the reality of their roots and feel superior to other immigrants and entitled. So sad that chronic xenophobia has destroyed their empathy. They're in for a very rude awakening when they find out that a large percentage of white America hates them as much as they hate current immigrants.

HOW CAN SHE FEEL THAT WAY SO SAD!

I'm also an immigrant, been in Canada for 16 years, came here initially for uni. It's funny that I have no negative feelings towards immigrants from any other countries but India. And I didn't have any negative feeling toward them before I came to Canada, if anything, I only remember something positive my grandma telling me about Indian people being beautiful, that they have big beautiful eyes. After I came to Canada, over the years, based on countless personal experiences dealing with them, sadly my conclusion is 99% of them are bad, 1% are the exception. They are aggressive, rude, stinky, unhygienic, dishonest, always trying to take financial advantage of people or situations to save a few more bucks by being super annoying or cheating, extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards women!! Really nothing is appealing about them. And at a job position, 1 Indian will bring 10 Indians, 10 will bring 100, they are slowly encroaching the environment and taking over everything. Other races try to assimilate into the local culture, while the Indians are imposing theirs onto the local and other cultures. Canada feels like it's turning into a second India. It's lost its politeness, manner, rules etc. I no longer want to live here, I plan to move back to my country after a few years. And I don't really go to Tim Hortons anymore cuz the Indians are taking over all the franchises and lowered the standards of Hygiene and friendliness. I don't think I'm being racist, cuz I'm not having all these negative feelings based on their skin colour or origin. It's purely based on real life experiences in dealing with them.

Part of me feels bad because I feel like she's so brainwashed, but the other part of me has no mercy. Because you can't be that ignorant at that age. Shame on you. But what she don't realize is. The she would be going with her family. Your daddy Trump doesn't care if you came here legally. His white supremest people he put in charge. Do not care anything about you. Their economies have collapsed and the people can't find work or means to support their families. It does drive up cost here and put huge strain on our country. I left Montreal and never looked back. Sure, I miss my friends, but I think I’d reached a breaking point, both mentally and physically. I enjoy other Canadian cities, but something about Montreal left me feeling constantly sad and burned out. I’m not saying it was the city itself, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t right for me. TBH she looked sad and lonely, this was cute ( i felt) , could have easily won by being sweet to her and giving her a big hug. Invite her for walks and talks and dinners and she would change her perspective . Old people are really helpless and docile . I feel sympathy for them. All they just need is a good company.

As an indian living in Dubai. If I feel a place was overcrowded- I would leave, but for some indians its not the same and its quite sad some politicians thinking a densely populated city full of jobless people is okay. Its kind of the opposite reason why indians move to canada(because most of us dont like overecrowded cities-which tends to happen in india). The amoumt of jobs need to increase. The infrastructure needs to increase. Colleges and schools where people actually pay for all of it is necessary. And homelessness needs to be replace by education and housing policies for older canadians especially. Preserving the respect for the elderly. The list goes on- and yes it will increase the amount of jobs, if they build and educate. Also increase the incentive to be educated.

I too am an immigrant, but I feel like the country is being overtaken by India. There's nothing wrong with immigration if controlled properly, bud sadly this is not the case with the Canadian government, and it is getting out of control. I live in a beach town in Ontario that up until last year was a nice place to live. Now when you go to the beach it is 90% Indians, and they are buying up all the businesses to cater to their own kind and if you aren't Indian, you stand out like a sore thumb!. Sadly, having lived in Brampton since the late 60s, I have seen it happen and I feel that it is becoming another Brampton! I have a relative that lives in Brampton and is very experienced in the medical field, but cannot get a job because they don't speek Hindi. Come on people! If you can't speak english you shouldn't be allowed into the country!

My two University kids feel 'HOPELESS'. This is a small country.....not much of prosperity to go around. With growth projected to be below 1% over the never decade (or more), it is least surprising that youngsters feel pessimistic. It is the sad truth. On top of it....throw the eight months of bad weather and crime rate skyrocketing due to all kinds of scum being let into the Country. It is one shot at human life. Never a bad idea to look far and beyond. The Northern hemisphere is DONE. USA is an exception......but Europe/Canada are places any youngster should have least hesitation to walk away from..

India is one of the fastest economy in the world they will need to be representing as in many countries in the world . I personally think Canadians gets confused thinking they are muslims and they are not. If i have to choose i would certainly prefer them instead of bringin so many muslims from muslims countries around the world because they will never adapt to other cultures. Indian people are so adaptable to other countries more that any country in the world. I don't live in Canadá or any other country. By the way is so sad that Indian people with turbans g confused with muslims and people get worry about them not knowing they following the Sikh religious wich is one of the most adaptable religions in the world similar to cristian religious. I remember taking my two children to their festivities and they make us feel so welcome without any interests of persuading us to folowing their religion. I have sweet memory of indian people in general .

I’m all for immigrants coming over to the US but I’m honestly think we should just close off our borders entirely until tensions come down across the world. I feel like this ultimately could harm people of all ethnic groups in the US. I mean the man was targeting Jewish people in the US who have no involvement with Israel innocent bystanders. I lived in Canada when I was 5 years old. I don't remember much from when I was 5 years old but I remember the feeling of home Canada gave me. I was happiest in Canada and my family felt safe and grateful to be there. I left Canada in only a year though cause we went there to study English, and I was very sad because Canada was the best place ever for me. I've been to several countries but Canada always had me in love. I was planning on going back for college and living there, but when I realized the state Canada is now, I was heartbroken because it looked nothing like the amazing place I had lived in years back. I'm still very sad about this and I pray the Canada I used to know will be back one day so that I can return to the place that was the closest thing I've ever felt like home.

I left earlier this year and escaped to El Salvador to start a new life here in the land of freedom, volcanoes, surfing and bitcoin. I am sad to see the destruction of my country, but feel hopeful about my newly adopted country.

I feel really sorry for the people who are desperate to find basic security and stability in their lives. However, addressing each case individually is not a solution to the broader issue. Most of Germans are really good people and friendly nothing against them but Germany itself is not immigrant friendly racism is pretty much on the rise ,low wages , little or no opportunities, my wife handles international clients and she says German client s are the worst in behavior they sound rude and entitled. If I'm a skilled person and want to move to Germany first and foremost you need to learn most difficult language in world and master it nothings wrong there but why would I when I could just go with English and move to other English speaking countries which offers more opportunities or atleast learn french that would be even more beneficial. Germany was known for it's low cost education system and other benefits it provide for students but sadly enough jobs are not there. If you want to attract international talent first atleast create an atmosphere for them but really sorry to say these but Germany feels hostile towards immigrants. Big MNCs are seeing all these and saying why are we here if we cannot hire international talent and slowly they are walking out of there and moving on to other countries ? and now you got serious issue here and people have only themselves to blame ?. Go taken out anti immigrant marches and go with conservative approach nothing new for Germany in the end German economy always ends up in toilet.

Its easy to want to leave. I myself am Canadian and sadly this is a country with no national cultural identity. They talk about diversity and inclusion but inclusion in to what exactly? You cant feel attached to something that has no distinct identity.

No offense, but I would like to say this is how we people feel in India. Not entire community is bad as you sad but obviously few of them. But what do we hear, ah xyz community people are like this.. the same thing which canadians say to Indians. But back at home in India, even govt. is against us. Time has changed. After Covid19, inflation went too high. Unlimited migrants have led to housing to a catastrophic level. No idea, why this many were allowed on student visa. Already, refugees are from war-torn areas, which has led to pressure on the economy. They need to help. I feel sad for those who will be affected by the new rules.

It's a good move yes totally agreed of what you've said about Canada i'm an immigrant from Cambodia 35 years ago and had settled on Cordova street, Vancouver in 1989 couple blocks away from EAST HASTING. You're right it was not that bad then it was very safe and i used to shop for clothes at Army and Navy and walk around that area a lot. i did not feel unsafe at all of course there was drug addicts a few here and there but not like this magnitude right now, homeless totally invaded China now and it's unrecognizeable as it once was very sad indeed. Sad to say but, probably these Indians have a contingency plan to make Canada as the second India. They're taking advantage of all the possible immigration programs, until they can bring their entire clan here, which is alarming and not anymore acceptable. They exploited the program and the government seems like they are not doing anything about it. We, the locals, are worried about the turnout in the coming years.? I feel bad for the people who were born here, and especially the first Nations.
