Effectively he has now raised OUR COST OF GOODS BY 25%. The same stupid thing he did his last time around!

We understand that the company that outsources labor and buys foreign goods pay the tariffs completely. The idea is to put those businesses out of business for ones that manufacture/purchase in the US. If you out source for personal gain while hurting our economy you shouldn’t be in business. There will be 10 million available jobs in agriculture, construction, hotels, cleaning, painting, plumbing, Uber, slaughter Maybe Rubio can bring more Cubans to fill the gap or bring people from Canada or Europe legally. First Trump's administration is going to be jacked up with little known outliers with controversial and radical ideas. That is what Trump is attracted to. His ideas of tariffs and mass deportations are deplorable. They both disadvantage the US instead making it better. However, the tariffs may as well be a scam to get companies profits as when Trump says 10% on item A, companies are going to raise the cost of item A 12 to 15% or so and blame the cost increase on tariffs. For deportation's, I hope most people realize that many working the fields as low wage labor are very well illegals, but they are hired because they keep food costs low. Raising all prices for the poor Republicans will not be beneficial because prices on goods can increase 15% or more but their employer is certainly not going give them a 15% raise to match the cost of living. So Trump has already made the business environment good for more profits by planning to make life more expensive for everyone so business can absorb the additional profits. Probusiness politicians help businesses make money and that money comes from households and the government. And making the government spend more means the government needs to tax more. But TRump is cutting taxes for the people that have the most money. And Trump raising prices with tariffs justs makes households poorer and business richer. Naturally, the stock market will record highs when all the indicators are that business will be making much greater profits from households when Trump takes office.

So many are crizizing having no idea how to to to a sane plan to reach their objective. People with little education or experience in this field have strong opinions based on their biases. I'd like to not cover non citizens with provincial health or social programs until they are citizens and working. I'd like anyone committing crimes and is a non citizen, jailed and then deported. We don't need new criminals or drains on our social programs. I think most new immigrants are good people, but why should we pay for the others.

This spillover into the U.S was inevitable, after prime minister boy wonder decided it was good idea to open the flood gates to anyone from anywhere by the hordes...mostly from South and East Asia. The social fabric in Canada has deteriorated rapidly ever since. I am a stranger in my own city. Once friendly, cohesive neighborhoods have now turned into ethnic enclaves. Nobody speaks English anymore. Average paying jobs are becoming more scarce, higher paying jobs more competitive. There's a housing shortage and rent has sky rocketed ($2000+ per month for 1-bedroom apt). We're now in the midst of a health care crisis where emergency wait rooms are filled to capacity with 5-8 hour wait times and a shortage of family gp's accepting new patients, and lastly traffic has become so unbearable, where it's bumper to bumper all day now and into the evening. Yep, in 9 years the Trudeau government and the Liberals have single handedly made Canada unliveable

All countries have different different cultures and religions, it makes countries beautiful. Pakistan only one religious mostly one culture that’s why country going down day by day , different people have different ideas for success, Canada take big money if someone come for business or study . Canada's TFW scheme is just nutso, and that's coming from an Australian who is living with many of the same pressures as Canada in 2024. You have roughly 40 million people - about 12 million more than Australia - and some genius decided that importing 3 million people from the subcontinent was a GOOD idea ? Like Australia, the majority of your population is clustered in a small number of cities - new arrivals are going to head straight for the path of least resistance. No shame in that (I lived in a notorious 'ghetto' dominated by foreigners in Thailand) but it was never going to be well received by the locals. Toronto and Vancouver, anyone ? I live in Northern Ontario. I didn't update my passport so all of my disability papers and history are at the hospital. The doctor says it's not a good idea for me to move. So I'm stuck here for life. I do get free medications, free dental plan, free emergency visits, free psychiatrist appointments, free visits to my family doctor and a free disability cheque. So, on the contrary, I got it made here! No use complaining when Canadian Healthcare literally hands things to you without paying. They even deliver my meds!
