I am a Canadian. We do not want conflict with USA. What we want is for our new leader to be voted in - and then work things out for trade. President Trump is aware of what we have suffered. Canada has stood firm.....the truckers in our capital....brought a siege all over the world for freedom. I do not want the tariffs.....that will hurt us both. But I did not like Trudeau's speech.....it was rude. It does not represent us as a country.

Trudeau hate The Russians but why retaliate at the American people. If President Trump is dumb like he said why our we in debt? All garbage to threaten the USA. -DEAR AMERICANS ..., this video is a prime example of why the USA needs to stop depending so much on other countries for so much importing and start investing in building and start manufacturing products again in the US like it used to be and keeping our farmlands IS VERY IMPORTANT also. Just like Mexico they said they would secure their borders to help stop the flow if illegal immigrants, drugs, gangs and terrorists into the USA... THEY DID NOT. China did nothing to crack down on fentanyl being smuggled out of their country (although I think they would rather see American people die of overdoses. China has imposed a 25% tariff on the USA, which will have consequences due to Trump's aggressive moves. He thinks governing is like running a business, but the world doesn't work that way. Trump is not helping the USA but will make life more complex, and a few years later, Americans will realize.

Americans will now stop buying Canadian Goods because there is already pressure on groceries, also, products from countries like Australia and Europe will now come flooding into the USA.

And now there’s word that Trump might “meet Canada and Mexico” half way and re evaluate the tarrifs. He’s gonna do this because “he’s a fair guy” and the craziness of it is that it’s a crisis he created. It’s like setting houses on fire and taking credit when you put the fire out. Retaliatory tarrifs against USA are necessary, but a better impact would be achieved with significant but similar retaliatory increase in sanctions against Putin. In that way, Putin will be more likely to tell his boy to stop the attack against Canada.

I have never felt more proud to be a Canadian, it’s a good feeling, I was almost brought to tears earlier thinking about it. And it’s interesting to note that it is overriding the fear of the consequences of Donald’s actions. Here’s where I can’t help but think of you, our fellow North Americans. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. It seems it would leave you gutted, and lost. Can you even describe the feeling, the experience? It has to be one of those things that you can’t know until you experience it. The pride in my country is keeping me going. My heart is crushed thinking that you do not have that. But you need to do everything you can to keep it.
