There are certain attributes that define a U.S. president. A U.S. president places the citizens of this country ahead of his own personal interests. Trump doesn’t do that (hasn’t done that). Trump is self serving. On Jan ’21, Trump became an insurrectionist. Many citizens and police officers were injured and one police officers lost his life. According to the Constitution (the Supreme Court disagrees with me), Trump incited citizens to overthrown the certification of the 2020 election. Insurrection is one of the lowest acts any American can do, let alone a U.S. President. Trump states that the “insurrection” falls under immunity for “official acts”. Since when is “insurrection” an “official presidential duty”? Trump is a known Master Liar. This is beyond a moment when a president estimates, guesses and exaggerate numbers, figures and facts. Trump just lies – over 2k+ lies. Trump cannot be trusted in telling Americans the truth. Every time Trump opens his mouth, a lie flies out! Trump doesn’t appear to be able to help himself. One lie after another. Spreading the lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” and not providing legal evidence is an unforgivable act that Americans should #NEVER forget. MAGA, selected GOP, Christian Nationalists don’t appear to be troubled that Trump cannot tell the truth. To me, the truth strengthens the bond of trust – I have NO Trust for Trump! MAGA, Christian Nationalists and some selected GOP – I may use big words that you don’t comprehend such as: Liar, Convicted Felon, sexual misconduct, Insurrection, Fraud, election interference, Unauthorized Possession of classified documents. These are some, not ALL, of the words that defines Trump and his actions. These things do NOT appear to cause any concerns with the 71.2m people who cast their vote in the Nov 5th ’24 presidential election. Trump had unauthorized possession of classified material. (I am not certain what Classified Material Trump possessed, but if these documents would put my friends, my family and I in harm’s way – it’s a problem.) Again, those who voted for Trump, the 71.2m people, #NEVER thought about this. If they had, Trump would #NEVER have received their vote. America has a short attention span. How quickly have we forgotten that Trump’s inaction of Covid-19 could have prevented many from becoming ill and millions losing their lives. (If one of your loved ones have passed due to Covid-19, you will remember Trump’s inability to deal and handle the situation. It is something you will #NEVER forget.) I will not write a book here, but the listed reasons above is why Trump may be the 47th President of the United States, but he isn’t my president. My president would have #NEVER done these things to an American.

I have heard stories from friends of how inhumane the ICE detention centers are. They treat you like animals, worse than they treat US citizens who are murderers.

It's interesting to see what will happen if I post a neutral comment here. \n\n\nUndoubtedly, Germany is not a paradise on Earth, just like any other place. There are both pros and cons. Sometimes I felt like I was reading comments about a completely different country when people wrote about not being accepted by society and so on, so I decided to respond too.\n\n\nI barely speak German (my second language is English) and I have never felt any racism or disrespect towards me. Whether it was on the street or at work. I more often met friendly people who were interested in learning about my move to Germany and were always admiring and saying words of support. I was born in ?? and at your age Alina I left Vancouver and moved to Europe. I too saw no future and no way of having quality of life there. In the past 20 years I have watched ?? just fall apart and get worse and worse and it breaks my ❤️. One has to choose where life will be best for you and then give it your all. For me, by far, it was the best choice I ever made because the life I have now would never have been achievable, especially in Vancouver. People will tell you and you can tell yourself that you can just move back and visit all the time but in reality, that does not happen and you need to accept all the loss that leaving will bring. You will loose friend family and opportunity, people will pass friends will forget you and you them and Canada will become a memory in time. As a FRENCH individual, here is my perspective; we humans look for what is good for us!!! I am French (I consider myself very lucky as France is a very stable and prosperous economy) but many French also look for better opportunities abroad, namely in Switzerland (higher salary and better work packages but that influx created a xenophobia against French living in Swiss) and the US (tech jobs mainly, which are better paid than in France)!!! We ALL do it!!! Many white South African women also do everything to marry British, Germans, Canadians on purpose (the media never mentions that and we know why) so that they can escape the extreme environment in South Africa!!!! It is just that the media tends to focus on black and brown people as it sells better!!! Ohhh and did you forget those many North Americans who flock to Mexico, and South America to run away from the horrendous cost of living!!!! Same for those many Canadians (a common trend those last years) who start to flock into the US to run away from higher living costs in Canada and for higher paid jobs in the US!!!! Okay may be some lesser developed countries do it but let’s realize that WE Europeans also move and emigrate when things turn “grill our ar**s” where we live!!!! Ohhh and have we forgotten already those Italians who moved to France in 1900s to escape misery and hunger in Italy!!!! Ohhh …. we already forgot!!!! And what about the Ukrainians, many of whom come to Canada now and take jobs and reap benefits from the local? Visiting foreign countries is one thing, but living in a foreign country is a different thing, especially if you're not born and raised there. Every country have the good parts and their issues. Good luck with your decision, and always remember your roots. Having travel to many parts of this world and experiences I'll never forget, never give up your Canadian citizenship. I am against irregular immigration due to the economic consequences. I graduated from UBC with BS, but I still cannot get a job. Submitting more than 200 applications including internships and entry-level jobs that do not even require post-secondary education, I was never invited to an interview. Certain level of competency in Java, Python, R, and MATLAB with 3.4+ gpa never gets you a single internship. Also BC never sent me a BC service card while they never forget to charge me a monthly insurance fee of $75.

So many high rises being built for the main immigrants entering Canada in the hundreds of thousands--with drug money, many without any education and the English language...bring their elderly family members who have never worked a day in Canada to pick up old age pension.
