Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Put yourseld in our position and you know what I mean.\n\nCanadian Goverment is too nice compare to other western country go and take a look at the US, Australia, British, New Zeland and Europe Nation. If u cannot sustain yourself do you think those gov at given country will give a care abt you? You will 100% deported for sure.\n\nPlease dont ruin this country....Canadian Gov is trying hard to be sympathy but there is time to STOP!!! \n\nI am not far right or left...but please use your COMMON SENSE for ONCE!!!! If you have a BRAIN!!!!

Most indians dont like to stay in india. They will never appreciate other countries yet do everything to live abroad.

I personally used to love indians. Especially punjabis. The reason you came to Canadabwas because you saw it as a paradise where you could flourish. Learn the culture. Embrace wherenyou are.\n\n3. Follow the law. Pay your taxes, and find some NON indian friends who can help you assimilate easier.\n\n\n\n\nCanadians are very kind caring people overall. We want to like you, like those immigrants who came before you..... but we dont NEED YOU. So appreciate what youve been handed.\n\nAnd remember. Every human being is suspicious of other cultures. I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. We have enough of our own assholes

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. There was a polling conducted and most Canadians want less immigration from India . Canada is not as big like America . Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Hold out politicians accountable to make our country great ……… if someone wants to still come go right ahead it’s your life . But I don’t see the point t really ???‍♂️. India. And Japan is the most technology advanced country more than America even . America and Canada are just is just over hyped…… and there people are so racist to our people so way would I want to stay in there country ?‍♂️. And people that will say they want to bring there parents to Canada most of t he time it is cold and they will be inside so it’s better for your parents to live in india. Personally. I have my parents they live in GOA with me they can’t be happier.

Some companies dont take north indians and some part of south indians because of their behaviour like australians did they usually take keralites and tamil nadu people

Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example. \n\nPregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect. \n\nThe drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs. \n\nThe protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. Those students were not enrolled in any colleges and came to Canada on fake documents. \n\nI agree that Canada is very difficult for immigrants to come and build at this point. This wasnt the case 10 years back. But this is true to only densely populated cities. Everyone wants to go to Toronto and Vancouver so it has made the situation tough in those cities. But there are other provinces and cities that are still easy to settle down and build your life. \n\nCanadian locals being not immigrant friendly is not whole truth. Some % of locals yes they are fed up of too much immigration but do search for videos or news article of Indian students in Brampton fighting and you will get the answer on why some of the Canadian locals are being wary about immigrants now a days. \n\nIt is hard to settle down in Canada yes. For someone who is having a decent salary in India can live a good life in India instead of choosing to struggle. But someone are made to chose the hard path to success.

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. But ur Canadian govt policies and support towards khalistaani movement make many punjabi people to move to canada. While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

Tue there are many Indians. Many do really really well but what do Indian have to do with whites dying of addiction! Majority of the homeless in Canada are whites. Indians on other hand band together and survive. Thats why live appaling living conditions like 16 people living in same house. Since they are willing to do that some land do exploit them. Most of these landlords are Indian in Brampton and Chinese. However most dont complain because they are willing take pain save some money. Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

Even Canadian born Indians are annoyed theres too many Indian immigrants entering Canada. Most are useless students who apply to B-rated colleges like Algoma or Conestoga (who makes millions off of them), and then dont get good paying jobs afterwards. Because they studied useless programs. These Indian students use college as a loophole to gain fast PR in Canada. Majority of them are scammers. Some become nurses and truckers because thats where the demand is. Then they sponser their entire families from India. This contibutes to over population growth, where the demand is high, and housing supply is low. Families will also pool their money together to buy houses. Problem: The Government Allows it.

It is so interesting how europeans whom have a notorious history for stealing people's lands, killing, raping etc. even till date, will come up on media to complain that some of their VICTIMS are migrating to a land (canada) which is not even originally european in the first place neither are the aborigines europeans. But surely, people immigrated from Punjab or Haryana are real piece of work, they dont wanna follow any kind of rules and regulations here. The group that is not living fine are the people who are on drugs and govt money. Indians dont, they are not on govt system. They work hard and live better of who dont like to work. As an indian in dont really dislike Brampton. Its just the leftist policies that ruined it. A lot of immigration isnt really legal either. The govt aint enforcing immigration law so its more or less allowed. Kinda like how usa has an open border policy with mexico. Legal immigration is next to impossible while illegal immigration is prioritized. There are far too many people getting visitor visas and never leaving thats a slap in the face of the poor working class. Or even legal immigrants that took the time money and had the qualifications to come here and did it legally.

Indians are smart, they live in multi generational homes, kids stay home until 25-30 save to buy properties, keep grandparents with them to save on day care, work hard and have the drive. I live in Nova Scotia and most of our population is practically now Indian population it was never like that say 8 years ago,im fine with anyone from any country living here for sure but it must not be bad for them because they have moved here in droves,practically every business is filled with indians all working in them and including where i work,ill tell ya there dedicated workers and work hard and i get it they need the hours to get there Canadian citizenship?So is there a long time perk of being indian and moving to Canada,Nova Scotia perhaps that i dont know about?Because us Canadians that have lived here all there lives are definitely not getting any perks or barebones living for godsake.

Im seriously considering leaving Canada. I was born here, but its the not the same as it used to be. Rent and food prices have skyrocketed, theres massive drug abuse and homelessness issues, and the culture has changed completely.
