What are great speech! i wish we have leader like Trudeau, not wacky,crazy and dumb as Trump.

I stand with Canada , Ukraine. Never with Russia. Never with Trump. or Vance. Not with the Republican Congress. Great speech , no name calling like last Friday.. MTG boyfriend who is another arrogant person like the President or the Vice President.

Nice to hear an intelligent speech. Why destroy relationships with your closest allies and then cuddle up to Putin and Russia? The only thing that makes sense is that Trump wants to make the USA like Russia. An oligarchy where the ultra-rich have all the money and control, and everyone else is poor and powerless.

I'm really surprised how sharp this speech was, and dense, with no made up alternative facts mumble. I should listen to more Trudeau speeches and less Trump. The rational, fact-based argumentation is like recharging after so much trump nonsense

Trudeau has brought Canada to poverty in his so called successful 2 terms government. Seen from overseas in Europa I can only say that Trudeau's speech is excellent. Canadians can be vrey proud to have a Prime Minister like him. Trump on the other hand is like a kid playing with matches. US americans are not the problem Trump is the problem.

As an American, I really liked Trudeau's speech. I thought he did a great job explaining everything and responding to this situation. I appreciate his words to the American people. There's just one thing he said that was inaccurate... trump is NOT a smart guy!!

I was questioning PM Trudeau for his foreign relationships and dealing with Khalistan separatists and straining Canada's relationship with India. But this speech changed that perception. I like how he addresses the very issue. Crystal clear and a very matured leader I would now change my position about him. This trade war will really hurt both sides. It may help govt as businesses will pay more on sales taxes. But it will ultimately hurt the consumers, especially middle and low income folks on both sides of the border a big way. There are so many problems to solve in USA and he focused on this.

Like I've said before or two other blogs, this man should not be up there addressing CNN or any other network or any population. Whether it be Canadian or American. He has no right to be there. He is not the prime minister of this country anymore. He has no right to be making policies or to be imposing tariffs or doing anything else of the sort. As a foreigner, I felt weird when he said that 'this is what our enemy wants to see', does he wants North American continent vs other continent s like Europe or Asia? I just don't like this part of his speech.

After hearing his speech-I’d rather go live in Canada- he gave it to everyone straight up and came with respect and honesty like a representative should-trump should’ve took notes.

I'm no admirer of Trudeau, but this was a great speech. (Can you imagine Donnie making a coherent speech like this? ?) but I disagree with him on one thing: Donnie is NOT a very smart guy. (Although I know why Trudeau felt he had to say that).
