Don't just blame the immigration agents/consultants. The students are equally culpable in this scam and bear responsibility for this fiasco.

Wow so in India, Indian students are being scammed by Indian recruiters and when they come here, they’re being scammed by Indian immigrants. ?

As an International student, though I moved to Canada a decade ago initially to look for a deeper meaning in life, I still kinda felt being scammed by the Government for spending a huge sums of tuition to end up with a useless diploma which leads to unemployment . I have contributed soooo much ?for Canadian economy for the past 11 years( actually my parents paid everything), but still neither me nor my family have received any benefits from this country so far. I don’t even have a family doctor, and my family don’t even want to come here so it’s just me alone! Still, I remind myself everyday that I ‘m not here to have a comfortable life , but to grow and to learn❤. I’m happy to be a volunteer here just to help out , dispute being perceived poorly by the media and society as if I ‘m a communist spy from China coming here just to rape everyone and to spread disease. No one trusts me but I put my trust in GOD. I know GOD is watching ✝️. I think finding god is the best outcome possible for me from immigrating to Canada.

So its a good thing Melania and her father got their papers due to her marriage to Trump already or they would be deported...such luck! This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

Universities are registered not-for-profits in Canada, so the for-profit argument can’t track. \nCanada needs a RICO law so we can more easily seize their assets and expel them, and hold universities to the fire for this crap, and the government officials getting kickbacks. Canada immigration is a big scam. There are no decent jobs for the immigrant professionals. Feel trapped after moving to canada. You cant get jobs in the govt or semi govt companies. Only those who have connections. Private companies have no obligation of hiring immigrants. They hire or outsource as they like. They need cheap labor. This immigration is a total failure.

One major issue which gets ignored is that the money these immigrants (specially Indian)make gets recycle back to their own home country instead of getting recycle here to improve the economy here in Canada. \nThey are sending Canadian made money back home to get invested and spent. Target the immigration agencies that promise these so called students all sorts of things and take the money then run… how do people keep believing these scams ?

And yet they protest in droves on Canadian soil with no shame at all, its sickening to see our nation bend down to these weak scam artists who take short cuts. Many hard working Canadians including my immigrant patents and myself worked hard in the early 80s to make ends meet and to integrate into this peacful landscape as if it was our own without any baggage of the Country we left. We also did not take shortcuts my parents came over with not even a degree and through their perseverance and hard work gained a threshold for us to survive and thrive.

The foreign students lied on their applications when they agreed to return home after studying, and now are applying for asylum to extend their stay at our expense. \nThey knew full well that the student visa was not an asylum claim. It was for study only. Period. \nThe students might even be coached by professional immigration consultants, who are being well paid, to scam the Canadian system.

Welcome legal residents but not illegal. Please make immigration screening good and strict, there are agents who do scams. Also understand the intention of people. Please don’t generalize an entire people based on some people s action.

Canada is NOT RESPONSIBLE or obligated to India in any way! Indian 'students' are SCAMMING our immigration system...and refuse to leave when their 'studies' are completed. Many cannot even speak proper English, nor do they have the skills to add to our economy...yet they still come and bring their entire family tree with them. Then they call us, their generous hosts, 'racist' when they don't get their own way.

The number of fraudulent calls from Indians I receive in a week is staggering. I'm a student myself and because of these folks its getting hard for genuine people to get a stay back. Close all the study abroad centers, IELTS centers and scam immigration from Punjab. 90% of immigrants are fine people. Sadly, people who were born here (of all races) don't have doctors, can't afford rent, can't afford food, can't find jobs. The government needs to cut immigration for the time being, invest in infrastructure, and then re-open the doors when we can sustain ourselves as well as our newcomers. Again, sadly, South Asian immigrants are the most visible due to the number immigrating to Canada and because they are snatching up all the failing local businesses and opening Indian restaurants (this isn't judgement, newcomers should absolutely have the right to start a business and support themselves, but the optics of long term business closing down to sell butter chicken sets some people off when our country is failing our existing small business owners). It isn't the fault of immigrants, it's the fault of the people mismanaging our country. Then there is the 10% scamming, forming gangs, skirting laws, etc. Screw them.

The so called fake agents as claimed by those Indian immigrants is actually fake itself. They are very well awarexabout all scams and stuff they do here yet come to Canada. I got to know several kaurs and singhs are doing fake marriages among themselves for PR especially students. In our class they mentioned that they do another course to get PR. Also they sound very rude and you cannot expect basic courtesy from them.

Im old generations Canadian, banks wont lend to me for beeing Construction Contractor, i cant buy land, denied a family doctor and beeing single dad of 4 have to pay everything out of pocket. As a Canadian child (early 1970's) I collected money with my candy on Halloween for people in Bangladesh. We have food banks and shelters and assistance programs for those suffering misfortune and our society WAS designed around public sharable services and programs. When I was a teen, a Guianese immigrant co-worker told me Canadians are stupid for providing handouts to immigrants and he laughed at me for buying his house with my taxes. In recent years there has been an influx of new residents whose focus is how they can take advantage, what they can get for free and those who try to cheat the system and cheat others. The scams and cheating that sends thousands of Indian students to Canada for an education at a school that cant take them is the same kind of scams starting here. The fraudulent proofs of income banks were receiving for house purchases has resulted in an artificially inflated housing market. I just bought a house and my Canadian born Indian neighbors literally gated and locked me out of $6000 of my land, while we were on good terms, because the felt like it. We were a society built on honor, trust and respect and while I wouldn't say its all the fault of Indians, there are by no means a small percentage and its getting worse.

What about asylum seekers also entering no one is talking about! Tax rebate for asylum seekers! College made money and government made money! People travelling on tourist visa and applying for jobs ! The Canadian visa system has been scammed by unscrupulous travel agents from Punjab and Gujarat. Its a mystery as to how illiterate villagers join Canadian colleges and get PR. They think that they're talking to a recruiter for a college, when in reality, it's a travel agency. It's sick how Canadian colleges have exploited the weaknesses in the system, and the government has allowed this to happen for so long. And now, after 9 years of Trudeau, the Liberals and the NDPs are back peddling trying to repair the bridges that the helped build and break. They gave the impression that I or any other who had a concern with immigration might be possibly racist or xenophobic. Our government weaponized words to shut our voices down. No immigrant, especially those in India, should be scammed to such an extent that they are living in a country they've never been to before that is bleeding them dry. Our government wants to conceal the reality of what's going on in Canada from the rest of the world, because they want this to keep happening. High cost of living. High cost of food. No incentive to start a family. This policy making is destroying so much Canada to offer to so many.

I have a lot of friends that are actual immigrants that do things the right way, and actually have respect for our country. Genuinely feels so bad for them right now being targeted because of these scamming assholes are making good people that actually immigrated here legitimately and/or were born and raised here look bad. It’s not fair to my friends that have to deal with hatred because of these scamming disrespectful assholes.

This is an honest video and I like that. I moved to Canada in 2010 and I moved back to Europe in 2021, so I am a Canadian immigrant and citizen now. I personally don't blame the Indians, I worked with people from India and I love a good tikka masala. Only Trudeau is to blame in Canada. But in India there are people who scam your Indian students, telling them they could go study in Canada and then become citizens and this is why now Indian students are protesting, because they realize they have been lied in India. So Canada is not to blame for this incident. Students must understand - they come to another country just to study, then go back home. And everybody must understand - when you move to another country, you must learn the new country culture. The Canadians must not adapt to the Indian culture, the Indians must adapt to the Canadian culture. I remember when we came to Canada they told us that if we do a crime, we would be deported back to our country. And now so many people do crimes and nothing happens. This is wrong. My point is - the main blame goes for the government, but some blame goes for the new Indian migrants too.

I don't even need to watch the video to explain why Canadians hate Indians. Indians flooded our country with mostly unskilled people who don't integrate. People who don't understand deodorant and shit on beaches. People who rape women and beat each other up in the streets. People who don't know how to drive a car safely. People who will live 10 people in a bedroom so landlords can jack up rent prices. People who scam the immigration system and bribe their way into the country using LMIA. I don’t blame the people that immigrated into Canada. I blame our government for bringing them in at unsustainable numbers. Modern slavery does not benefit anyone. \n\nWe need to end temporary foreign workers. \n\n\n\nWe need to end the scam diploma mill international students. \n\nWe meed immigration to fill skill gaps and actual job shortages. The funny thing is trudeau caused this issue and it's only years later he realizes he has to reverse it. Everyone that has immigrated in the past 5 years should be deported. We do not need 3 million immigrants in the span of 5 years.
