more people started work from home, of course demand for food delivery grows. its the culture!...not immigrant problems. Toronto and many other cities have a lot of empties condos....Trudeau need to introduce some cooling measures for housing purchase long long time ago, learn from Singapore! and more than 80% of its citizen stays in public housing. .....Canada is way behind 1st world country in its domestic policies

The public transportation system is a chaos, and the streets are often not clean ( e.g., broken beer bottles are everywhere) and also not safe enough ( compared with China ?? or Singapore ??), and too much letters by post?, those are the main reasons that I decided to leave Germany ??.

Singapore is trying a lot for getting Chinese people to work in Singapore. Many of them will return to China after a couple of years. These are usually the best and highest qualified.\nI suspect in Germany it's a somewhat similar situation. You train and educate someone, and then when he or she is really becoming productive ... bye bye. I personally had trained dozens in my job.

Now there's a small list of countries better or equal to canada : Australia, USA, New Zealand , Singapore , Germany , Scandinavian countries including iceland and China, Japan south korea and UAE more or less removing language barrier it's probably an english speaking country

Amazed that Canada being such a resource rich country cannot even provide affordable housing for her people. Learn from Singapore, with zero natural resource but still have 85% house ownership. Perhaps Canada should outsource managing the country to the smart Singaporeans!

I watch global news daily from UK and saw costs of living etc similar everywhere. Fortunately, I settled in the tranquil suburb of London and had nhs operation etc even during the covid. Originated East, I travel a!one annually to Singapore, Malaysia and Borneo etc.

Social programs are a safety net and save from having to pay out of pocket (security and peace of mind are worth their weight in gold).\n\nThe problem with your FB posts was caused by FB itself. They are correct.\nProbably at your age the digital nomad visa is easiest in the first instance. 3. I am familiar with Canada, US, and several other countries. I am Australian and have been retired in north Thailand for 16 years. Am happy here but will be moving to Malaysia shortly. 4. Space does not allow me to list all the reasons for giving you this advice. Understand that if you live there, moving on to Singapore for a more dynamic business environment. 5. The downside for you may be the full-time hot and humid weather. In addition the dating scene may be unsatisfactory, at least initially. Canada economy depends on education scam business and they willing give student visa to large number of foreigners. Dubai UAE, Singapore, Oman, Qatar is not giving any student visas to foreigners in such large numbers because there economy does not depend on it. Canada also lure foreigners by saying if they study in Canada than they will get work permit or permanent residency!! Canada should blame themselves for starting education scam business and giving student visa in large numbers.

have a fun adventure ... I lived working in China area for almost 30 years ... moved back to Canada .... it has a lot of problems now and is too cold ... move to Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong or Vietnam/Malaysia etc
