Immigration technically is an asset for a country like Canada, however the open door policy turned that asset into a liability. When you have a migrant community congregate into ghetto like fashion, you know your policy has failed somewhere. Psychologically speaking human would naturally gravitate towards people they have similarities(language, color, likes & dislikes, etc) with and congregate as a "tribe" for warmth & security. Just put one white person alone in the middle of an Indian market at rush hour, i promise you they'd run to the first white person they spot for "security", now tell that one guy that he has to live in India for the foreseeable future and that he has a choice of living in any area of that city and he learns that there a part of town where most of the white people live, where do you think he'll go?

All this happened when Canadians, particularly white people left Christianity and abandoned their churches and followed the woke ideology that was imposed on them by external forces. The damage is done. However, it’s never too late to rebuild your communities and start all over again. I am not from India…I came to Canada 31 years ago with my family. When I came here as a young man…You could not see any stores open on Sundays; other than gas stations and convenience stores. Majority of people attended church and the whole town had only two homeless people in it. Go back to your churches, have many kids and rebuild your communities…stay a way from Drugs and alcohol. Those are the consequences for opening the gates for immigration too wide for far too long. It's high time they start being more selective on who gets to immigrate and lower the number for at least a few years to get things back under control as this is Canada, either you assimilate or go back from where you come from.

Grew up in Brampton from age 5-10, half a decade of being a kid in such an open suburb area. Many neighbourhoods now we're farmlands and empty lots. The Indian population was just starting to boom, as I thought would all other ethnicities. Regardless of the changes of demographics, Brampton is still such a beautiful city, just taken over by overpopulation at a fast pace. We do not complain, but as a Country we should consider the rate of growth as a positive but also has many negatives. Finding jobs in Brampton is nearly impossible as a young adult - and also looking for new homes with landlords that aren't of Indian descent is becoming a rare occurrence. Changes can be made to benefit both Canadians and Indians as we are known for accepting all cultures, that is what I love about Canada. It is a sight to see when you witness the Indian culture in Brampton, lets not take that away!

Moved to downtown Toronto, Canada on June 5th, 1970. There was no indian grocery stores until a few years later, where a Mr. Sharma opened one of the very first stores. Growing up in the heart of downtown and going to school (Ossington and Old Orchard P.S.) wasn't easy. There was quite a bit of racism in those days so my sister and I had to assimilate quickly, in which we did. We happily lived within the Portuguese and Italian communities and the rest is history!!!!

You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. But after trudeau with mass immigration and them taking over other cities its when it became a little too much and started to take over canadian culture. I had a friend visit from the u.s for the very first time, and we did some sight seeing, you know going to places around ontario that tourists would check out, went to niagra falls for the first time in maybe 10 years man it changed. It was 90% Indian people. She noticed it right away but didnt say anything, i said a lot of indians huh? and she said yeah didnt think canada was like this. When you think Canada its always been mulicultural, you just think of all ethnicities and people of different cultures but at the end of the day everyone was Canadian and they assimilated. Now you dont think of a multicultural country you think of an indian country thats changing the canadian culture and way of life and not in a good way. Identity is being taken away and it needs to stop. Canada needs to take notes from Poland before its too late. Poland closed their doors and guess what? economy went up, crime rate went down, people are happier. Canada opened the doors, crime rate shot up, economy crashing, more homelessness then ever and so on. Not saying its specifically Indian people, its the amount coming in and how they adopt canadian culture but instead bring their culture and trye changing the country to fit them rather then fitting in with an already established country and culture.

I don't see this as a social problem, Canadians are from everywhere, we are not inherently racist because we are voicing the mess Canada is turning into. It's a Political problem. The last governments have quietly opened up immigration without providing infrastructure to support them. Taxpayers dollars have been dolled out for new immigrant's housing and living. This is akin to welfare in that there is no incentive to begin to work and make your own life when the federal government is supporting them with our tax dollars...and first generation Canadians are afraid to speak up for fear of sounding racist. Ridiculous. This has to stop and change. I'm planning on leaving. It's headed for disaster. I see the light.

I have lived over 15 years in Canada. I am an immigrant, and also don't like much when people bring their narrow understanding of their world, regardless of the culture. But, that doesn't equal to automatically blame the immigrants for new generations not having a job, or slavery wages. So of course any business like retail or restaurant’s biggest overhead is labour costs so if they can save like $6.00 an hour on every employee why wouldn’t they opt in for that. I also did a very deep dive into the voters in Canada. At least 4.5 million out of the 8.5 million voted the Carney liberals got in April 2025 were immigrant votes. That’s why Carney and liberals pander to the gigantic Muslim population in Canada. Muslims, Chinese, Indians from India, Ukrainians, Filipinos they all pretty much vote liberal. There weee over 100 Muslim groups that told their Muslim community to only vote for candidates that support Gaza Muslims and Palestinians. How is that not election interference. We know the Chinese directly interfere in our elections by threatening Chinese Canadians to vote liberal or their families in China will be harmed or they will be harmed inside Canada. In June Carney said Muslim values are Canadian values. Either this clown has no idea how radical Islam is or he knows and just panders for votes. Liberal cabinet ministers Anita Anand and Melanie Joly they both openly campaigned saying they must support Palestine because they both have large Muslim populations in their respective ridings. Over half of the liberal voter base is foreign now. I started in 2019 telling the federal conservatives look the liberals are importing new liberal voters. The party needs a strategy to win over the immigrant vote. I proposed hiring a team of individuals from the Muslim community, Chinese community etc to brainstorm on how to get their message across that if your an immigrant your best to vote conservative because the liberals don’t care about them they just want their vote. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. Bit of the conservatives refuse to pivot we will never see another federal conservative govt in our lifetimes. It’s not racist it’s the truth. I arrived in Canada 25 years ago. Yes, I am an immigrant — but I embraced this country, learned its language, and built my life here. Canadians welcomed me with open arms, and I carry deep respect and gratitude for that generosity. But Canada today is not the Canada of 25, or even 15, years ago. Our nation has changed profoundly. And because I love this country, I believe we must not be afraid to speak up, to protect the values and culture that make Canada the home we cherish.

I immigrated to Canada in 2020 during peak COVID. I lost my job working in the Middle East and I had my PR so it made sense moving to Canada for good. I’m a chemical engineer who worked in oil and gas for about 10 years in the Middle East. Once I landed in Canada, I went to work in Amazon Fullfillment Centre the week after I completed my quarantine. It was hard labor working for $16 per hour in Toronto. I worked for 10 months while working on my qualifications and engineering license. After that I was hired by an oil and gas contracting company and worked as a Trainee engineer after which I was promoted to Senior engineer in a year after I received my engineering license. I moved 4 cities in 4 years for my job. Now I am settled, own a home, got married to my long time girl friend and work at an Oil and Gas company which pays well. What I learnt through my experience is that Canada is a land of opportunities and people respect you for the work you do whatever it may be and do not judge you, all that we will have to do is work hard and improve on your skills. Integrate with the society, donate and volunteer. That’s how new immigrants can integrate. If you aren’t open minded and want to stay as you stayed in your country then you will not develop and it will hinder yours and the country’s progress.

I'm a Canadian, I was born here, who knows what generation Canadian I am - my ancestors were here long before Canada was a country, later they fought for the British (one naughty son fought for the "rebels" americans and was in jail for 5 years), the monarchy granted them 100 acres in the Niagara region which was farmed by a line of my family until the 1980s when the last of that direct line sold which is tragic. blah blah - Canadian. ANYWAY - I love other people, other cultures, every immigrant that spoke in this video I welcome with open arms, would befriend, share a meal with etc. I grew up working with many people from Pakistan and India who were escaping really scary situations, worked their butts off to be part of this country, learn the language, save for a home - live a safe and happy life. Whether you're a first or 50th generation Canadian - you come here and you adapt to our wonderful way - you're a freaking Canadian. That's not happening right now. Like the video said, it's a math problem. One of my largest concerns is that now all these wonderful Canadians who have been here for a long ass time, worked their butts off to be part of the family will now be subject to violence, harassment and racist comments because this population bomb has misrepresented their intentions entirely.

Some politicians needed new votes to stay in power, so they opened wide the doors, inviting them and giving them benefits (paid for by taxpayers) without giving a dam that Canada was already in a housing crisis, Canada HAS to turn the "NO VACANCY" light on and send a bunch back. And before any governments send $$$ care packages to another country, Canadians should be asked if yes or no and about how much, NOT the governments. They are there to work FOR us not us for them!

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

We are all immigrants other than the indigenous and Inuit. My father’s family can be traced back to 1538. He is French Canadian and native. My mom was an Irish American from Cleveland Ohio. This country has changed so much. I am at a loss. We need to speak out our opinions. I have lived here all over Canada, all my life. Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. Never. Everything is destroyed. This feels like India 😢😢😢. We have to stop this. They need to leave. They are not here because of war or danger for their lives. They are here to take the jobs, take over our culture and country. Now we have to be careful what we say or were called racist. I'm white I lived in the hood all my life. With black people. I have alot of black friends even family but this is so damn reducilous. Who are they a d why are they here. Canada doesn't take care of us any more. Or help us people who need it. I have friends from Ukraine. Now they are brought here because of the war. I get it. But they have their own immigration dr. It's quite understandable when it seems overnight Canada is invaded by Indians from India! What happened? I was born and raised in Canada. I went to a walk in clinic and was rejected. They told me they only take immigrants. I felt so hopeless. Their clinic was empty, compared to other walk in clincs that reach capacity before they even open their doors.

My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. Just because you're alone in a box in a city, stacked one on top of the other, weighted down by a landslide of rules, collecting benefits from the Government, doesn't make you autonomous. People say, "no one can afford a family". Yet those coming in have large families and they seem to be making out just fine. It's the brainwashing of our culture that set us up. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.
