So sad few Indian families have died ( drowned and froze to death) trying to illegally enter USA. The worst thing is both families were doing quite well in India. What is going on??

No offense, but I would like to say this is how we people feel in India. Not entire community is bad as you sad but obviously few of them. But what do we hear, ah xyz community people are like this.. the same thing which canadians say to Indians. But back at home in India, even govt. is against us. So all those Indians who faces racism in Canada, in the same way we use to feel in India.

I’m not judging all populations from India. I’m from Poland. My friend unfortunately came back to India and I’m really Sad about it because She was one of the best friends. They came back home because cost of living is to expensive. I hope one day she will be back.

The sad part is that India have the most scammers next to china!! They are very aggressive in sales and if you don't buy some become rude?

Sad to say but, probably these Indians have a contingency plan to make Canada as the second India. They're taking advantage of all the possible immigration programs, until they can bring their entire clan here, which is alarming and not anymore acceptable. They exploited the program and the government seems like they are not doing anything about it. We, the locals, are worried about the turnout in the coming years.? I feel bad for the people who were born here, and especially the first Nations.

Sad but why is half of India still heading there?

Sadly NZ and Australia have the same issues - so many immigrants over the last 20 years - no new hospitals, schools or infrestructure, our population has grown by 1 million in 15 years - NZers living on the streets because housing has been pushed to some of the highest prices in the world, and immigrants taking low-skill and service-worker jobs. Predominantly from India and China!

It's really sad to see this ..these kids don't come from great financial backgrounds ..and looting them for 20 to 25 lakhs is like a crime. It's like more educated way to loot someone. I went on an Office visit to Toronto back in 2013 when basement costed around 700 to 800 CAD, the student's situation wasn't that grave. One could see students, but not many. Mostly were working people back then. This govt Official you interviewed needs to take his job more seriously. 20-30 lakhs could be more than life savings for some families here in India. A very disturbing story came out from the Canada USA border last year. A family of four from India that was crossing the border during a blizzard that froze/starved to death. So unbelievably sad.

Canada is in crisis due to immigrants so I don’t understand why you keep coming. Of course Canadian people will not welcome you, our kids can’t get jobs because all jobs are filled with Indian students who agree to work for less ruing our work system. We have Indian people crapping on our beaches because they don’t know how to use a bathroom. Complete different mindset and culture. We are a clean country and welcoming but millions of people at once is too much. I’m pretty sure India would feel the same way if Canadians would do that to you. Not sure why everyone in the world is allowed to be proud of their culture and heritage except for EU or western world. Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. People with no skills back home, can't land a job anywhere else. Period.

Inspite of this video - students are still going to apply for student permits to Canada because even though your video is true - there are far more more poor people in India than Canada. Until India reduces its population by a massive amount and improves its nominal per capita GDP to at least 10000 USD - this trend will continue for people to move from a developing to developed country. Sad state of affairs.

Yup too many Indians here hospitals have all too many Dr's not one white dr in sight, it's like being in India basically really really sad. And most of the time their heavy accents are fkn hard to discern, I even have to correct or ask these Dr's to repeat the the technical word cause they can't pronounce it correctly.

Gosh the hate and xenophobia against Indians in the comments is appalling. I agree the level of immigration is bad and government is letting it run out of hand. I also agree that many of these Indian students aren’t fit for a Canadian life and integration and a lot many folks from India are gaming the system but the Canadian government is not doing anything and it’s a big problem. South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? Sadly the new immigration are bad Trudeau policies that India wanted deported back. Others are temporary honest Indian students that are being ripped off by Canadian wrong policies of shameless cash grab. Assimilation for new immigrants could be something in common e.g. free classical piano lessons for everyone in school. Music and language is a great first step in communication. The drug problem has nothing to do with immigration, it is the result of their own culture of drug abuse and bad Canadian policies. I think it is sad that the woman seems to be so negative without realizing the she has to care and use her power for good by demanding that no Canadian should be on the streets, this is why ALL Canadians (especially include South Asian Indians) pay taxes. where is our money going? is not the Canadian Government responsible for the welfare of ALL Canadians? we were the peacekeepers. Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. As an Indian I feel your frustration feeling like stranger in your nation is very sad. ? Fellow Indians seeing this there is Malayalam saying that when you got to a land where they eat vipers you must eat it's middle portion. So try to become a Canadian don't turn Canada to India.

Sadly we have extremely weak leaders in Canada. Our Canadian young people thanks to DEI can’t find summer work so they can afford the next semester at school. They came under false pretences. I am speaking as an Indian, who lived and worked in Thailand for 2 years, and now will be moving to Europe on a specialist skills visa. Indians as immigrants have been a productive addition to any country worldwide, compared to other nationalities. But the only exception case is in Canada. \n\nThe reality is, in Canada, the majority of immigrants are only from a specific part of India (Punjab), and most of these people are deluded, uneducated and unskilled. You are 100% right, they are not there to upskill or even contribute. I can bet these people have not even lived in big cities in India itself, they come from villages and small towns and have never seen how modern societies or even cities work.\n\nI feel sad for Canadians because most of this is their government's fault. The guy sounds like Chinese or Korean, he was intentionally harassing the delivery guy and recorded video to humiliate him. The delivery guy should call police and complain for abusive behaviour. This Video is evidence to prove his crime. \nBut sadly some Indians have same reputation to being racist in their own country. Recently a Somalian blogger was racially harnessed in India. Indian minority people always harassed mostly Muslim and Dalit people by Hindu majority group. If Indian people do not change their behaviour to their own people you will get same treatment from others.

If we moved to any country you would live by their rules. They move to Canada they do and wear what they want. We have our RCMP that look like India police with turbans. They get to carry their religious knives, they don't have to wear helmets while riding a motorcycle. Then you get women wearing the full garbage bags. The beach is funny to go to and look at their bathing suits. We are a minority in our own Country, just go to any major city in Canada, it's pretty sad to see our Trudeau Canada. Close the border we're full.

Why the census census states Punjabi and not Indian is that we have a distinct cultural difference. Sadly a lot of the deterioration Brampton is going through is probably what is atypical of Punjab in Pakistan and India. Cultures congregate when coming to a new country. Re Brampton the affluent from India send their kids with much money backing them. Sadly, this offshore income is due to little or no taxation. So the new arrivals easily outcompete tax paying residents who Pais for the infrastructure only to be outcompeted by new arrivals who haven't.

Next week Old Scot Road, in Vancouver. I played as a child on my grandfather's farm, with fields and an old barn. Today that specific area is full of mosque temple, Indian architect, malls, densely populated, and I am shocked at what was once Canadian and now Canada has sold it's soul to the over populated countries of the world that did not keep population under control. Why’s the white population declining in cities like Brampton where immigrant populations are soaring? Go to an immigrant owned business, they don’t hire white people. Go to immigrant owned rentals, they don’t house white people. So why would white Canadians move to a city or area that won’t house or employ them? Even canadian universities are turning down more and more Canadian born students in favour of international students because they pay more. It’s sad to see Canadian born youth being rejected by their own country institutes. You would never see this in India or China or Pakistan.
