Salams, my African sisters. I loved your informative video it’s very similar to living in the US, where I’m from. Here it is much worse, there is RACISM, CRIME, ect. You would wait 8 hours in hospital but have to pay thousands yourself. The taxes are less here but you spend so much more in healthcare and at work you get one week of vacation and you’re discouraged to take it. The cost of living is high here as well. I love hearing about Canada you are both so beautiful and blessed.

Interesting video. And I think it's just getting worse right now for most Canadians, immigrant or not due to the current government. Well, too much government in general. \n\nOn a side note, Calgary can get cold as F but it does have 300 days of sun. It may be minus 30, but blue skies and sunny days all the time

Great video. My first cultural shock in the US was when someone called the police ?‍♀️ on me for sitting in front of a staircase in an apartment complex. They almost charged me criminally for trespassing!!! Coming from ?? Ghana, where we co-live and co-share and co-relate, I was ? shocked. Human beings are social beings. Our innate nature is to inter-depend on others. Once that contract is broken, society won’t be be the same. Most kids in the US are raised indoors and this has serious effects on them growing up. They become anti-social, less empathetic and depressed. Another factor worth considering is the abundance of ☀️ Sunlight. Yes the sun we sometimes complain about in Africa provides vitamin D which helps your serotonin (happiness gland). So it gets worse when you have less sunshine in US and stay indoors.

One of the dumbest videos ever. I’m an immigrant in the US (now a citizen), except for lack of jobs and weather every thing you talk about applies any where for an immigrant. I wanted to go back when I first moved to the US but fought it out with a low paying job before I ended up becoming an Executive. It’s not just Canada - for brown folks like me moving to Russia would be even worse! Also no immigrant leaves Canada in winter to vacation elsewhere in the world unless they are retired or rich. Immigrants are not bears to not work in winter and hibernate. Fun fact - it rains more in Atlanta than in Vancouver, we had 70” rain in 2020, 50”+ in 2021. You folks need to stop spreading this fake BS!

I live in Quebec's Outaouais region and through I love my home and would likely never move there needs to be mention that many of my fellow Québecois are very intolerant of race and language differences and the more you go north the worse it gets. I don't know how it stacks up to the rest of the country, maybe you could do a video on that.

I really wish the government officials will see this video but they do not care.I have been living in Canada over twenty years. Me and my family are deciding to leave here and going back to home country. This Country is getting worse and worse for everything

There's only one reason why this pandemic always gets worse each day. People like that ignorant guy in the video needs to wear a mask, social distancing himself but also stop the travelling, partying, Beaches, etc.

Really interesting video, and I really liked the black Canadian perspective. I’m a black American and we don’t really hear about black Canadians and their similar struggle (possibly worse since I’m just assuming there are fewer black people there and Canada is not “known” for its racism like the US is so people may not think it’s an issue)

To be honest, this whole video seems so biased. I couldn't watch it past the 10 minute mark.\n First of all, if the white guy had been the first to tell the manager that he was interested in the apartments, then of course that same manager is going to tell the 2nd person (asian guy) that the availability is limited. He already HAS a potential renter, why would he need more? The 1st guy already chose one of the apartments, so of course the Asian guy would have less options.\nSecondly, and I'm sorry to say this, but statistically there are more black shoplifting cases than with any other race. It's sad, but true. These retailers are just trying to protect their assets, and it's their right.\nThirdly, that lady was in the wrong, for one, because if a security person is asking to inspect your purse on THEIR retail grounds and you have nothing to hide, then why are you being uncooperative? That just makes you look worse.

This is very unscientific compared to other Marketplace investigations. i have had worse things done to me by hispanic security guard at Safeway. I am white. i refused to provide my receipt to guard who singled me out after this happened to me multiple times, see below. they detained me for 15 minutes. I called the Berkeley police. Instead of arresting them for false imprisonment Police told me I was banned from store and would be arrested if I return. I have video. Wonder if that would go viral? No, I’m white. Also accused of stealing by Asian american deli workers at Safewat in SF. I have video of that. In that case black security guard backed me up in my claim that I brought in the rye bread from outside that I asked my sandwich be made with. At another Safeway in SF the Eastern European deli manager got the black security guard to single me out to produce my receipt. I showed it to him. A few days later I saw a black man walk in that Safeway and go to the expensive cold drinks area, open a bottle and start drinking it. I alerted the store workers but they refused to ask him fir his receipt because they had not personally seen him steal it. I had nit stole anything but that did not prevent them from asking this white dude or accusing me falsely in 3 different Safeway stores.

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I think it is a wonderful thing to share the world's longest border with such a great nation as Canada. I have always thought Canada was like the United States fraternal brother or sister. We are very much alike with a few beautiful differences that distinguishes from one another. It doesn't appear that you upload videos hear anymore but I hope you get the opportunity to read this. If you think Violent Jihad is bad, you will be surprised that something worse is brewing in the background. Stealth Jihad is only but one prong of the full attack. The reason why we are hindered by PC is the result of what the enemy has been desperately trying to do for decades at the UN. They have the biggest voting bloc at the UN and all of them speak unanimously for each other. If you know when exactly they had been starting to raise their shady resolutions, you will realise that it predates 9-11, which says a lot of how connected and well orchestrated they are.\nThey know our weaknesses better than us, and they are using it to their full advantage at will.\nOn top of these three angles of attack, they also have religious people hanging around the government, providing advices or should i say, constantly reminding the governments that their feelings are hurt whenever someone uses the words like islamic terrorism or muslim perpetrators. Not to mention that they also have their 'agents' holding positions in the governments. Of course, if you were to watch closely, these ministers are covertly trying to advance islam hiding behind multi-culturalism while they appear like they are doing something for their countries. And of course, their people would naturally know who to vote for.\nIf you realised, the terrorist attacks are not as frequent as 2016/2017. Its part of their damage control phase.\nBut they will still continue to do what they are supposed to do, escalation of demands, coming together to get rid of people of threat to them, crying victimhood and playing the race card, until they have established sharia law in every nation. If you think sharia laws is only meant for them, you are so wrong. They can legitimately get rid of us simply by applying their laws. Its a very very very big Trojan horse. Every country that receives these immigrants experience the same set of problems, and it always end with them trying to establish sharia law. Ask yourself this, they all come from different countries, they all end up in different countries and yet they all say the same thing, at almost the same time? Its a worldwide movement. Lebanon also used to accept refugees. And they are applying the same proven formula this time.\n\nI had seen a video before about someone saying they started this worldwide plan somewhere around 1995, but i had forgotten which video it was already.\n\nAll non-islamic countries should come together secretly and derive a once and for all plan. Ultimately, besides saving ourselves, we should also save them from clutches of the devil, literally, which demands their full and blind submission. It's Islamists that are a blood stain on this country where thousands upon thousands of men and women gave their lives for our freedoms and rights but now look at what these people have brought to this beautiful country. It's a lot more negative than positive and its only going to get worse. They've brought grief with them everywhere they migrate to. After this video the good people of Canada have spoken, but who is really listening. It's just a crying shame. Their religion and ideologies are a disgrace not only unto them but unto the human race itself. Where is the goodness of this religion in our society, and where is the respectfulness and productivity when we allow these people into our country. I feel so very sad for this great country's future.
