You are upset because you burned the world down, and destroyed real life, and just an fyi, you contributed to the sorrow of those people burning the world down, eroding the topsoil, killing the ocean, and overall, as you will find out in the future, you are worse than the people you are talking down on and you thinking it is your right to travel everywhere is what caused the pandemic to spread. People like you are why the world is dying. You forgot what it means to be human. You smoke lethal shit every day. You never take a day off from smoking fossil fuels do you? No? You jetset around the world like its your right, but you forgot that life isn't just some dream. Yup, I'm living for the day when Canada gets past this Liberal/Conservative duarchy that has brought the country to this. (But their big business buddies are doing well, so no problem, right?) If we'd invested in the future (healthcare, livable jobs...), maintained housing as a social good and not a profit-making sector, et cetera, over the past decades this would be one of the best countries in the world. I lived in Canada when I was 5 years old. I don't remember much from when I was 5 years old but I remember the feeling of home Canada gave me. I was happiest in Canada and my family felt safe and grateful to be there. I left Canada in only a year though cause we went there to study English, and I was very sad because Canada was the best place ever for me. I've been to several countries but Canada always had me in love. I was planning on going back for college and living there, but when I realized the state Canada is now, I was heartbroken because it looked nothing like the amazing place I had lived in years back. I'm still very sad about this and I pray the Canada I used to know will be back one day so that I can return to the place that was the closest thing I've ever felt like home.

It's so sad to read all these different comments.\nI migrated to Canada during the early 90s from Singapore through the live in caregiver program now became naturalized canadian. In those days there's no such thing like these can't believed why we have so much influx of Indians in particular

TFW here, east Asian, a couple of things:\nI am paid the provincial minimum wage, and work in the dairy industry, medium sized farm.\nI started working straight out of high school\n\nFrom what I can see and hear from across the province and largely in the western Canadian provinces, older generation farmers are at the retirement age, but the younger generation is generally very reluctant to take over. \nNot all industries, but definitely in livestock, people sometimes don't realize that, there is literally no breaks, ever! You work every day, holidays, Christmas, and if you do chose to take a few days off, your co-workers, i.e. other family members or workers, have to take up the extra workload. You barely have time for your family, you are often tired around your kids. Farmers have some of the highest suicide rates among all occupations, as well as a difficulty to find partners due to the nature of their jobs.\nThe work is hard, days long, especially during harvests, and if the ever more expensive tractors, equipment fail...\nThere used to be a lot of family owned farms, over the last few decades most have sold their generational farm and left the industry, most because of the cost to operate and because the next generation's unwillingness to take over.\nYong people my age have not been seen applying for my position in a few years now, despite ongoing hiring effort at significantly higher than minimum wage, and I have repeatedly stated that I, although love my job, am ready to step aside at any point so a Canadian PR or citizen can take my position, as required by worker rules. There were a few inquiries from neighboring areas, mostly made by parents, but their children in the end all refused to work, even part time, or seasonal.\n\nOn the other hand, there is the issue of prices: equipment costs have largely more than doubled since the pandemic, grain prices rose... and all that on top of the constant uncertainty of the weather every planting and harvesting season. Most farms don't ever make a profit after the yearly operating cost is deducted from earnings, and the little profit that on occasion appear, goes right back into paying debt or reinvesting in renewing long overdue old equipment.\n\nMy position, and all those similar to mine in agriculture, are in all fairness, very low skilled, with minimum training, and therefore is only worth minimum wage, in my opinion. I was actually offered a higher amount but in the end turned it down because on the job, I discovered the only thing I bring to the table is manual labor (I know that's not really the right way to go about wages, but I do believe that wages should be based on the irreplaceableness of one's skills, and as it stands, although no replacements were ever found, I am very much easily replaceable, skill wise). That, compared to a slightly better paid Starbucks position, with benefits (most farm workers and owners don't have benefits or pension, yes owners too), air conditioning, regular work hours. I mean, if it wasn't for my particular interest for agriculture I'd pick Starbucks any day too!\n\nI think a couple issues are at hand, \n1. Most of agriculture's profit ends up in the corporate processing and supermarkets, that needs to change, workers could benefit, as well as consumers, from distributing that profit between farmers and shoppers.\n2. Agriculture in today's context no longer fit the modern life, although I strongly think that A LOT of people can benefit from getting their hands dirty once in a while and sweating a bit, improve physical and mental health, have better discipline all that jazz. So foreign workers are the temporary solution, if well regulated so that Canadian PR and citizens are ALWAYS prioritized for hire and at a fair wage. This cannot happen unless farmers can turn a profit, stated in point 1.\n3. A new generation of farmers are needed to take over, and they need to be somehow convinced that it is worth the toil, because as it stands, it is not, financially, life style wise. Automation is one solution, although therein lies the huge, foreseeable risk of corporate takeover.\n4. On a specific note, TFW does mandate that workers are provided up to standard housing (not always followed), which puts local workers at a huge disadvantage if they are commuting to work and paying rent, although that rarely happens, and the majority of farms do offer housing to all.\n\n\nI am aware that me being treated up to regulation is not the norm among my TFW peers, which is quite sad and unacceptable. But in my opinion, even if given a leveled playing field, wages , conditions, housing, etc. Canadian citizens and PRs largely will be unable to meet the demand for these jobs, from unwillingness to work really hard physically, unwillingness to live the lifestyle, wanting a career with better prospects... these are harsh words, but I believe to be true, and they also come from a lot of older generation farmers talking about their children and grandchildren. \n\nThis is just in the agri industry, and from what I hear from farmers from all over western Canada : )

I’m not judging all populations from India. I’m from Poland. My friend unfortunately came back to India and I’m really Sad about it because She was one of the best friends. They came back home because cost of living is to expensive. I hope one day she will be back.

Trudeau must step down. I'm speaking as a black person. Majority of the hiring department is field by Indians, therefore, they are only hiring Indians. My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

I'm Brazilian, I love Canada and I lived there for 4 years, 2 in Montreal and 2 in Toronto. I'm very sad to hear about the situation Canada is in now, it's unbelievable! \nToday I live in Germany, but I hate living here, despite the quality of life and security that this country still has, there are other factors with which I have not adapted. \nWhat I can say is that it's getting harder every day to choose a country to live in, because they all seem to be decaying. Today, when I think of a new country to live in, I have a lot of doubts, there aren't many options. If a country like Canada is like this, everything else must be much worse.\nCoincidence or not, Canada, among others, began to decline after the country embraced the Woke “culture” and opened its doors to certain types of immigrants who are incompatible with the country's culture. The middle class has never had it good. A very small group of people do really well in life (due to TONS of different factors) and the rest not so much. It's been like that from the dawn of humanity. I grew up in the 90s in Canada, and everyone in these types of videos is acting like middle class people back in the day were living this baller, lavish lifestyle travelling the world and driving luxury cars. Ha! They were clipping coupons, and ordering whatever the special was whenever they went out to family restaurants. They drove Dodge Caravans, and lived paycheck-to-paycheck. I was one of them, as were my friends growing up. I was lucky enough to find something that helped me get out of all that. Sad reality of the world is and has always been, the rich can enjoy life and the rest take what's given to them. I'm not saying that's good, but it is what it is.

I live in Canada over 30 years, and I never accepted this country as my home, Canada wasn't my choice. I wanted stay in Europe in Germany, country that was stolen from Germans, I am from Europe and there is my home we wore sent far away to another continent from our own, far from families and tradition, culture, religion, Europeans people wore replaced with different ethnic group of people from different continents with different values, religions, cultures and traditions. They have nothing in common with Europe, they even do not look like European people, Canada is a country without face, without culture, without religion, and what is the worse without any value of morality, to the people living in Canada dollar is their value, dollar is their God, beside Canada was always overrated, Canada is empty of beautiful things like monuments, statues, sculptures, beautiful buildings, bridges, parks, cathedrals, churches only emptiness a sad feeling of having no emotion or purpose only work and work days and nights, take mortgage, take loan, pay back and take another loan so you must be all your life in debt, there is nothing for you soul, and finally if you surrounded with ugliness you became animals, Canada is a perfect place for those kind of people that they do not care for beautiful things, and they keep dying like an animals.

That is sad news in some way but it is your decision and your decision alone. With all your travel experience in the world I do not doubt for a moment that you will not rebuild your live elsewhere. Make a pitstop in the Netherlands some day, not Amsterdam ( yes Schiphol airport is located there ) but other very interesting places to visit, we have a lot to offer. Yes we are small but very successful in what we do. Nothing is perfect but I will never leave my country to permanent settle to another country. Maybe travel for a longer time or rent a nice place near the mountains somewhere but permanent settling no, things are very well arranged in my country, with top 10 passport strength if you will ? Canada is on my bucketlist as I told earlier. But as a tourist I will not feel the problems Canadians have these days, I pitty for them, so sad. Landlord Tenant board is a joke and should be called Tenant Board. Since PC govt came in power two housing minister have made situation worse for small landlords. There are less adjudicators than 6 years ago and applications take upto a year before learning takes place. Even then, any excuse by tenants is tolerated but landlord suffer. I will not invest any more in Ontario. It is a very very bad place and PC govt does not care. I do not know what housing minister does all day. Sad.

Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. Forget about GOD can't be surprised when he forgets about you. That said Australia is not much better and getting worse by the day. Western Canadian here. Moved away from the coast last year because of the ideological capture and literally watching the community dissolve and collapse in front of my eyes. Overwhelming drug abuse and a lack of policing or care for the general population. \n\nThe state of this country is sad. Yesterday was Canada Day, our July 4th. Virtually no flags or positive sentiment. What do we have to be proud of?\n\nI want to be clear here, I don’t blame the the immigrant populations for coming here, I blame the people that allowed them to come with ZERO plan for how to ensure they’re taken care of while not negatively impacting native Canadians.\n\nThe government created this problem, they can fix it but choose not to and instead turn us all against each other when we should be pointing the finger at the powers that be.\n\nBut I’m sure for this opinion they’ll show up at my place later for wrong think so it’s been swell everyone.\n\nGood luck out there in this absolute clown show. A lot of Canadian have a misconception about Indian students. Majority of the students who came after the pandemic were business professionals who took the pandemic as an opportunity to get back to education. They chose Canada because of its beauty and friendly people. The reality of which is they paid 3 times as much tuition as a Canadian, got abused at their work place for bare minimum wage. They paid a hefty price for a degree that no country recognizes. Its funny how your PM cashed your CERB cheques with the cash of international students. Its sad how Indian students follow the legal process to enter your nation and get hate for being illegals. Students who have a CRS score 500+ struggle to make a living while your government provides easy immigration by asylum to people who themselves burned their countries down. Its sad to be in a nation where getting a call connected to the CRA takes more time than getting political asylum. Your government spends your tax money on asylum seekers and their 6-7 kids who come with them and not international students. We bring money to your nation. 7 billion dollars is what the students bring your nation every year, while your PM sends 5 times as much to fund someone else’s war. You put a communist dictator to represent you and you are paying its price. Darker days lie ahead for Canada and they have nothing to do with Indian students.

i lived there as economic immigrant in Toronto for 4 years back in 2009 to 2013, i loved the city it was vibrant, beautiful, multicultural, people were nice polite, rent was ok , house prices were affordable, i loved every inch of this city, yonge and bloor, Dundas, Chester greektown, high park, north york , Yorkville with the fancy restaurants bars and houses, spadina mansions, harbourfront, were all my favorite places, i have so many beautiful memories in this city, i studied and worked there, but unfortunately i came back in 2015 then 2018 for few days, it was changing gradually to the worse more homeless, more crimes, more mentally sick people, very expensive housing rent food, am so sad fo rthis wonderful city

holy crap. Sorry but as a Nova Scotian I have to strongly disagree . Our housing costs both renting or buying has gone crazy in the last three years . We have people living in tents even in the winter. Homelessness is in crisis. I personally have a friend in her 60s and sick and will be homeless in 3 days as she cannot find an apartment much less afford one Prices in everything has gone sky high. While salaries stay low. Every where you look now you see garbage just thrown. Last year we had devestating floods and wildfires. University students get her and cannot find housing. One international student is paying $400 a month to sleep on a hallway floor. I know housing in all our provinces is a problem. Tent cities are everywhere. People poyring in without us having the means to house them has caused terrible sufferring for all. People shoukd not come to NS at this time. Wait until there are places built to house people. Also our healrh care system is in crisis. I love my province but I dont even recognise it anymore. It is so sad what is happening here. People come here from away and some start youtube channels to tell people from their home countries Not to come here.

Look I'm not saying Israel is doing everything right they are also making constant use of inhumane methods to justify their cause and goal but at least they are fighting also for the Arab refugees in their state ... In terms of Western values and basic humane rights Muslim ppl living in Israel have it by far better than in most other radical islamic countries

The only solution is to reduce the supply of people looking for a place to live, a doctor, and a job. They are in competition with our own youth for the little that is out there , and the majority of youth, we are now told, no longer expect to ever have a home of their own. And we were brought to this sad state by a PM who said he wanted to make homes more AFFORDABLE and to help the middle class (whatever that is these days) and those trying to enter it. WHAT A PATHETIC FAILURE!! A proud man would leave, but this one is way too arrogant to ever admit he is not up to the job.

Stay out of this place its trash. Unless you are a millionaire you will be poor no matter what. And if u are a millionaire you wont be for long. The taxes are crazy, the cost of living is crazy. You will never own a home unless you are very very rich, the weather is horrible, if thats not enough for you all the above problems are getting worst by the day. Im an engineer making 130-140k a year and couldnt afford a house in even the cheaper cities such as halifax... toronto or vancouver? Forget about it. I forgot to mention the healthcare, people are dying in waiting rooms and from cancers that could be treated if detected early, but they are often stage 4 before even being diagnosed. Very sad but very common

As a foreigner myself and living my last days here before moving to the US, I can say that my main issues were: access to the job market (the egg-chicken paradox that you described perfectly) and the cost of living. Sad to leave because i did picture myself here, but unfortunately I couldn't find what I was looking for

I’m surprised you never saw me. I’m homeless in a shelter and I hate this city.. well I hate all the cities like this. The people are heartless and sacred. The homeless are high and sad… I wander the streets like all day every day. When I have money I try to help the street people. Or I end up smoking weed on occasion. But there’s a lot of garbage and garbage people out there. I’m basically the rat king. I wander round doing anything I can. I’m pretty crazy tho I have bpd and doctors don’t really help anyone. I just live in the shelter and during the day I wander the streets trying to learn the city and help people. Sometimes I’m rude and angry and insane due to the state of the city and all I’ve seen. I yell and sing as I walk around just to hate everyone who is the average scumbag citizen. You know who I mean.. and I call them out on their bs. But only during my bpd episode or whatever. Otherwise I try to help all the street rats. But lots of them are helpless addicts like it’s hard to find the proper way to help. You gotta be careful who you help I suppose, because your good intentions of helping can lead to harming them. They end up buying drugs I guess sometimes. I am very easy to spot. I’m zooming down the streets. I usually walk so fast and everyone is so brainwashed brain dead slaves of society for real… they don’t care or help no one. I mean some do but it’s extremely rare…. I’ve probably walked literally everywhere you were. That park on Jarvis. I see those security guards lol they were dicks to you and definitely lied about not being on camera. I see them like almost every day. And all the other places. I slept outside a few times not often. I’ve been to all these spots I walk by them all the time it was crazy to see it all. That’s my life haha it’s awesome. I do the best I can and it’s definitely better than everyone else who has a job and a place like…. They’re all just selfish shallow heartless scumbags. Harsh truth. You know, you just uploaded this video two days ago, and two nights ago, I took a walk from Yonge and Bloor to Yonge and Dundas. I could not believe how bad the city has gotten... just like your video demonstrates. There were homeless people and drug addicts all the the way down Yonge...dozens at every corner. Tons on the subway, too. I even made a FB post about it, because I was so dismayed. Your video really demonstrates what's going on in the pulse of the city. It's so disturbing... it actually makes me really sad to see Toronto's relatively sudden severe decline. (I've been living in Toronto since 1998). And believe me - I know the rest of Canada is not far behind.
