Trump doesn't want stopped, if he wants to change the Constitution or demand the Military to arrest citizens. He's Dismantled checks and balances, and evades the Rule of Law. Trump stopped US aid to keep Ukraine's Power Grid functioning, so people hospitalized wouldn't freeze to death. We obviously have a Russian Asset running the Oval office. It only took HITLER 53 day's to become a Dictator. You had better speak up quickly, Republicans and Democrats or you are going to lose your FREEDOMS.

If he can harm Canada he will be pleased. He wants to control Canada.. Canada is guilty of not arranging an alternative to the Keystone pipeline. The U.S. refineries need the Canadian heavy oil. If Canada had created pipelines to Vancouver they would be in a better position but as it is Trump wins.

as a Canadian, i would like to thank Donald and Elon for their plans to implement the most innovative degrowth agenda imaginable. why dance around the edges like Canada has with its consumer carbon tax that rebated more money to most citizens than they spent on carbon taxes ? no, the DOGE solution to addressing climate change is much better .. just cripple the three north american economies with tariffs, put hundreds of thousands of citizens out of work, and make the Trump tax cuts permanent so that the federal government is broke as well. no more money means no more spending or consuming .. it's a win for the entire planet !!

I am a Canadian living in the states and, Living very good off of what I get from the states for I have not worked in 27 years because of an injury. The U.S.A. has been better to me than the country I am a citizen of Canada. All my life my very large family in Canada come here to the states and goes home with the bumper or trailer hitch hitting the ground for it would be overloaded with products from the states because it cost so much less here.

The reason for this 'trade war' is not about 'trade'. It's about 'creating chaos' so that president Trump is the 'centre' of world attention. A malignant naracistic individual apparently cannot have anyone seemingly to be 'doing better' or being more successful than he is. Canada ?? is a very successful nation and because of its economic success it is creating envy and apparently hatred in certain individuals who view the success of Canada ?? as a threat to themselves. The USA now apparently cannot see the value of a strong and stable economy as its near neighbours. Thats why apparently there are some who now want to crash the Canadian economy and when times then 'get tough' the blame and responsibility for this chaos will be accepted by whom. Presidents and Prime Ministers come and go. Once their 'term is over' they simply 'walk away'. World leaders need to be men or women of integrity and honesty who 'do the right thing'. With 'great power' comes 'great responsibility'. You only 'give responsibility' to someone who has the wisdom and expertise and understanding in order to both 'hold' and 'govern' wisely and without fear or favor. Maybe its time for others in positions of authority in other institutions to step in and 'take control'. The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post.
