Starting this trade war is not only the craziest political decision I have seen in my entire life, it destroys the relationship between the US and its closest allies on purpose. A relation that has been built over decades. People and businesses on both sides of the pond will suffer badly from this idiotic agenda for no real reason. The USA is now officially at trade war with the free world.

All those secret phone calls Trump has had with Putin. What the heck have they been talking about? I think they’ve come up with a plan to divide the world between three empires - an American empire, a Russian empire, and a Chinese empire. Trump gave it away when he accused Zelenskyy of potentially starting WW3 if he doesn’t give Russia what it wants. \n\nWe’ve already had several threats from Putin that he’d use nuclear weapons to protect Russia if other countries ally with Ukraine and send their own military to assist Ukrainians. I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. Trudeau is serving the final moments of his last term, but his approval ratings shot up since the Trump presidency started. When you ALREADY have tariffs in place against the US you cannot claim Trump is starting a trade war. You started it. Now we have a POTUS with the sand to stand up for us not the world. Republicans understand that things will get tough. Liberals are already snow flakes that were in a melt down from the day Trump took office. We voted them out. Everyone is forgetting WHY the US has so many bases around the world. The US needed bases in Europe and Canada to easily react to the Cold War they started with Russia after WW2. After that, the US started wars in the Middle East and needed troops nearby on reserve.

To the Americans who are outraged by Trump, you need to stand up and truly fight like the MAGAts did when they stormed the capital on Jan 6th. If you really have a problem with whats going on you need to take a stand and make a difference. If you just sit back then you are allowing it to go on. Agree with Trudeau here, and as a Canadian conservative, that’s not something I say easily. But let’s get real here. Trump is NOT a smart guy. He has cratered most businesses he’s started, he has no understanding of economics whatsoever and he speaks like a five-year old. Conversely, here in Canada and around the world (including many in the US who are voicing heir support here) we have A LOT of smart people and an enormous amount of good will, and we will persevere and overcome. This is sheer STUPIDITY. I have no idea what Trump is trying to accomplish here. What good can come from such policies? Is he trying to start a new Great Depression? Start a Third World War? I see no rational thought put in to this at all.
