Most of the immigrants landing here in Canada are not boosting our economy but just becoming a liability taking the country backward rather than progress. Tye government should stop immigration including refugees, at least for a while. They destroyed the country. You cannot even afford to rent an apartment or even move around for a job. If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society

American here that has extensive relationships in Canada. We don’t want this tariff war but the tariffs being implemented first by the Trump administration on behalf of US were punitive for violating USMCA and tied directly to the border defects. This was made known in advance and you repeated empty promises. Take your medicine and get well fast. Instead of doing that, you are taking an action that will beget reciprocal tariffs. Implement $30B and Trump will add $30B….add another $125B later and Trump will add another $125B. Heads up….America wants good partners and looks forward to being past this as well. In the meantime, we are prepared to pay more (or live with less) as we get back up on our feet. We have a lot of internal healing and cannot carry any other countries right now. What Trump is doing is collecting money from these tariffs, while at the same time bringing certain industries back to the United States. These tariffs will not be permanent but will remain for a certain period to encourage companies to relocate. I was glad that not too long ago... Trump actually did say the truth to the American people: Canada imports 95% of it's goods from the USA... with us refusing to buy American, with all of us buying Canadian or International products instead... how will he be making America great again ?? Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. In our time of need we are getting ghosted but everyone expects America to just to attention when there is a conflict or someone needs money.
