Too many Indians and now due this correct decision by the government, Indians now play the race card to TRY to reverse the decision. I have to say it’s about time Canada does something for its own citizens instead of overpopulating our country with one nationality. I am so tired of hearing good Canadians being afraid to say the truth for fear of being labeled racist when all they are doing is stating facts. As Canadians we should really open our eyes and take a look at how we have failed each other, from the majority of white homeless persons addicted to drugs to tearing down the apartment complexes that born, majority white Canadians live I to build larger complexes for foreigners or parking lots. These are just a couple examples. Indians blame punjabis which is craziness. Let’s stop for a moment and think about who we want to help.. our fellow Canadians or those coming in in droves like ants on sugar

Also from what I hear they’ve misplaced 1, million immigrants in this country apparently and considering United States is 10 times bigger that would be equal to like 10 million. Maybe they were ready for deportation who knows but they never went. They just kind of disappeared. Also there a month away from deporting 70,000 international students that think that just because they went to school here means that they have the right to permanently stay but regardless of that just letting you know that those people are probably gonna try to head south for the border.

To be honest 90% people of Canada would say no more Indians. I hear people complaining all the time. Women saying I don’t feel comfortable around Indian men . Honestly indians work hard and most of them are awesome people. However instead of getting 1.5 million Indians canad should have a cap %. Something like 10%. So let’s say 150 K from India. 100k from china. Bring like 200k from Africa, 200k Latin and central america. 150 K from Europe and so on. Diversify the population

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. I'll admit I could be more educated on this but also why is running to America the solution. Watch our news. They use this for political gain. Year after year this happens and it's always that they changed a law somewhere. I don't know. As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. Now, look at the Chinese. While most young Americans are busy dancing in TikTok and the likes of wasting time for entertainment, most young Chinese are studying hard and upskilling. Let's remember that America became great because of its inventions and extremely the nuclear power. Without great minds, minds that are feebled by drugs and misguided philosophies, a society will crumble. USA can use its weapons and influences against other countries, but can it hold the progress of it's rival economy for the rest of the years? You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. Of course he wasn't able to accomplish his plan before after you guys impeached him. How the hell can a leader complete its plan after being halted unprecedentedly amid his administration? Kamala Harris looks promising but not convincing. Aura, although unquantifiable, do speak something. Choose your leader and it will choose your fate. Let's hear what the two sides will share this upcoming debate. If I'm American, whoever wins that debate, wins my heart. As easy as that. You see, if someone can be defeated so easily in his or her country through debate, do you think that whoever that someone who wins will be able to compete globally? Why are people leaving? BEcause in the last 7 years we made a huge mistake of letting in too many people and spent less time developing ourselves and infrastructure. Way too many came and got seated in the usual big cities where things are getting worse. Right now there is a gradually increasing anti-immigrant sentiment, especially towards East Indians, Bangladeshiis and Pakistanis, and there is a worry about having existing culture turning too Islamic and Hindu. So you can often hear some pretty racist things or read some pretty racist stuff online.\n\nThe problem isn't immigration. Immigrants are amazing and we need them, but our country didn't play the long game and let in too many too fast. Right now esp[ecially for Bangladeshiis and Indians, is that ,many are coming illegally and getting a REFUGEE status, paying their own to do this who work in lawyerships [and you shoudl see the scamming being done by Indian and Bangladeshi Canadians who are just taking their former countrymen for everything they are worth!]: Canada is like a person taking on too much all at once and then resenting its choices once it becomes responsible for them. Between bad decisions and some very seedy practices by immigrants coupled with the general greed to own land....and you have a modern crisis.

I have to say that I am quite apalled to hear fellow Canadians being so openly racist--not to mention just plain ignorant. For any non-Canadians watching, let me assure you that the majority of us do not embrace or abide by these sentiments--we are for the most part a progressive, tolerant people who accept and, in many cases, welcome diversity and inclusion. We are, after all, a nation of immigrants--many of whom have escaped the oppression, injustice and intolerance that plague much of the undeveloped world--in pursuit of a better life. They bring their skills, hard work ethic and adaptability to a country that would wither on the vine without them. So, it's essential that we maintain meaningful and robust annual immigration rates to avoid the fates of countries like Japan, Italy, and South Korea: shrinking nations facing hopeless futures of economic decline and demographic collapse. We also need to maintain our pace with the behemoth to the south, or risk being utterly consumed by it. I hope and pray that most Canadians understand these basic truths--especially the younger ones. \n\nNow, I will admit that with regards to immigration and demographics there are always some logistical and pragmatic challenges that are part of any democratic, pluralistic society--of which we are, generally, a leader. And, sure, our government policies on immigration, employment, education, mental health, and housing need to be fine tuned to improve short and long term outcomes. But to place all of the blame on a single demographic slice of our overall makeup is simplistic, reductivist, dangerous and downright offensive. In a word, it is racist, pure and simple. Is that really who we are, and what we want to be? I hope not.

I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. The Liberals are a royal mess and inflation went through the roof. They’re just running around like the 3 blind mice making fools of themselves. The Conservatives are involving themselves in a right wing romance with fascist trumpianism and think poutine is an ok guy. The hate speech is unreal. We used to be a real chill country. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. I’ve spent 40 yrs in the workforce, and listened to countless people from every continent who told me the truth about why they left their homeland. People who survived WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, communist China, expansionism of the USSR, the caste system and political persecution in India and Bangladesh. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. Our government is useless, prices double and they just act surprised ? They have hearings on why we are being robbed by every single major company in Canada and literally never do a single thing after it’s all just a ruse. These same people own stocks in these companies and just keep doing it. I see your point in coming to the decision to relocate, it makes sense to me. Everyone should be able to have a right to their beliefs. I’m being honest here, what about my rights? My right to have my window open so I can let fresh air come in once in a while. I used to live there for 6 years and it was amazing, Toronto has a special place in my heart I had a great time I met wonderful people and learnt a lot, however, the city has changed in a very bad way which is sad to hear at some point I was seriously considering going back but I suppose I will have to let it go.

The US is a power that has and continues to support Israel and Israel is forcing the Palestinians off their land so if the Saudis are not gonna support a country or work with a country that supports the removal of Palestinians then they need to stop taking American money and stop being the US biggest ally, also idk why you all praise him, talk is cheap and the Arab world hasn’t done much about israel continuing to eat away at the Palestinian state, if SA truly believes that Palestine isn’t going to be forced off the world map then SA should start supporting Palestine, he didn’t even agree to let in refugees..not sure where all the praise is coming from he talks like a politician, he avoided the actual question and says what the people wanna hear despite not making efforts to make that happen.

More to hear complaints coming from immigrants who then left Canada in disgust and found better lives elsewhere is even more astonishing.\n Yet I warn everyone else. It's okay for Canadians to complain about their own country. They have every right. As for immigrants or immigrants who left Canada, well, they were there and experienced the downside, so they have legitimacy.\n But for any other non-Canadian, including me, keep our mouths shut and say nothing. Situation of the attitudes of Visa officers and other officers in China is horrific. You don’t get visa or other certificates even after you submitted all. Just they tell you to apply and take Visa and other fees but later deny it and take 6-8 months To even deny. You feel stuck, and helpless. You don’t raise voice otherwise they will anyways not entertain if you say a word. Many times you feel stuck to be Indian Citizen. I love my country and always fight others for defending it on many issues, but what’s my mistake to suffer and feel stuck just because of being Indian. Why I am not getting simpler documents easily, which is my right. Is democracy a joke? They told to get single status certificate but in India so called IAS officers don’t know about it and throw us out as soon as they hear it. Even before throwing us out they let us come multiple times to their office to just meet them , so that they can throw us out by demeaning the integrity and regret being Indian Citizen.

I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. I will share it with my husband so he can be educated on the matter as well. Thank you for your diligent research and dissemination of important knowledge.

I am much less gracious than you are hearing criticisms about your country. Good for you Tyler. It bothers me when I hear all the criticisms of Manitoba. We have amazing cultural diversity here, beautiful provincial parks, The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Rainbow stage and super friendly people. We honeymooned in Florida forty years ago and we loved it, just to let you know. Sadly, Florida is not the place to visit right now with the current Governor, but I look forward to visiting again another time.

There is also a housing crisis in Canada right now. Africans need to return to Africa ASAP coz everything is about to change and life in the Diaspora will be hell with no heating during winter, no electricity, very expensive food.
