You have to know that the majority of us DO NOT support Trump. Many don’t even believe he honestly won the election. We are disgusted and angry. I call my representatives daily. I’m not sure it makes any difference. I have ceased buying from every company who has given him money. I protest. The republican senators and congressmen are corrupt and traitors. Our Supreme Court is in his pocket. So many of us don’t know how to stop him. He is the devil incarnate!

I'm a Canadian. I am trying to wrap my head around why a President would start a trade war by imposing tariffs that hurt their allies and hurt his own people..!? I am not an economist nor an investor; However I found it interesting that the immediate result of this as they corresponded about this news is how the markets are taking a major dive. If I wanted to make money off the stock market and had no morals and had the power to cause it to crash, I would make sure it crashed hard by imposing tariffs. Then I would invest as many billions in the key stocks that will come back, and watch my billions turn into 10's or 100's of billions...\nThe other possible explanation could simply be that he wants all the critical minerals from Canada, Greenland, Ukraine for nothing. Taking those minerals for free and selling electric cars, miliatary equipment, etc. would be most profitable!\nBut greed seems to know no bounds for those who are wealthy, as long as it's at their gain and not at their expense!

Trump works for the Dictators and the rich. The US government doesnt care about their people at all. Yet they vote it all in. Makes me super sad, because the US citizens are so vulnerable and uncared for. Sure he will paint a different picture. Open your eyes, see what is happening, hear what is happening. The biggest fear that D Trump has is that China becomes as strong as them. He uses Russia as his ally to physically threaten China. It's now time for the rest of the world to show that his plan can backfire. I think Europe and Canada should strengthen their free trade and investments with China (but make sure that they won't physically annex Taiwan). By making China stronger, Trump will finally realize the value of old friends and how dumb his plans were.

Please make sure that what you are saying is all from Trump and NOT ALL the United States! Soooo many Americans do not support that guy!!!

I know a lot of people don't care for Trudeau. I am actually pretty impressed with him, and on his way out, he is showing his strength and intelligence. Putin likely told him to make sure to distance America from its allies, so that he can use the USAs military gizmos to expand his mission to take over Ukraine amd any other country he wants. All this in exchange for making him and his cronies filthy rich. Trump keeps dropping clues about the plan. Elon, created Doge to weaken the economy even further so that the USAs assest are devalued and he can officially the US oligarchy. He's been in talks with Putin, we've seen them together. So now this Trump Gold card, is a way in for more oligarchs from Russia specifically to sweep up the remaining industries at a fraction of what they used to be valued. Then the USA will be the western arm of Putins empire. Since he made sure to obliterate all friendly relationships the US had with the western world, the other countries won't do anything to help the US so as to avoid all out war. Trump will then walk off into the sunset as one of the richest, if not the richest, man on earth.

As an American, I am always feel embarrassed by this current administration both domestic and foreign. I know it’s going to be difficult for most us Americans and to most Canadians as well but, please make sure to give shit administration an ugly lesson which will be difficult to recover in short term.

Donald clearly is ahead of the rest of us in the fight against climate change, understanding as he does that a painful recession will lead to a deep reduction in the production of greenhouse gases as people cut back on their spending. If only we could see it as clearly as he does. Surely he will make his intentions clear by undertaking a farsighted austerity program, limiting his flights to Mar A Lago for golf outings.

I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.

Never once did this gentleman make this conversation about himself or issue any threats towards or against America.
