As an American citizen who has seen through all of Trump's lies, abuses, and racism since the 1980s, I am sadly amazed that so many of my fellow citizens have bought into his transparent disregard for our nation, it's people, and the world at large. My godson's parents, who he loves and respects and helps financially, are undocumented immigrants here in the US for 30 yrs. He lives in a community of undocumented folks. He and his brother voted for Trump. His whole family understands the consequences of so many people being here illegally. They all understand that being here illegally is a way for our government and the elite to use and abuse people much more easily. When you have as large of a percentage of the population who aren't protected by their citizenship and the laws and who can't access the full benefits of citizenship and who are always scared of being caught and will take less pay, people can be used and abused more easily.

Most illegal migrants spend thousands of dollars to commit the crime (entering any sovereign country illegally is simply an invasion). If they dare to enter China or any of the Arab countries this way, then who knows, they would be in heaven or hell rather than back home. All the deportees should be arrested on reaching back home for invading a foreign sovereign country and tarnishing the images of hundreds of millions of citizens of their countries who enter the USA or any other developed democratic country to study at the best of the universities, and after completion of the courses, they are not only provided the best of the jobs but also citizenship or other legal status to stay put in the countries. But these people reach their desired destination after going through rigorous educational and other processes and after a thorough background check. But in the matter of illegal immigrants, how are the victimized countries supposed to know their backgrounds? How can one be sure if they are not hardcore criminals, terrorists, spies, or even trained soldiers of enemy countries? In such uncertainty, how can the invaded countries be sure that an incident or incidents of such a large magnitude might not take place that, in comparison, the incident of 9/11 would look like the small incident of bursting firecrackers?But on one election promise, the president is, unfortunately, taking a complete U-turn that those students who do the master's and other higher studies should be retained and provided legal status to stay in the country as their contributions are needed to give the country the perpetual cutting edge in the highly competitive world and keep the country's status as number one. These scholars are feeling cheated that by spending huge amounts of money and contributing to the research and development during the studies, they have not only been taken for a ride but also become the main target of the deportation campaign as their status is available with the government. On the other hand, millions of undocumented workers are comparatively safe, as tracing and deporting them is not an easily achievable task. Besides, millions of foreign citizens are given entry into the country on flimsy grounds, and many of them do not even ever go to elementary school. I think even God would not be able to make out what the fuck this country has become on this issue. Almost the same is the situation with most of the EU countries, the UK, Australia, and Canada.

Im Canadian with a lot of health issues. Many trips to the ER, the longest I have had to wait, was about 15 mins. And if it was real serious, I was seen by a doctor immediately. I hear people complain about wait time, but the problem we have is that many people take advantage of the ER instead of making an apt with their family Dr. So if it's not an emergency and you go to the E.R. you will wait.

In case anyone is wondering why so many Indians are trying to flee Canada here it is. Under Trudeau and the liberal government Canada was basically giving a free pass to anyone who wants to come to Canada through colleges and universities, if you get into a Canadian school, you can get a study permit (which also allows you to work for 20h a week). Additionally after the schooling you are given a guaranteed work permit for the same duration as the schooling (if you went to school 2 years you get a 2 year permit, 4 years you get a 4 year permit, ect.) A Canada and immigration agencies (for some reason) basically advertised this to India as a guaranteed way to get permanent residence in Canada. Canadians hated the massive flood of people coming into Canada (about a million a year at its peak, which for a smaller country like canada is equivalent to 10 million people coming into the USA every year). This is really unpopular with voters of course (in part because of the housing, food, and low skill work shortages it created), and the next Canadian election is this year. So the conservative government has vowed to massivly decrease the number of immigrants coming into Canada and the Liberal government knowing that this can be used against them in the next election is decreasing the amount of PR cards they are given (like a Canadian green card) as well as the people they are letting in in total. Now as the (mostly Indian) immigrants work permits expire and they will soon be kicked out of the country or no longer legally be allowed to work, they are fleeing to NYC to try to take advantage of the sanctuary city (something that does not exist in Canada).

My issue is the invasion will never completely stop. They will try anything to get back in here. There are so many millions of people who want to come here and they will never stop trying. Deport and they just come back later. Dangerous criminals will always find money to facilitate getting back here. \nWe may need to take a large area of an unpopulated western state and turn it into a prison (and nice neighborhoods for all the employees needed to run everything) for anyone who enters illegally. For instance, in one neighbourhood, a house has been fitted with multiple bunk beds per room, with the owner charging $500 to $700 per bed. One can only imagine how many people live in that house and what it looks like in the summer when everyone gathers in the backyard. \nIf the government fails to regulate immigration to align with the real needs of the economy and housing market, what’s next? May people be forced to rent a bed for just eight hours of sleep or resort to living in sheds or makeshift plastic tents on the streets? \nAnd when the economy takes a downturn, leaving people with no income, what will happen then?

Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! I work in construction and can confirm a lot of the big companies have been exploiting this system to cut costs because they get hand outs from the government to offset the wages of these foreign workers. \n1. We each have our little flickers of time here... No one else will ever know much, if any, of what it is like to be who we are, and for the most part no one will ever really care. Our life is ultimately our life, and so long as we are not harming others in the process we must create a life of our own meaning, determining our own objects of importance and committing to their pursuance. Throughout our life we are faced with serious decisions about what we believe, who we are, and what we do, and mostly none of it is self evident. If we look we can always find a reason to regret any decision we make, move or stay, agree or disagree, take the job or quit, marry or divorce, live one path or another... In all cases whatever the choice may be, we will only know the outcome of the one we take, and none we take will ever ultimately resolve the uncertainty of life. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.
