Many work in low-productivity roles, undercutting wages and relying on welfare despite employment. Canadians are being displaced in their own country. 4. Lazy or substandard work ethic in some cases, prioritizing quick gains over quality. Just look at Tim Horton! This is not the skilled, law-abiding immigration Canada needs. Call to Action: Policy Reforms Now Cap and pause Indian immigration until assimilation metrics improve. End chain migration and fake college scams—require proven contributions before PR/citizenship. Enforce assimilation: Mandate public schools, cultural integration tests, and community service. Protect Canadians first: Prioritize housing, jobs, and services for citizens. I don't care if this is labeled "racist"—the evidence is clear. Indians are not here to build Canada; many are here to overtake it. Canadians have to act before it's too late.

I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. Finally happy to see someone raising voice.

The only problem I see is there are so many Indians.Over 1 billion and as is their right they are creating better opportunities for themselves just like many other nationality.Indians are by and large hardworking good humans.Its not just Canada but all over Europe are receiving thousands.Ireland for example is tiny with a population of 7 million overall and its seeing a big influx of Indians .Irelands indigenous population will be a minority in 30/40 years I’m not just saying its Indians in Ireland but they are a a growing population in many countries

Basically 80% of students from India are a FRAUD in Canada, and 100% of the Indian students in Canada come in Canada to study NOT but to stay in Canada, there are so many Indian students in Canada, that have university degrees but they register themselves into Canadian colleges in order to work and live in Canada. It doesn’t make sense to downgrade your studies, and most probably 100% of the students from Asia in Canada they come here to stay that is the main goal. In fact indian men they get married to some rich girl then the father of the girl pays for the school and then they end up staying in the country and continue their lying and fraud lives in Canada - trust me I know them

Canadians are being accused of racism when addressing immigration to immigrants. They use that word to defuse your point of view and concerns for our country. So ask them.........HOW MANY CANADIANS DO YOU HAVE TO DEPORT BACK INTO CANADA because we're hopping your borders for a better way of life? How much tax dollars does your country spent on sending canadians back to their country? How much federal country money do you give canadian immigrants to start their better way of life? Do canadian immigrant women get to keep their country traditions any way of a canadian life style or are they conformed? .......... Don't be silenced or afraid. Frankly, I don’t blame the Indian people. Most of them seek better opportunities and stability, and their decision to migrate is often driven by economic hardships, political instability, or a lack of educational resources in their homeland. Why would they not accept coming here if they see potential for a brighter future ? Furthermore, they don’t have pathways to citizenship offered by the government; there are no well-defined courses or integration programs designed to help newcomers become fully part of the society. Instead, they are arriving in basically what is a new India. They are welcome with open arms and new rights as Canadians, without the responsibilities that SHOULD go with it. So, the entire culprit is our Canadian government. This situation is part of a much larger, global agenda aimed at sowing division among populations to weaken national unity. The phrase _Divide et Impera_ (Divide and Conquer) highlights this tactic. The Canadian government is orchestrating this strategy, intentionally aligned with the nefarious 2030 agenda. This agenda calls to flood the White Christian Western world with massive immigration, which will erode cultural and national identities. The ultimate goal is to strip nations of their cultural and historical identities, making their populations more dependent on the State to provide a new identity. This dependency is projected to lead to the implementation of digital identification systems, biometric tracking, and other dystopian technological measures. These politicians on both sides are NOT humanists. The overarching aim is not merely human advancement but transhumanism — merging humans with technology — which is pure evil, even demonic, a plan to transform human existence radically. A plot to erase humanity as we know it. This is also the real reason and rationale behind the trans agenda. You can be whatever you want if you identify with it. Now, how about a cyborg, the singularity or what is called humankind 2.0 ? They will try to get it with WW3. The mandates will be said to be good for us, as they will procure a false sense of security in every country on Earth. They need India to go against the Muslim world. Canada has accepted this for the novus ordo seclorum of nations. You probably heard the saying that governments are NOT elected, but selected. That’s true. Our system is an illusion of democracy. They needed these far-left Liberals for these objectives and many others. Then, when it will be too much and order for the chaos, they will count on the far right to go to war. The worst in all of that is that Freemasonry controlled both sides and their political leaders. They play on both sides, as in WW1 and WW2.

Instead of relying on immigration, Canada should focus on innovation — create robots, invest in R&D, and encourage its own population to have more children. Solving the labour shortage domestically is a long-term solution. Bringing in large numbers of people from 3rd world countries won’t fix the real issues — it may even harm the system over time. Speaking as an Indian, I can say that many of our people don’t adapt to the host country’s culture or values; instead, they often bring the same mindset that created problems back home. Look at India — poor infrastructure, declining quality of life, and a government more focused on propaganda than progress. Importing that mentality, even among the so-called “educated,” won’t benefit Canada. Core values and a willingness to evolve matter far more than degrees. Your govt should also stop permit or spending public money on building temples, mosques, or any religious structures. Why do we even need them? Faith is a personal matter — keep your beliefs and celebrations at home. Things starts with these things only.

When government leaders focus on population and economic growth that's usually is a sign that they aren't balancing the budget correctly. They're trying to increase tax revenue without increasing taxes. I'd look closer at government corruption. Overpopulation destroys the environment. Canada is one of the few places on earth that still has an environment. Russia and Australia are the other ones. Russia's strategy is to look sort of like an ogre and it's too cold. Australia's strategy is to look like they harbor too many dangerous animals and the land is too arid. Canada's strategy is to keep higher taxes than the USA and it's too cold. People tend to gravitate toward lower tax and warmer places. Fewer people is better, it doesn't matter what their race is. I did notice the Indians he talked to were patriotic to their adoptive country, that's a good sign. Host nations like when the new people assimilate.

As a Canadian, who was born in South Africa, but have grown up in BC since elementary school, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity this country has given my family. I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

So sorry Brampton. This is awful. Many cities are going through this as well just not to this extreme. our governments sure have destroyed Canada forever. No wonder Countries like Mexico are seeing such Expat growth. Many Canadians moving out of the country.

I'm an immigrant myself, and I brought conservative values to Canada. Why? Because I want to "Conserve" what Canada is, not change it into the third world country I'm from. I try to explain this to many Canadians, but they go with the left. This will implode Canada from within. Even the legal system is being wrecked, you can't touch some immigrants, up to how many minority labels they can slap to themselves. I'll put the message here: study South America History and GET RID OF THE LEFT WHILE YOU CAN. The socialist elite doesn't care, they will live at the top, rich, untouchable, as long as the masses are paying the taxes. It doesn't matter if the country is in disarray. Immigration must have one golden rule: if you want to live like in your home country, you are not welcome and I'll be deported.

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

I feel that the problem is the Trudeau government and the NDP allowed to many immigrants into Canada without doing any background research on their status and now we have a huge influx of criminals from many countries. These people have no interest whatsoever in assimilating into our society, they are only interested in taking advantage of our country and generosity.

Two generations ago (50-60 years ago) the Indians who came to Canada, with no family in Canada had excellent qualifications. They had to come with jobs waiting for them in universities, engineering firms, architectural firms and hospitals. The students were Masters or Ph.D. with full scholarship. They went on to build the country but they were minorities fighting the occasional racism on the street (as the woman in the green t- shirt says). Today, as a result of Trudeau's naïveté about the level of corruption in India, there's a huge influx of relatively unqualified Indians arriving and not being able to assimilate into Canadian society because they do not have good job qualifications. They end up living in ghettos and turn to crime. We must fix that by being much more selective of Indian immigrants. As someone of the Indian diaspora, I'd also like to say that there are those Indo Canadians ("brown folks") who want nothing to do with the Brampton or Surrey ghettos. Many of us are completely secular, having no religion and share nothing with these people fighting around temples and yelling at each other in Punjabi or Hindi. We speak English and French and vote in the elections.

It don't matter how you say it... It's plain and simple. Canada let to many criminals and organized crime members into Canada. This is a small part of how they get into countries and take over countries. Wake up and pay attention to the last 10 years history of England, France, Germany etc concerning immigrants coming in and how it changed their Whole Countries.. All big department stores in London , Ont are now staffed by more than 90 percent with only Indians , where are the previous employees ?? are they laid off , it all happened in just few years , unbelievable !! why no inquiry about replacing all other hard working Canadians and legal immigrants by new arrivals from only one country ,India and who are those workers , most of them are students , many came with fake documents and many many of them have absolutely no intention to finish their education in Canada but to use these loopholes to get into Canada and never leave , India is one of the most corrupt countries in the world ( look at the origin of most of the scam calls ! ), you can get a PHD degree there with money, ( the most scary part is hiring nurses or doctors with maybe fake degrees ) now corruption and loopholes in our immigration system allowed this influx of cheaters while hundred of thousands of Canadians cant find jobs and honest people from everywhere who try to immigrate through the front door face all the difficulties, this is not racism, it is the truth ...

The Canadian government is also at fault! Look at our CBSA… 90% of them are born outside Canada and if they get security clearance in their own country then they are fine to come and work in Canada without Canada looking into it. Many of them can barely speak any English at all. Or French. Our government and the government policies in Canada are a joke.

Here’s how things went off track: Many individuals who couldn’t pass the IELTS (English proficiency test) entered the country on visitor visas or through spousal sponsorships—some of which were questionable or fraudulent. During that time, the government was converting visitor visas into work permits with little to no scrutiny. Background checks and rejections were rare. Meanwhile, colleges rapidly expanded their intake capacity—understandably so, since international students pay three to four times more in tuition. At the same time, due to inflationary pressures, the government allowed international students to work 40 hours per week instead of the previous 20-hour limit. This created a new, ready-to-work labor force in just a year or two, heavily impacting the retail sector. As a result, a large portion of retail jobs shifted toward a single ethnic group, while many Canadian citizens found themselves sidelined. One key factor was flexibility. Many immigrant communities—particularly Indian—were more willing to accept irregular hours and last-minute shifts, often adopting a more compliant, “yes sir” attitude that employers found appealing. However, I’m already beginning to notice changes in the retail landscape, likely due to the government finally tightening immigration rules. Going forward, we don’t need to close our doors—but we do need smarter immigration policies, with proper checks and balances, to ensure fairness and sustainability for everyone.

We don’t feel now living in Canada. It looks India as a result of issuance of too many student visas to one specific country.

Good balanced journalism. It showed the divide not just between those from india and others in Canada but the acceptance and community. There are those that are taking advantage while there are many that are productive and positive members of the community. The one common agreed upon idea is that canadian immigration needs to be tightened up so the posative people can get in and the people who would take advantage of or be criminals are kept outno matter what country they come from.

I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. The most dangerous part is that many of them are working as nurses now. I am a nurse and have been training these people from India. To be honest, it is very a hard and frustrating process cos I have to teach them even the most basic skills like taking a blood pressure or covid swab cos they know nothing. Hospitals are hiring them because they believe their “ lmany” years of nursing experience in India. Then I found out that in their country, nursing is only 3 years compared to 4 years in Canada and they do not require a nursing license to work as nurses in India. They come here, go to review centres to pass the licensure exam. And the College of nurses of Ontario allow this! Nursing is stressful enough and we do not have time to teach English and basis nursing. There are still many Canadian nurses I know looking for a job but they don’t even get an invite for an interview because even the HR department are Indians. In contrast, Canadian senior citizens still have to pay 20-30% of their medication costs and don't get the same privileges when it comes to their essentials. It frustrates me that the government makes our senior citizens suffer at retirement age, even after they've worked so hard for so many years. Yet they still struggle to pay for their own medication and necessities. I've encountered many rude refugees and people on income support from other countries who feel entitled to special treatment just because they are under government programs. I were in Japan and if I saw a group of Canadians arrive expecting Japan to change for them, I would have been severely pissed off with them. Immigration has increased because the government needs more people for the economy. The population 25+ years ago was enough to keep with the costs and demand. Now, Canada probably has a lot of demand and needs an influx of people both for education and jobs. Indians are enticed to come because they hear about towns that cater towards Indians like Brampton. Chinese people used to be the majority of immigrants and that was because Chinatowns would cater to them. Not to mention, these immigrants likely have temporary worker or student visas. These an whole thing with the student visas but I don't want to get into it. So Amazon and other large companies need a lot of workers for their demand and look outside of Canada to fill the job numbers. Meanwhile, Canadians that have been here for awhile are on the streets and jobless. So basically, Canada needs immigration for its demand but I think when too many people come all at once and from usually one country, Canadians will notice the change and feel the tensions that come with it.

I am an immigrant came to Canada in 2014. The immigration system in Canada right now is not let every body in this country, is only allowed low/non skills workers and fraud applications in. I have a friend from China who got a bachelor degree from university of Waterloo and worked at downtown Toronto as a finance person for $500k per year which is extreme high in Canada. But he could not get his permanent resident because he is not what Canada needs as the immigration system. But immigration system is giving lots of pathway on low skills workers who can bring his/her whole families inside the country. These low skills workers need to find employers to do many complicated admin works for the application. In reality, no employers are willing to do such a complicated admin works for a minimum wages worker. So these people are paying the the employers to do the admin works without a single day working. Once they get the permanent residency, they just stay in Canada without working, paying taxes or try to become a Canadian. But for these people who have a high-pay job with high degrees, Canada is kicking them out of this country.

The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques.
