Doesn't matter if a person is an immigrant, what matters is the quality of immigrants Canada permits to come. I am proud most Filipinos immigrate and work and blend in with the society. We try not to be a burden to the government. True too with other nationalities that come over but unfortunately not all.

We've seen a shift in the child care profession in Canada. Most ECE's and student ECE's are from India. It's not going well. There is a different work ethic. And sometimes I've observed that these educators don't understand the policies and how to best support the children so its effecting quality and safety. There was supposed to be a limit on international students. That's not happening. Most of Conestoga colleges student ECE's are international

I love the voices of new immigrants who support Canada but they are not all. Many come just to take advantage. Those are the ones I fear. The ones who plan to take over and spread violence. I find Indian and Chinese are hardworking honest people but there will always be thieves and bad people among every culture. We need to reduce the quanity and increase the quality of the ones we allow here. We need to support our own first.

How can Canadians be suffering so much and vote the people who did it to them right back in office? There is a disconnect between government policy and quality of life in the minds of Canadians. Also, it appears anti-Americanism and Trump hatred is more important than their quality of life.

I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?

They use their community ties and visible minority status to fast-track into positions far beyond their skill or experience levels. Once inside, they bring in more of their own, creating insular hiring circles designed to shield and advance one another, regardless of merit!

Does any one still not know that they are purposely flooding the Nation with no regard for the quality of life for Canadian citizens . They are Blatantly lying to the public about immigration stats . As an emmigrant who came to this country 15 years ago, I am astonished by the lack of knowledge this country has. This reason stands in empty education ( in an irony of life, the canadians call it one of the best on the word), and the belief Canada is a democracy. It is typically a fascist country that makes spurious elections because it is truly run by an establishment hidden as a secret society and in the surface is run as a mafia by small groups of interest ( corporations, professional order, injustice system, and emty shell politicians). The others ( the canadian people) they enjoy democracy 😂, high quality of life( really, just make a visit to a poor european country as Portugal, Greece ). The same goes for education, just oven degrees hot and not edible. Now Canadians learned that immigrant are taking their land and opportunities. You're lied, put under pot, and cheated by your democratic representatives. Try to fight, you'll be in a gulag (minus 15 Celsius only for some day) until the nobel prize candidates of uot and mcgill will put you democratically under tanax.

Who benefits ? Big companies which require a steady supply of low skilled labor . Recruiters , consultants, lawyers all get their cut . No regard for quality … just numbers, and society must deal with the dregs … similar to pollution by greedy corporations.
