Mr. Trudeau spoke, facts, directly and clearly to Trump and his Administration...very proud of how he is taking control of this situation ??

I've never been so proud of you Justin Trudeau! If I could, I'd vote for you today. I think you're the leader we need more than ever. Thank you for everything you've done for us.\n\nI'm scared as hell of what's to come, who will lead us. If the Conservatives gain power I'm afraid we will go the way of the US and its idiot in charge and what will become of the world...\n\nOur next election will matter more than ever. I hope as Canadians we come out in droves and vote for democracy and not sit at home and watch the Right win. I've never voted Liberal before, I've always supported the NDP. Well spoken Mr Trudeau. I am proud to be Canadian. I feel sad for both countries. Can't believe that no judge is declaring the National Security argument as unjustified. I thought this was not possible to impose this without voting it properly if national security is not a real threat under the US constitution... And the argument of trade deficit is such a weird concept. Would Trump agenda be more evil here, and use economic force to force Canada to annex them because they want our resources?

I am European but also a big fan of the US; it is such a shame to see the light of the democracy fading away in a country which was once considered as one of the most consolidated world democracy. As a Canadian, I may not have agreed with everything Trudeau has done in the past 9 years. However he’s handled this American threat with class and dignity and I’m proud of our response. American/Canadian relations will never be the same. After all of this is over, there is a lot of apologies and healing that has to happen before we can even start thinking about rebuilding this relationship.

I come from a long line of Canadian’s, I’m not a fan of Trudeau but I have to say he made me proud today standing up to the school yard bully. I know most Americans don’t support what Trump is doing because as Canadian and Americans we are decent hard working people who don’t need a government that doesn’t speak for the people God bless us all the world needs to find a way for peace our children and grandchildren deserve better.
