Gotta stop that fentanyl that is killing his base in middle America, but Russian ships are OK since he's hoping to have the SS Krasnov commissioned soon.

Please. Canada stop shipping oil , Natural gas and stop selling electricity to the US , sorry enough is enough

Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

I suggest that the Dutch government will shortly decide to ban any export of the most advanced machines of ASML to the US and start shipping them to China. I wonder what that will do to the stock value of NVIDIA and the success of the AI-development programs of the big seven. It will definitely lower the pensions of many Americans. I wonder what they will vote next time!

The problem for both the Canadians and the Mexicans is, that they have a drug addict as a neighbour and an American administration, that blames others for its own misgivings. Compounded of course, by the fact, that there's a lunatic at the helm of the good ship America!!

Thanks to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's leadership, speaking clearly in whole sentences, calling out DJT lies, untruths & fallacies while outlining & correcting w' facts & truths... DJT utilizes deceptiveness to gaslight Americans increasingly less effectively... More Americans are opening their eyes & ears... unfortunately some not... Hopefully soon.\n>> Trudeau calls out Trump aligning America w. PUTIN--Russia, a Dictator, thug & murderer, and displacing historical allies & friends..\n>> Fentanyl is manufactured in China; shipped in bulk to Mexican Cartels, etc, to prep for the American Markets--Why hasn't Trump stopped it now he's in charge of the borders. \nRECALL SYCOPHANTS from Congress--Replace w' patriots to impeach Trump-Vance & prosecute them w/ Musk, DOGE & all who are violating our laws accessing & deconstructing our Govt.

Aha - an adult in the room. That's refreshing! \nWith the slightest inquiry at all, anyone can see the obvious absurdity (the lie) in the premise that this is about drugs crossing the border. \nThis Trump administration really takes us all for fools. \nSorry Canada - Please stand by, many of us are doing our best to turn this sinking ship around.

1% of fentanyl is CAUGHT at the Canada border… Canada DOESNT inspect shipping containers from China
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
Last time I checked, fetanyl comes from China into the US through ocean ports. How about the Trump administration spend more time searching shipping containers for criminal activities.

You follow the money trail of China and Canadian dealings ,an investigative journalist did and found precursor supplies to make fentanyl heavily coming into Canada from China, being assembled in Canada, then shipped to mexico drug cartels from Canada, then entering US across mexican US border....so how is Canada not to blame when RCMP know of drug labs in Canada and turn blind eye as do the politicians, and meanwhile China launders the drug money through real estate and casinos. No one wants to address the elephant in the room. Life is easier while Blind, till it isn't!

I was very disappointed with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. While I have always been pressed by his superior leadership record and skills especially with his spectacular response to the impending tariffs by travelling to UK and Europe and talking about trading with Europe and East Asian countries.\nWhat a disappointment when he called Putin a murderous dictator. Justin, let’s look at the record of your friends in the West. USA has over decades bombed and killed millions of Muslims in Arab countries. Today the murders continue to go one without a peep from you or your western leader friends. In the last week the US has bypassed Congress to ship billions of dollars of bombs to Israel so Israel can with these US bombs cleanse Gaza. So Israel can steal the Palestinian lands so Trump can built a resort and hotels in these stolen Palestinian lands.\nSo what about Ukraine? Same story, different tactic. NATO with your consent poked the Russian bear for decades before Russia, whose warnings about NATO expansion went unheeded. Russia had no choice but to fight a proxy war with Ukraine as US kept on shipping dollars and weapons to Ukraine ‘to weaken Russia’. When you won the election, Justin, I thought that a younger Canadian whose father was one of the most independent thinking leader, that you would take a history lesson and realize that the US foreign policy over decades has been the cause for so much complicity in so many countries around the world. Listen to Jeffrey Sachs and get your thoughts sorted out.\nListen to Ilan Pappe to know how the country you hug and kiss has murdered and stole Palestinian lands for over 7 decades. I have not once heard from you that Israel should be called out.

Canada should permanently end all trade with America. To start with, end all energy exports to the Eastern Seaboard and bring the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate and compete standstill. American shipping and port traffic, all railroad traffic, all airline traffic relies on importing Canadian energy so cut off the supply and brine the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate halt.

All the “I stand with Canada” clowns in the comments are either ignorant or just as weak as Trudeau. You’re standing with a leader who crippled his own economy, pushed insane carbon taxes, and sold out to China now crying because the U.S. won’t play along. News flash: Trudeau doesn’t care about you or Canada, he just needs a scapegoat for his failures. Standing with Canada? More like standing with a sinking ship while cheering on the captain who drilled the holes.

Sorry for America's Citizens i still have a good Opinions of you . Trump is making of America a TITANIC SHIP. How many his own Busineses hat destroyed Trump during his carreier. Before 20 years ago he was nobody, after 4 years he will be nobody.

0:30 I'll make it make sense: Trump is a Russian asset. There are no winners in a trade war, but there's a clear winner looking on from Moscow. On the off chance Trump is NOT a Russian asset, he still could not be behaving like a better one, and that's what matters. Should we be even worrying where the true loyalties of a person are, when they're deliberately sinking the ship?

Revelation 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,\n10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.\n11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:\n12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,\n13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.\n14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.\n15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,\n16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!\n17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,\n18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!\n19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Yay Canada! That’s the right response. I just wish Trudeau could say Trump and his dictator ship administration and not the Americans because half of us here hate that man and completely disagree with his policies.

As a Canadian, I can tell you that I won't be buying anything made in US, product of US or even shipped from the US, even if tariffs were removed tomorrow, I will continue to boycott as long as the orange buffoon is the president.

I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. I am glad that finally this happened cause sometimes you need a slap on face to wake up from a cozy bogus dream. Yes it will be painful few years for Canada but when time will come for fresh water and Arctic resources, it will be payback time to US. Forget US and start shipping products to Europe, China and India. Make pacts and create meaningful relationships and let US do whatever they feel like doing because ultimately Canada is the 2nd biggest landmass in the world, 3rd biggest supply of oil, 5th biggest supply of natural gas, 1st in the world for supply of potash and uranium, If you include Great lakes then it has 4 coasts that can tie them with water so great opportunity to create best ports, 1st in natural source of water and 5th biggest agricultral landmass. Then why bother and put your energy into someone who don't care. Let US do whatever they like and forget about them. Just don't go to US and don't deal with US.

Well Trudeau it seems to me that you feel like pain we are feeling in Haiti even though it is not nearly the same. You sent your ship and helicopter in Haiti on feels pretences that you are going to tackle the gangs theories there; then you played with our emotions ; when you knew full well you were not going to do a danm things. I can tell though we used to hard life. We have been living it since the day the island of Haiti declared her independence.

I support the USA. The tariffs will hurt Canada and Mexico far more than the USA. In 2023 - 76% of Canada's exports were shipped to the US. That is 19% of their total GDP. Mexico exported 78% of its exports to the US, which is 37% of its GDP. US exports to Canada & Mexico combined were only 2.7%. Both countries will need to find other buyers or capitulate. No wonder Trudeau is screaming like a stray dog hit by a rock.

Let's see, make peace at reasonable cost with a man who's war with Ukraine showed the world that they cannot last in war with US on a military vs military bases; and the only option against the US is a nuclear, while Zelenskyy want's to use US as a deterrent against Putin, all while asking the US for billions. On the other hand, Canada, Mexico and Panama are being over ran by chinese businesses. People think this is against Canadians, Mexicans and Panamanians, but these tariffs are against chinese who are manufacturing in these countries and bypassing tariffs already in place by the US. The chinese are manufacturing in Canada and Mexico and placing (made in Canada/Mexico) and shipping those items to the US, while Canada and Mexico do nothing.

Prime Minister, it’s the port of Vanvouver where fentanyl is coming into Canada. Those big cargo ships need to go through customs. Please, get that established.

Maybe he should discuss the constant duty fees and border crossing fees for anything shipped from Canada to the USA that have been constantly rising for years; fees that his very own government sets. Maybe he should talk about Canada demanding that anyone that sells anything foodwise to anyone in Canada from the USA has to have a special Safe Food For Canadians Food License or the goods being shipped will be rejected at the US owners cost, seized by the border and held in storage at the US owners cost, and destroyed and billed to the US owner. A license that no one actually needs considering other legal and ethical controls are in place to prevent unsafe foods from crossing the border, but Canada reserves the right to make us pay for one or we suffer consequences. Maybe he should discuss how they left their borders open to migrants, making it much easier for criminal migrants to get into the US. Maybe he should understand that the US has always been bleeding money to Canada on a trade level for about half a century with it getting much worse in the last decade because Canada's government are greedy. Before any of you come at me, keep in mind I work in the food ingredient industry as an order processing, logistics and customs & border crossing and have done so for 15 years. These tariffs were a long time coming and if any of you are on the inside of trade in the manner I am, then you know what I'm saying is true. The US is constantly paying additional tariffs by way of duty fees, customs fees, certain applied taxes (like there is literally a blueberry tax to ship US grown blueberries into Canada to prevent US blueberries from taking over the Canadian blueberry market). The blueberry tax is about 25cents per lb. which drives the price per lb. up for the seller and buyer. You wanna know why Food costs so much? All of the above with a huge side helping of GREED.

Start checking Canadian ports. The border is just a part of it. Maybe if they up the staff at Canadian ports we can get somewhere with this trade war. That's where a lot of Canadian cars are going after they get stolen they need to check more shipping containers for contraband. That's probably where most fentanyl or precursors are coming in.

Justin have you notised, we share the colours in our flags ??\n - we also have a very strong company with huge ships, if you guys like to share some surplus.\nMaybe we are not in your old hood, though we still live next door after all \n- just look to the sides and shake it off you mind ?

Too little too late Trudeau! Why is Canada still short 2,000 border guards? Why are no railway containers still not checked? Why is still only 1% of shipping containers checked? Why did you leave the borders wide open for nine years, allowing illegal drugs and immigrants to cross over? How many more illegal drug labs are still running in Canada that we don't know about? How much fentanyl is crossing the border into the US from Canada that wasn't caught (only 1% was caught)?

The dt CULT will never accept any wrongdoing or accountability, they are beyond understanding common sense and integrity. It’s alarming to see an entire country that is being “led” by a corrupt, idiot dictator with a cult mentality of followers. Are we just waiting for him to get worse and threaten the world with nuclear weapons or are we going to take effective actions to stop the megalomaniac before we all go down with his ship??? ???♀️

Canada has been the preferred access point for criminals and terrorist for the past 4 years. I have a place right on the border and 8 months ago I caught a young East Indian who already had several felony in the states and had been shipped back to India in previous years. How the heck did that man get a student visa to come to Canada. There are 50,000 East Indian Students missing in Canada who simply used the visa to get into Canada and run the border. This is what we’re are dealing with. I live on the border and I’ve never seen this much traffic. Border guards are simply picking their targets and having to ignore others. So I ask u how do u think I feel about my property being used as an illegal highway bcz of your government incompetence. As someone who also works in native communities throughout Canada I’ll also Trudeau words fall like shit from ass. The drugs have ravaged native communities to the tune of 3/4 of the young ppl. Grandparents are raising the grandchildren and it’s all kept hush hush by the liberal media. They’ve done nothing to stop it bcz it normally boils down to minority groups who they brought in who are making it.

There should be ZERO complaining Mr. Castro Jr. The US tariffs are reciprocated (i.e. you charge us, we charge you). Stop your grandiose play acting and grand standing.\n\nHave you shipped military to Ukraine yet?

putin & donnie plan to coordinate a takeover starting with the US (which donnie has already initiated). Thank you PM Trudeau - you and others please keep standing up to him because our own representatives are cowards who choose power, prestige, privilege and profits over their constituents. donnie has already bowed down to putin. donnie has missed the fact that fentanyl is smuggled in via container ships from china along with mailed packages and trucks from Mexico. Agents can inspect at the borders until the cows come home but smugglers will always come up with new ways to hide contraband. Oh yeah, donnie is NOT a “very smart guy”. The WSJ is wrong on that point. Don’t feed his ego.\nStay strong Canada ❤

Trump and Putin both want and need Canada for the simple reason of the Arctic melts. Ships can now travel that pass. Trump is known, and I'm surprised the media doesn't bring it up, to have financial ties to Russia as an American citizen even well before 2016. What kind of blackmail from Russia would make Trump totally sell out his country.

Yankee doodles forget who they called to land their planes when 9/11 struck and they attacked themselves and people took them into their own homes….the world is going to respond. And maybe next time you can land your planes in the Atlantic instead of on our Rock. \n\nLargest Military on the Planet and you Can’t put out a few flames? LA California Burned to the Ground…But somehow you needed our water bombers and Helicopters? \n\n9/11 Struck and we shipped countless personnel to help and assist and relieve, recover, and rebuild. \nYou went to war with the Wrong Countries and we Went with you anyway. \n\nAmerican Companies Helped the Nazi’s building mass execution chambers and Tattooing machines for labelling. Hell, even going so far as a few years ago to try billing Germany for unpaid products received. \n\nAnd yet we still Ally with them?….\n\nWe are now turning off your Power supply. We Will Match your Tarriffs. \nAnd we will Fight you On or Off the Ice! \n\nOh and we’re putting Tarriffs on Silver. Apparently you Go home with Silver too often.

I'm usually reasonable enough to realize that while I may disagree with many policy decisions, there's usually a relatively coherent line of thought to back said actions up. The problem here is that there’s no clear logic behind using tariffs as a tool to curb fentanyl trafficking or immigration. I'm not going to speak on the issue of immigration at the Canadian border because there simply is none. Yes, there are illegals from Canada, but almost 100% of them are from overstaying visas rather than crossing the border unlawfully. So let's talk about fentanyl. \n\nMost fentanyl in the US originates from China, often in precursor form, and is then processed in Mexico before being smuggled into the states. But it's typically trafficked in small, high potency quantities, often hidden in legitimate shipments or through mail, and only on very rare occasions is it being brought in by individuals crossing the border. It has _never_ been documented to have shipped in as part of large scale commercial imports, so a 25% tariff on legal trade with Canada and Mexico doesn’t directly target the black market supply chain at all.\n\nIf we take Trump’s reasoning at face value, the argument seems to be that he wants to exert economic pressure on Mexico and Canada as a means of having them crack down harder on drug trafficking networks. But the issue is that fentanyl simply isn’t coming in through mass import channels, so all this looks like is a punitive measure without a clear mechanism to actually achieve its stated goal. And the implications? Drastically higher costs for consumers in the US, Canada, and Mexico, with absolutely nothing to show for it.
