As a Canadian, I am proud of our leadership on the tariffs. We are polite people, but we refuse to be bullied. How can Trump treat our country this way when he cozied up to dictators? Well, my siblings who are Americans won't see me for awhile. I have to stand with my country. Proud to be Canadian. We as a country are united against tyrannical behavior.

Not only is Canada united in solidarity against Trump and his trade war, I think that we are seeing right here that Americans, Europeans, and people from every continent, also have a sense of unity and solidarity with us and Mexico and against the bully and dictator who currently is squatting in the White House. \nOrganise. \nMobilise. \nResist.

What I have loved most about the stupidity of Trump, his government and his supporters is that it has brought Europe and the commonwealth together. It’s made citizens of each country unite together at a time that there was so much division especially in Europe. People across the world boycotting the USA to show their, disgust, hit them where it hurts, supporting other business and bolstering our own economies, in doing so also supporting those Americans that did not vote for this. So much good coming from this.

Pull the camera back and look at the big picture. The US has been divided sharply down the middle of the political spectrum. Canada has been crumbling under stupid political and economic decisions. This trade war is uniting the common people both American and Canadian and supportive allies around the world. So, Canada is allowing these people into their country to sneak into our country. They couldn't get to our northern border if Canada didn't accommodate them. Entry into North American countries most be much more restrictive. Does the Canadian officials really think that turning away foreigners that say they are vacationing for two weeks is going to cripple their silly economy? They are telling Canadian border officials that, then they have two weeks to find their way into the United States. Moreover, the buses leaving Canada must meet very high restrictions and more Canadian border agents must be on duty. I'm fed up with my country being a flop house for the world. I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. Mostly at non chain stores. \n\nLegally they are suppose to work on campus but they work off campus and earn and then pay for college. And some send to India they their friends illegally.\n\nThey travel up to 50 miles around to work. \n\nThese students work for cash and work for $7 to $8 per hour or even less.\n\nStore proprietors / owners tell these students if anyone comes for raid they will tell that they are working on voluntary basis and taking salary. So like this millions of students work illegally.\n\nAfter student comes out of college during OPT and stem OPTA they continue to work and approach consulting companies to generate payroll / trainee for no r a son just to give them status. \n\nDuring OPT these employers collect money to pay taxes and generate payroll and keep them to put them to work and maintain their status.\n\nThis does not stop here.\nH1-B workers who come from India on lottery 80% do not have clent jobs but they use back door and show that they have jobs and continue to pay taxes to show on paper that they are still working with a hope that they get jobs in future. And do part time work at restaurants, grocery store etc..\n\nStudents also stay in apartments in groups of 5 to 6 in 2 bed room unit and share and save money actual apartment lease is on only 2 people remaining people stay illegal.\n\nLandlord cooperation is there. \n\nthis situation is causing so much trouble to American citizens.
