You people from XYZ are really like the EU hypocrites that all you got is words. As a Canadian, I hate Trudeau and everything his government has done to the country. I want a PM like Trump that is willing go against the entire system(deep state) and dig out all the dirt even though you're in the way of a lot of powerful people and organizations. Out of all the world leaders today, Trump is the only one with that kind of courage. Compare that to Trudeau—aside from his nice suits and polished public image, what has he actually done to improve the lives of Canadians? \nWe need a DOGE go into WHY WE ARE PAYING SO MUCH TAXES. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. That is not the case anymore and everything is getting worse in the past 10 years.

Canada is pretty cocky right now, but with US pulling back from Ukraine it’s gonna strain EU security and economy which will totally fuk Canada.we can always focus on South America and be ok. Canada will struggle.

Most of the world have had enough of Tramp, there is a lot of people around the world who will refuse to purchase American goods from now on and the diplomatic fallout will last for a couple of terms. Tramp will probably move to put tariffs on goods from the EU and their retaliatory tariffs will result in a 25% increase in the price of everyday products that the American public purchase. If tariffs are imposed on the EU that will mean at least 70% of American goods will have tariffs on them. Tramps next book will be, how to crash an economy within two months of taking office, so much for the art of the deal! This is a really pointless interneine trade war and the collaborator in chief getting cosy with Russia is another example of Tramps deranged priorities.

These tariffs are not about policy differences. They appear to be personal. Trump is settling scores. I was thinking after how trump went to town on Zelensky, which was disgusting.\nWhy give the US access to minerals in Ukraine, disconnect from USA and do the deal with EU nations.

I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. We look like liars and cheats. \nEven with Mexico we threatened tariffs if they didn't help with crackdown on illegal immigration, fetanyl, and drug cartels. Mexico complied and is also helping us. And we still slapped tariffs on them. We lied to Mexico too. \nAnd now we want everyone to trust us to negotiate a peaceful end to the Ukraine war with Trump threatening more sanctions on China and the EU. What the heck should they trust us and believe us after what we just did. \nWhen it comes to defining your character your willingness to keep your word overrules absolutely everything else. Our president gave his word that if these countries took certain actions there would be no tariffs. They did and now he slapped them both in the face with sanctions anyway. He broke his word. This is a dishonorable action. I hope it does not escalate from there. \nIf it was about promoting or building domestic industries, I think the Canadians could have helped us with that but now.... good luck now that bridge has been burned.
