Look at our CBSA… 90% of them are born outside Canada and if they get security clearance in their own country then they are fine to come and work in Canada without Canada looking into it. Many of them can barely speak any English at all. Or French. Our government and the government policies in Canada are a joke.

Having lived in brampton as an immigrant i can personally say that it is no longer a Canadian city. No one speaks English or french, no one dresses western, no one knows the canadian national anthem and every one carries and indian or Pakistan flag....

I live in Brampton, i am all for diversity but where is the diversity if everyone is Indian. I am French originally and i am in a minority of one! Let's be clear, the massive Indian increase in the population is due to Trudeau's immigration policy, the indians did not jump over the border as some of the comments suggest, they mostly came here legally, and this was done without broad agreement of the Canadian population as a whole. Canadian population went from being 30 million inhabitants to 40 millions in just over a decade, a massive population increase in a short time due mostly to Indian immigration with huge impact on housing , cost of housing, infrastructure, jobs, taxes, etc... The liberals have a lot to answer for the disaster which Canada has become in the last 10 years and yes they got rid off Trudeau, but they are still in power, stiffling the potential economic growth of Canada which should be a rich country instead of being a country where many people live from pay cheques to pay cheques.

I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.

"You can take a man out of the village, but you cannot get the village out of a man". Immigration, in particular of India, as alluded in this video, is not a/the problem per se. After all, more than 50% of Canada is immigrants, if you don't want to consider French and English colonizers immigrants, too. The real problem is when Indian immigrants, and truly any immigrants, DO NOT WANT TO ASSIMILATE and/or do not any effort in doing it.

The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.

It's not really a racial thing, but assimilation. The same complaint goes towards Ukrainians and Russians who refuse to learn to communicate in English or French.

I think Quebec should absorb all of Canada and just make them all speak French. Easy day.

I just came back from Calgary Canada. They have a big African community and Indian community there. I don’t even know why they have French as their second language everywhere there anymore.

The issue with Canada is that, when Europeans came here, they didn't integrate with native Indians, didn't accept their traditions/lanuages but brought their own European culture/traditions and languages and named it as a Canadian Culture. The reason why Europenas were able to take over the whole Canada and impose English and French language is that European culture was strong, then brown/black/asian people are moved to Canada and they are brought their own culture/languages, but the brown culture really stood up and sustained because their culture was strong like europeans and more of them are still coming. the history is repeating itself because of politicians in power. People on the both sides are not willing to listen the other side, for example, citizens think that international students are creating the a here, doing cash jobs but they don't see that this coutntry that charged them $9k/term tution fees can't even provide them a job forcing them to work illigally and commit crimes, and on the other side Internation students think that citizens hate us because they are brown but big NO citizens are frustrated because they have no jobs and immigrants are not integrating themselves among other communities. Higher unemployment = higher crime = more = higher division among people, ALL THIS IS HAPPENING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS ALLOWING.

I agree with you to the extent of your understanding of Canadian culture. However, immigrants to Canada should be aware that the First Nations and indigenous people of Canada often have to seek a better life in other countries because colonizers and their descendants show no regard for treaty rights and have disenfranchised First Nations. The government hides the facts about the plight of indigenous Canadians and lie to Canadian immigrants and citizens, always to divide and conquer. Immigrants often don't realize that most indigenous Canadians are living in worse conditions than what the immigrants themselves came from, and few live as comfortably as white Canadians. When white people talk about how hard they have it because of immigrants, they should think about what First Nations have to deal with everyday because of them. Maternity benefits for 3 years. * Culture is freedom of choice on one hand and it should be practiced in private places or in closed boundaries. There should not be any national culture or majority culture. All should respect each other and don't try to impose anything to others. So no public display or disturbances by culture issues. * Omitting bilingual system of English French. It's very stupidity. In office or workplaces ONLY English Please. Quebec only French. Not both. Government language only English. In private places you speak anything but outside only English. It could be broken English but English. It's important. I came to Canada 20 yrs ago as a skilled worker. Brought a lot of money , pass ielts with 8.5 bands even learn French . I was a software engineer . Got a job paid all taxes here . Learn and respect Canadian culture adopt it . Upgrade my education to masters in AI . Now I can’t get a job coz Indian support Indian . And Pakistani prefer Canadian over Pakistani . No job on merit and skill ? Found out many dumb ppl got job even they are not citizens ? How come ? Coz they have reference ? I came to Canada for my kids better future now Canada is being taken over by one culture and I really don’t like this . Crimes are increasing , schools are over crowded , health system is exhausted . I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. If these were French people like my heritage is, I would be even more pissed because I could say something without being called a racist. These immigrants are coming here with one goal retribution against the English Empire for the past or some shit, I dont know, and they're taking it out on us Canadians. over 5 years I've collected proof so I feel very safe coming out now and talking about this because I have everything to back it up. Those single homes I was talking about half of them burned down and they use insurance fraud money add multiple loopholes to use government money along the way as well, that's damn taxpayer money building parts of these homes... I'm a concrete worker they do not let these walls set properly, they don't seal the windows and doors properly, everything's going to leak but because they only rent to people from their home country after 3 years they can take their name off the property and nobody and I mean nobody is going to report leaks because they have a tyrannical control over who they rent to.... I dont even need to name the group because its OBVIOUS, living in the same city most ky life I've seen a drastic change, and this isnt intregation like my family did as they we're the members of french part of the metis tribe long ago. 5 years in a row they have added an average of 70,000 people legally to the city I live in I live in of 1.4 million people that is absolutely absurd the train system is packed all the way until 1:00 a.m.... it's just simple economics you can't add that many people and have a sustainable City.... these idiots never played sim city or some shit Also there are millions that came pretending to get spots in our universities and didn't show up, and these are the same people that are buying up all the businesses and houses and only letting the people from their own country be involved that is not integration....... Those people aren't Canadian. They're different nationalities who are "fleeing" their war torn countries that are coming to take over Canada. Canada used to be a wonderful place. I am disgusted by what Canada has become. The government has allowed a free for all to take place without checks and balances for their own profit…whether it’s votes for political mileage, money that is being invested by certain people groups that will help enrich the pockets of government or whatever the reason - has caused this country to descend to the dumps st a rate faster than it takes to say ‘Oh Canada’. As an immigrant, I have seen the degeneration within the country (particularly Toronto & GTA) in 10 years. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a different country, with a different language other than English or French, individuals who refuse to adopt the traditional Canadian lifestyle, who are allowed in with little value for system and order, allowed to procreate and ‘raise’ children who don’t appreciate the Canadian values, both born and immigrants using crime as their currency to their warped perception of wealth and an whole history of issues that impact the lives of the average law and culturally abiding citizen. Oh there’s so much more that can be said about the state of this nation, but if there are bold-faced chants about who will be ruling Canada by 2060, those that have the power to do something need to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION. That is not just wishful thinking. That is a threat that will come to pass if a blind eye and a deaf ear is turned which, the government seems bent on doing. A word to the wise is sufficient.

Time to correct the problem. No more immigrants coming in and shipping the ones here back to their homes. The ones here don't even have the brains to speak French or English. i have no hopes, i work every week, every day for years...and at end of each month i still do not have some reserve for myself...i am surviving, NOT living, i am working to make happy others, i am working to pay bills, rent, cards, studies, and yeah to buy some food to continue to work to make happy others. Economic of this country is going in the toilet...we can't live decent anymore and hope to make true the dream of having a house or a car. And also, if you come in Quebec to work, there is no excuse to not learn french, QC government offer FREE classes, you pay nothing, just apply and go there and learn french and integrate in society. My daughter is a fully qualified for graphic Designer and yet (with thousands of $$$in student debt) cannot find a job. She actually put in her resume with an Indian name as well as in her own name. Guess which resume had a call for an interview, yes - the one with the Indian name. This is insane. I require personal health-care at home and i REFUSE TO have my Canadian worker be replaced with an immigrant from Kenya. Sorry but the Canadian worker has been here for 5 generations and then suddenly she's going to lose her house because of this situation with immigrants. We are all immigrants other than the indigenous and Inuit. My father’s family can be traced back to 1538. He is French Canadian and native. My mom was an Irish American from Cleveland Ohio. This country has changed so much. I am at a loss. We need to speak out our opinions. I have lived here all over Canada, all my life. Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. We need English competency tests immigrants (and possibly a French as well). Many immigrants speak broken basic English and have difficulty with even intermediate English skills. If I wanted to move to Italy, I should be able to speak a certain standard of Italian.

You talk about the French Language??? Ottawa is a ENGLISH province. The French language was implemented by Trudeaus dad when it was English only and Quebec wanted to separate. The French people take up our government jobs in Ottawa and leave the lower paying jobs to other non speaking French. Go to Quebec they have NO ENGLISH SIGNS, but come to Ottawa making sure they are entitled!. Im sick of the language barrier its discrimination and take the free riders from other countries with you.

Canada Immigration is laughable, am a legal immigrant, but we South Africans , could not bring our families to Canada! But Pakistani, East Indian families could come over, with out speaking English or French!!! Wake up Canada, soon you will be minority!!!!

I was born in Canada, But Our Family migrated to the USA when I was 2 years old in 1976 we adapted to the USA culture. I grew up on US values. US laws, US living. Our Family moved back in Canada in 1997 to Nova Scotia. We then adapted back to the Canadian culture. Mother and Father taught us to always support the country you live in. Adapt to it's culture and rules. I live in Quebec now in Montreal been here since 2018. I'm always learning french here and there but speak mostly english. But I support the french language. Some days on the weekend though downtown when I see all the immigrants praying in the streets I am starting to miss the USA though. But I do not process an Green Card anymore.
