Dont you all realize that what we are doign is equalling the percentage as they do to us , yes everyone has there opinions but the fact that we as a country goes and helps other countries but when we have a president that really cares, and bet none of you do your studys on these issues, see you all go day by day with out a clue on whats going on , its ok for other countries to take advantage of us and hurt us but its ok right its ok for countrys to hurt us as thte same for democratic leftys its ok to hurt us, i say hell no its not ok , for once in are life we need to help the Americans period , grow up people seriously grow up , trump is doing what should have been done a long time ago , biden did to much damage to much

Trudeau may have become unpopular but witnessing this man stand for his country, stand for democracy I can only think of cloning him. This is the kind of man or politician that America needs right now. Sadly, most of our politicians are spineless flip-flopping with their principles and what they are supposed to represent and serve for not to the man in the oval office.

As a Canadian who has lived my whole life here, in my opinion there were two major factors that need to be highlighted that started this mess: fiscal policy and focus on fringe politics. First, Canada came out of the 2008 meltdown relatively unscathed due to following a markedly different strategic path than other major countries, namely tight banking regulations as well as 15 years of paying down the national debt. However, several years after 2008, sentiment shifted to adopting the same MMT-led fiscal policies as other nations: lower interest rates and deficit spending. Secondly, at least 10 years ago, there was a major political shift to start emphasizing fringe social issues (climate, race-based, gender, etc.) instead of standard issues such as the economy or military to name two, and it was strongly evident in academia and in the media. The result was little governmental, public or media attention being paid to core economic concerns such as the massive growing government and consumer debt levels, highly inflationary housing market, or decreasing productivity. When COVID hit, the government further doubled the existing federal debt and when they found that unsustainable, opened the doors to massive immigration levels to bring the Debt-per-Capita ratio down which while helping in that one metric, has further inflated the housing market all while forcing wages down. We now have unsustainable public debt levels, unaffordable housing, decreasing wages, decreasing productivity, and a troubling reactionary political swing towards extremist right-wing ideologies. Top that off with the US administration seeing Canada is on an economic precipice and threatening to take the country over, there couldn't be a more perfect storm.

If my country doesn't get housing costs under control they're in serious trouble. The average house in the town I live in is something like 900K and there's basically no local economy. With costs so high I can't afford to start a family. If we keep gaining old folks needing healthcare while keeping housing expenses high and wages low taxes will have to keep going up.\n\nI am not going to continue to pay huge portions of my income for the benefit of the elderly while I can't afford a decent lifestyle. I don't want to but it seems moving to the US or elsewhere is the only option if things continue this way. At list point the local governments are so invested in denying housing permits and abusing zoning laws to prevent housing being built that the only way to fix it would be to strip the provinces and cities of the right to decide their own zoning bylaws. \n\nI want to see a change in the constitution that makes zoning bylaws illegal. There are too many people thinking of their self interest and not of the Nations interest. We deserve to lose the right to decide what can be built in our neighborhoods. We have been abusing this right for too long

As someone living in Canada... I actually don't feel much of the things mentioned in the video. Sure, wages are not growing as fast as it can, but as someone who managed to purchase a home *before* the bubble started to expand, I'm living steady right now.\n\nWhat is REALLY causing a large part of the social and economic issues is actually the fact that provinces are NOT expanding new towns and cities in the millions of kilometers that needs to grow. Everyone is moving into cities, including refugees and new immigrants, which is driving up local prices and demand for everything. A few years ago, there were literally news of townships outside of the major cities offering houses and land for $50 per acre if people move to those towns and live there. \n\nCanada's biggest (heh) advantage is how much land it has. It's biggest weakness is how little comparative population it has. The worst problem is the concentration of population in like 6 keys cities throughout the entire country. If more people who complain about housing or social issues were willing to move outside of the major cities, they wouldn't have those problems.

As a Canadian..i'll say this. Our country is a bad shape right now...and the countless 'extra' people, mostly indians, are not helping. We need immigration. I am not against it. But I am against illegal migration and resource sucking. There is no legit vetting process anymore. Countless indians are being given visas that were granted on bogus claims on their documents. Fake education records...fake employement records. Then they get their visa...and don't go 'home' when it expires. Then they have what indians like to call 'anchor babies'....so that their baby has Canadian citizenship and then they hope that pity will be taken and they, the parents, won't be shipped home. They don't assimilate and totally disregard our way of life. It is appauling.

Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! If they're in agreement with this insanity & rebellion then cut this state off from all federal funding and let New Yorkers pay for these illegals all by themselves. I don't want my tax dollars paying for any illegals. Especially when there are so many Americans living on the streets and/or not even getting by with this failed & fraudulent economy the Democrat Party has given us. Democrat voters aren't being kind and compassionate by wanting them here. They are enabling these people and by doing so, preventing them from growing up and raising their consciousness into a higher state of mind. By wanting to protect criminals, pedophiles, rapists, murderers, thieves, violence and rebellion from being deported, they're displaying for America they're psychology/consciousness of a death wish. This is a psychology of death and failure!!! The Democrat politicians and voters didn't vote for President Trump's agenda but the vast majority of We the People most certainly did. Chuck Shumer, Maxine Waters, all Democrat politicians and Democrat voters, YES, WE DID AND WE WON THE BATTLE!!! \n\nThese illegals are not weak and needing help. They're now uniting, protesting and waving their country's flag against their deportation, which they absolutely have no rights in America to do so. They have no rights here!!! That takes gall, audacity showing their rebellion against American voters and an unreality in their third world psychology to believe they do. We have been forced to deal with this abusive, violent third world psychology for far too long. They have a strong willpower so return to their country, unite there, raise their flags there and rebel against their corrupt government! They don't belong here as they don't have America's vibration. They just continue demanding and taking America by violent force. They are using and abusing tax payers' money and their goal of turning America into their violent third world hellishness must stop now! When they want to become part of America, get in line and make application in our legal immigration program. These illegals do not rate higher than those who are coming here legally!!!

The progressives need to find a different country to live in. Their hope is to destroy America. American citizens need to pushback and stand for things that are right and good for all. Illegals do not have a right to be here and take our resources for free. Follow the federal laws of the land. Those harboring illegals will be arrested and put in jail. It is the law.

I very much appreciate your reporting of the seeming cognitive dissonance of the pro immigration stance of activists which is the general narrative nationally, in mainstream media, and even the Trump Administration BUT the elixir to break the spell of the cognitive dissonance is to call this whole situation EXACTLY what it is: the anti-Constitutional Republic of America / pro-socialist march towards communism. Here is a great irony. Cmdr. Shilling has served in the Navy for the last 20 years with honor and pride of country. I cannot see why the idiots in DC are making a big issue of her gender change. Does the fact that she is transgender make her any less of an officer and a pilot? And yet, President Trump (who never served one day in the military) feels that he is right in saying that transgender troops need to be medically discharged from active duty. My husband serve this country in total of 30 years in the Marine Corps and he shared to me about a gay in the military that suddenly grab his butt and punch him right away and complain about this situation happening in the military. We are pulling the economic weight in this country and we are tired of pulling the weight of those that do not contribute.\n\n2. If you haven't already, get a job. Every business in the country is hiring. And you get paid for the work you do. And the harder you work and the more you learn, the faster you will advance, and the more you will earn. Until our own poor citizens have been given sufficient amounts for food. Some elderly US people get $23 in SNAP monthly and are expected to eat and survive on that, while illegals are handed cards with $800 on them to eat with. How is that ever ok? \nSome of us are existing on like $600 per month, we have veterans living on the streets. These things must change before we can help anyone else. I am not unsympathetic to your cause, but I see too many struggling citizens right now that I have to care about first.

Why do those of us on the political left keep allowing those on the political right to dictate the terms of public conversations, even when we have the facts on our side? It is estimated that 1.7% of the world population is biologically intersex. That's roughly the same as the percentage of the world population that is naturally redheaded. Trump's executive order states that the US government only recognizes two biological sexes.  This means that as far as the US government is concerned, biologically intersex people don't exist. This is analogous to having an executive order saying redheads do not exist.  It's nonsense.  So, why aren't biologists from all over the country pointing this out? The percentage of the world population that identifies as transgender is at most 0.6%.  So why are we talking about transgender people when there is a larger group of people that Trump's executive order discriminates against?  Here's why: because folks on the left insist on allowing those on the right to set the terms of almost every debate we have in this country and folks on the right are happy to ignore intersex people (whose existence conclusively establish that their views are false) and those of us on the left stupidly follow their example in doing so. If we are serious about protecting trans people, we need to be smart about this. Let us reframe the public debate to focus on intersex people.  This will make exposing the lunacy of Trump's executive order much easier when engaging a general public that is too ignorant, lazy, and indifferent to educate themselves about trans people. So, let's help out the lazy ignorant masses by adopting a simpler (and more science-based) approach to the debate over whether there are two biological sexes by making the simple, scientifically sound observation that biological sex is bimodal, not a binary.  And not amount of executive orders can ever change that fact.

Our horizons and take a look at the situation at hand and not be objective. Be like the men of old and what they were put on this Earth to do is solve problems. There is no excuse for anyone to come here illegally and stay. Knee surgery comparison is a poor comparison. You chose self inflicted medical down time. The individual requiring knee surgery did not. You took down time because changing your gender identity was something you felt you needed, which isn't putting the service of your country first. I don't choose myself over my people - period. Further more, the reporter - she just looks like an angry woman who isn't getting what she wants. She doesn't appear to be unbiased at all. It's not a good reflection for the CNN. I think fair reporting is fair, I also believe one should come across as unbiased when reporting fairly, here the reporter has failed to do so in my opinion. Out

Hmmm and people still don’t see how this is getting to be a serious problem. They’re literally rushing in. Instead of taking the time to fix what they have they’re running in EXPECTING things. They don’t think they have to wait their turn! This is what open borders do. They lead to a serious crisis and entitlement. I don’t think I have the right to do that anywhere else. Not to mention we don’t have enough to take care of what we have right now. LA doesn’t have enough water to sustain what they have but they think it’s a great idea to open California and let as many in. What you’re going to do is crumble this country. One nation can only sustain so much. The president of Columbia didn’t want his own people back. That should tell you something. Yet American media is telling us these people are vital to our economy. If they’re so vital and followed by dollar signs, why doesn’t Columbia want their own people?? Aren’t they needed to build the economy there? Wake up people. This is a serious issue. We can’t save the whole world, we simply don’t have the means. If we stay this route what will happen is we will end up in the same spot that Mexico is. You have to teach them to build properly not bring it all here. That isn’t a fix all. Once we have enough gang members, drug cartels and murders from all the other countries, we’ll become those countries, while they’ll have it good because they purged all their criminals to us. They don’t want them back, yet we’re begging them to bring their problems to us! It’s time to take this serious and worry about our own.

I hear a man say you can take 100 evil people and make millions fall in line and do what they say because they fear what the evil people can do. Good! America needs to start taking care of its it's people FIRST, we have citizens of all races and religious backgrounds and they matter! We can only do so much and it has to be done the right way! We cant open borders and continue to destroy our country!!!

Unfortunately, have to agree with the fact that some Indians have exploited the visa process and made it a mess for the remaining well intentioned legal residents. Lack of proper manners, over staying, misusing the privilege, list goes on. Please understand: we need to follow rules. We are a law abiding country. Not everything is perfect, neither in India or anywhere. That does not give you the right to break rules blatantly. We don't want illegal immigrants, why would some other country want that. don’t judge too much. I’m not saying this is good for anyone that is living in ????. we already have a very bad housing crisis etc happening . but i definitely understand why they come.i have great empathy for them .. i feel horrible for them. these people aren’t lining up for black Friday deals or Taylor Swift tickets. these human beings are living in poverty, in danger in their own home countries. They want better for their children!! i’d actually question why they didn’t try for better (not actually, i have no right to judge them ..the lack of $ and danger would make most adults question if it’s the right thing to do). \nwe really need to remember...we aren’t special as human beings. we don’t deserve to live here more then they do. Our families just happen to cross the ocean(we weren’t even from the same land, like most of them, they want to cross a boarder that WE created) in the right decade, right century!! \nwe all came here and took from others. when we bought our land, built our homes, etc if you think back really it didn’t belong to them to sell it to us. It was stollen lands from the Native Americans. And we did such horrible things to natives for centuries!! we TOOK TOOK TOOK while nothing but destruction was given to them in return They are the REAL AMERICANS!!! \nAnd we killed them, we destroyed their communities, separated families, brought and spread diseases that killed thousands, kicked them off of their lands to go to areas we knew they couldn’t thrive, then we took their rights to hold & spend their own money, then stole that money that was to help them set up communities crops food and left them for dead !! we stole their babies from their mothers and fathers and we did this as recently as 50 years ago. \nso remember the day the first white man stepped on North American land was the last day we could say this was the land of the free !! \n\nwe have taken taken and taken from the ? fkd the world over.\nRemember..Americans are the reason south America has the dangerous gangs, cartels poverty,corruption,deaths we buy 40% of all drugs made there just one country buys 40%!! but why change things...when our leaders are benefiting hugely from the chaos. who cares about Mexican, South America families Just get them off our doorsteps ..right. ?\njust don’t think we aren’t Next !! ????

Range of responses here is just astonishing. The basic fact is that no one gives a shit about Indians especially Western countries. They'll stay racist as long as it suits them. And the thing about indians misbehaving, that is just contextual. That's not part of the larger problem. Larger problem is the government itself-if it cares enough for its people then it needs to do right by them.
