Has it ever occurred to all the right wingers in the comments that the laws governing Canada's treatment of refugees are pretty standard and comparable to the rest of the civilized world? That they exist EXACTLY for people like this man? Or do you just have a complete hate-on for anyone who isn't white? ?

That lady is the Villian in India now, most hated Woman in India.....most of the people who are commenting against Indians are themselves immigrants....

Imagine if the roles were reversed and Mr. Singh didn't pay rent, I'm sure y'all would flood the comments section w hate/racist comments. (Not commenting on the tenant's identity but simply commenting how people always hate on Punjabi community specifically even though crime has no common background).

Despite the divisive headline of this video and the comments, it seems like all the people interviewed in the video are roughly on the same page. No one hates all immigrants, they are all just worried about the scale and pace of immigration overwhelming infrastructure.

After watching your video u have some point. But since 2020 Canada donated to much money to Ukraine and also getting immigrants. Maybe you don’t know but Canada give the free visa to them and paying for the hotels. I also want to mention that Canada is not exporting much to other countries if you check you going to find out more. All the companies you showed they are in USA Canada don’t have them so. Even USA doesn’t import from Canada. I live in Winnipeg government people are tired of native here just go to downtown you will see everything ?. This self righteous creator is just spewing alt-right talking points. The comments in here will give him a hug because YouTube comments always skew that way. Many people take advantage of immigration and the immigrants. This creator had a very anti Punjabi bias which is false. I am a Punjabi Canadian who has lived in Canada for generations, my large family helped build the region I live in from the ground up. This first-generation Australian doesn't know what he's talking about and is just jumping on the hate train.

People who run out of visa should leave, sure, but it's basic human instinct to try and stick to the better place. Also, if you don't bring value to the country, you will be the first victim of deportation. If you had a valuable skill or strong academic accolades you would not be kicked out, but because you don't, you are getting kicked out, which is more than fair when a country cannot house you without hurting its own population. I think it is government's fault for bringing people here, so we should point our anger correctly. These comment section filled with Anti-Indian Hate. \nCanadian Immigration system is a Point Based System which means who ever have higher points will be awarded the Green Card or Work Permit. \nIndians are super competitive when it comes to immigration ? with their Levels of English, Education, Social support from society, French skills and Employment in High skills and young pool of people. Indians beat everyone. Meanwhile, Chinese ?? Language is WRITTEN all over on Vancouver Airport with Canadian ?? Tax money ? and Vancouver being Chinese island now. No one talks about. I hate that all indians get a bad image because of this. Most come just for opportunity, gujarati, people from Mumbai, and some honest punjabi's. Gosh the hate and xenophobia against Indians in the comments is appalling. I agree the level of immigration is bad and government is letting it run out of hand. I also agree that many of these Indian students aren’t fit for a Canadian life and integration and a lot many folks from India are gaming the system but the Canadian government is not doing anything and it’s a big problem. But it’s sad that Canadians are hating on all Indians.

As an Indian (not living in Canada), I want to beg Canadians to stop calling them Indians. Most of them are from just 1 region of India. Don't know why you are interested in people from this 1 region only instead of providing visas to diverse group of Indians. Secondly, as you have seen recently, most of these people are anti-India and hate India and want their home region to get separated from India even if they are not living in India, they want to comment on India's sovereignty. Many of these students were sold a bill of goods by various people who promised more than they should have. As our PM has stated students coming over has not been the issue, but having temporary workers come over has been. What had been traditionally 2% has been 7% plus. This is what needs to be reduced, but in most of these cases no one wants to do the jobs they have, such as fruit picking. I find some of the comments here as being offensive, don't need more Tim Horton workers. A number of these individuals are here for PR first and schooling second, this needs to tighten up. I recently watched another one by True North about the poor state of the Canadian military and agreed with it 99%.\n\nBut this just seems like pandering to petty divisions and bigotry.\n\nI’m no SJW and agree there are legitimate reasons to question immigration and related policies. I don’t just expect we hold hands and all get along suddenly.\n\nBut honestly this wasn’t a fact based, objective analysis of the issues. It was pointing out statistics of demographic imbalances (with blatant graphics) and suggesting that on its own was bad. \n\nIt was asking non-East Indian people and East Indian people what they thought about these issues. The questions were loaded and leading and the answers were cherry picked, especially regarding the East Indian peoples’ responses.\n\nAs an attempt to get likes, attention and comments this, like countless divisive crap from both extremes, was a success. Hello everyone, \n \nAs a 55 year old white Canadian male (born and raised), I wanted to take a moment to address some of the anti-immigration sentiment I've seen in the comments section. \n \nI just want to say how much I love and appreciate the diversity that immigrants bring to our country. I truly believe that Canada is made stronger by the contributions of new Canadians from all walks of life. \n \nOn a personal note, I am so grateful for the love and acceptance that my daughter's partner from India has brought into our family. Their relationship has taught me so much about different cultures and traditions. Love knows no boundaries and I am proud to support their relationship wholeheartedly. \n \nSo to anyone spreading hate or negativity towards immigrants, I urge you to open your heart and mind. There is substantial lesson here for pseudo patriotic Indians. They strongly display hate for any real or perceived slight to India. If there are some illegal Bangladeshis, every one gets on social media and denegrates whole of Bangladesh. If there is political disagreement with Maldivians, entirely boycott all things Maldive, stop food export to them and spew unvarnished hate on social media. I hate to disagree to most comments on this Video. Canada is still one of the best countries to live, work and raise your family. As a pakistani immigrant myself, having lived in Dubai, Saudi, and UK, I still find Canada easily the best overall.\n\nWhen it comes to hardships, yes you must have a positive mindset to survive in Canada but ofcourse you pay the price of living your Canadian dream. \n\nIf you are a couple with a household income of 10K take home, you can still live an extremely good life in Canada. I think that a lot of people who seem to hate Canada in this comment section are either from Toronto and Vancouver, the two most expensive cities in the country, but these two cities don't represent Canada as a whole. \n\nPersonally I live in a smaller city in Québec (Saguenay) and life quality is super good, there are a lot of job opportunities and housing is very cheap, and it is an amazing place for outdoor lovers\n\nI saw many comments saying that the US is cheaper than Canada... Those people simply don't compare what's comparable. If you compare Toronto with comparable cities in the US like New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Toronto is in fact MUCH cheaper. If I compare my city with comparable cities in the US, well it turns out that Saguenay is much cheaper\n\nSo before wanting to move to another country, you can simply think about moving within Canada. I think it's clear, from the comments, that the problem is similar for all developed nations and the reason is immigrants from developing countries. It is also clear that most people who see this problem hate anything socialist or communist so... yeah. I don't think it's a coincidence the two ideas, the problem is immigration and the problem is socialism, are forming a clear pattern.

SIkh used to be a proud community. NOWADAYS, if you see any video of Brampton, Surrey or any other Canadian city, you will see only unruly Sikhs on the street creating nothing but problems. There were images of people in Alberta who formed a human chain to protect Muslims. Similar scenes were witnessed elsewhere in the country. Jewish community leaders spoke out, loud and clear, in support of Muslims and against hate and bigotry. \n\nBut that is not what Elghawaby did. Instead, she makes it sounds as though it is Muslims who are the victims, while failing to mention the barbarity unleashed on Oct. 7. This is not leadership. This is not her mandate. Her job is to promote tolerance as enshrined in Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. \n\nNow imagine a scenario in which Muslims did what they ought to have done in the first place: condemned the Hamas attack, sided with the Jewish victims and dissociated themselves from terrorism. Their voices for the Palestinian cause would have carried much more weight. \n\nWhat we are seeing instead is a rising tide of anti-Jewish hate on our streets, promoted and peddled by Muslim leaders themselves, either by gaslighting the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, or wallpapering it with the political colours of the Palestinian cause. \n\nLet us all come together, not to let hate be poured onto the streets of Canada, but to stand united for a secure and prosperous country. \n\nNational Post \n\nRaheel Raza and Mohammad Rizwan are members of the Council of Muslims Against Antisemitism.

I live beside Casa Loma in Toronto. Everyone says life is cheaper elsewhere and leaves, so now my area seems to mostly consist of animals like rabbits, skunks, foxes, and coyotes. Based on the other comments it seems other areas are experiencing the opposite, so I'm assuming everyone's crowding into a small number of vaguely affordable locations, getting tired of that, then deciding to either leave or at least start hating any government decisions that could have contributed to these problems
