I am an immigrant came to Canada in 2014. The immigration system in Canada right now is not let every body in this country, is only allowed low/non skills workers and fraud applications in. I have a friend from China who got a bachelor degree from university of Waterloo and worked at downtown Toronto as a finance person for $500k per year which is extreme high in Canada. But he could not get his permanent resident because he is not what Canada needs as the immigration system. But immigration system is giving lots of pathway on low skills workers who can bring his/her whole families inside the country. These low skills workers need to find employers to do many complicated admin works for the application. In reality, no employers are willing to do such a complicated admin works for a minimum wages worker. So these people are paying the the employers to do the admin works without a single day working. Once they get the permanent residency, they just stay in Canada without working, paying taxes or try to become a Canadian. But for these people who have a high-pay job with high degrees, Canada is kicking them out of this country.

I am an Indo-canadian who migrated from UAE 2 decades ago. Came thro proper channel of PR and became a citizen 4 yrs later. Qualified as a CPA burning the midnight oil, raised 2 kids thro Univ who are employed now. Trudeau, to be in power, joined hands with Jagmeet Singh. I know of a 2 shutter shop in Brampton East, registered as a college, which issued 4000 student visas. I wonder whether the Immigration dept checked on the college before issuing the visas. Now, we have students, whose visas have expired, whose families in India have mortgaged everything (primarily from Punjab, Haryana & Gujarat) who are here working for cash. I think we must revisit the files, track them out, see their educational background and give them opportunites. Indian origin folks must also educate their families back home on reality. With a growth rate of 7% + India is the country to be in, for these youngsters, to grow in life

Everything in this video is the sad reality of today, I worked in a production of fruits and veggies, and the agency "immigrants" hiring were practically, eating food with their hands instead of utensiles available to everyone at said place to even praying infront of canadian employees about their own beliefs and old ways.... it's truly disrespectful to be surrounded by immigrants who couldn't care for 2 cents about the country they migrate too. I'm now unemployed, been searching for a job for the last 3 months and can't even get hired into a basic low wage job like mc donalds tim hortons or any of those because its filled with nothing but immigrants. Really sad, and i'm annoyed that I dont get any callback from anywhere due to overflux of immigrants taking the jobs that can atleast get you out of trouble.

Liberals don't see migrants as a problem because they fall back on the reality that Canada was built with the help of immigrants. But that was a long time ago. It was a different situation completely. There needed to be people brought in to build, plant and develop the country at that time. We are no longer in need of mass migration as we already have a developed country. I wonder how many of the liberals would change their positions if the policy was, if you want a new migrant to come into Canada you have to pay for them out of your own paycheques and if you don't want a new migrant you don't have to pay. Pretty sure, very few people would want to pay when it is put that way but we are ALL forced to pay to cover that tab.

Reality... community can not differentiate between an immigrant and a refugee. When you intake refugees, 826% of your capacity...this is bound to happen. They never went through all the checks a regular immigrant would. They will not contribute to your economy but will be a burden to the economy. Load on law and order is an added bonus.

The biggest problem is they come to our home to escape a hell in their own country. But then they try to turn our country into the one they ran from. They try to change the ways we who were born and raised here are aloud to live our lives as we always have. My first job ever was tim hortons. Now im watching teens unable to gain independence unless their parents i Know someoneone who can hire them meanwhile no one can understand the person taking their order at tim hortons...Canada is to expensive now and we dont have the means to support these people anymore. Its costing us more with what they have done to our economy . Some of these people have zero care for human life ether they drive like A holes and cause accidents that cost lives. Canada is no longer a welcoming happy country. We are exhausted from busting our ass to keep a roof over our head leaving us unable to afford other things even food. Its not that they are all awful people (some are) but we CANT support them anymore we need to be able to support ourselves again !! The last 2 prime ministers are also to blame in reality. Healthcare in Canada is only a promise, the reality is the wait-list, every step of the way. I took a 17-month wait for a mri and cut it down to 17 hours, cutting a multi-year process down to 6 days. To get a mri in Canada is not easy there are only a smattering of private options if you want to pay, but you still have to wait 3 weeks, and it will cost $3500. I said screw it, bought a plane ticket, flew to Bangkok arriving on a Saturday, saw a doctor on Sunday, had a mri on Monday, and got the results on Friday. Then I spent the next week sitting on a beach. The total cost all in was $1900. I am not fussy, I'll accept any hospital in any country that will accept me.

The sad reality is that if our government wasn't taxing our young Canadians to death from the moment they get started at attempting to build a future for themselves, the young Canadians would actually be putting thought into having children and starting families. But the reality is they can't afford it and everyone knows that our young Canadians don't make the list of government handouts. As a child immigrant to Canada, I am absolutely disgusted with what we've turned into and how easy it is for today's immigrants to come here, it's like spitting in the faces of immigrants like my parents and many others who had to work their asses off to be here and make a life for themselves and their kids. Every older generation immigrant I have spoken with says they feel like all of their sacrifice was for nothing. When we immigrated here, we kept our traditions, but we also embraced Canadian traditions and I passed our traditions onto my child, but she was raised Canadian and she embraces both. Our whole family has been proudly Canadian since the day we came here and it breaks our hearts to see what our Canada has become. This immigration rule is not being enforced the way the government claims. IRCC is still handing out temporary resident visas—student visas, visitor visas, and visitor visa extensions—too easily. They’re approving 1-year visitor extensions, then another 6 months, and sometimes even another full year if someone applies again. How is that stricter than before? It’s not. The government is misleading Canadians when it says immigration rules are tightening. In reality, it’s becoming more lenient, and it’s frustrating for those of us who follow the rules, pay taxes, and contribute honestly to this country.
