The only reason the US imports so much from Canada is because the Democrats stopped production of all the materials Canada supplies the US because of their green policies. \nBut President Trump is reopening the gas, oil, electricity and agriculture production, so they won’t need to import so much from Canada, in fact probably reducing it substantially. \nProbably what will happen now is discussions on various goods to become equal on terms of cost in both countries levelling the playing field.

While many of us have done what we could do and we also know the current trade arrangement was negotiated with you by Donald Trump in his previous term which leaves many of us scratching our heads. Most of the world have had enough of Tramp, there is a lot of people around the world who will refuse to purchase American goods from now on and the diplomatic fallout will last for a couple of terms. Tramp will probably move to put tariffs on goods from the EU and their retaliatory tariffs will result in a 25% increase in the price of everyday products that the American public purchase. If tariffs are imposed on the EU that will mean at least 70% of American goods will have tariffs on them. Tramps next book will be, how to crash an economy within two months of taking office, so much for the art of the deal!
