Most Americans don't know that the trouble in Venezuela like most other countries south of our border, was more than likely caused by US interference. For decades our government has financed regime changes at the request of American corporations. Us companies take advantage of natural resources and cheap labor to get maximum profits at the expense of the other countries. Anytime politicians tried to look out for the best interest of their country and people, we financed any opposition that would disrupt their government from enacting change. Our tax dollars. Then, when immigrants come up because of poverty and violence, who can blame them? We all would do the same. Decades of under-funding immigration services and courts make it a years long process that most can't afford to wait for. America is a huge country. We have room. They aren't talking your job. And the vast majority are not criminals. But, the wealthy and powerful people need you to be distracted and have a scapegoat for you to blame for everything. Quit idolizing the wealthy. That includes either party.

The reality of the situation is that while Canada’s retaliatory tariffs will hurt the US a little, Trump’s tariffs hurt Canada a lot! Right now we’re in a moment where Canadian politicians of all stripes need to placate the public’s demand for retaliation, however no matter who the next PM is, they will quickly and quietly be working to undo whatever factors led to this situation. That will mean acquiescing to Trump’s border demands among other concessions. One would be forgiven for thinking Trudeau should have just gone along with them in the first place and spared Canada the pain.

Millionaires and billionaires and the politicians they’ve bought have spent the last 50 years fighting to destroy wages, unions, educational system, acces to healthcare and fought to avoid taxes for themselves leaving ordinary Americans with the bill. Trump is continuing this but more openly and loudly than ever before for all to see. What we in the rest of the western world see as basic rights and essential services is in America seen as “communism” \n\nThe consequences of this is that Americans are suffering and causing a huge demand for drugs both prescription and illegal drugs.\n\nTariffing Mexico and Canada makes no f sense when the peoblem is America and Americans. For many years USA and Mexico have worked together to combat drugs and cartels, there is no need to put tariffs on them.\n\nDrugs will continue to enter USA as long as there is a demand for it, including Musk and Trump jr. The only ones who can fix this is America itself.

The crux of the matter is that both countries are running huge federal deficits and needed an avenue to increase taxes in it's citizens. The politicians of both nations pulled a fast one on their citizens who now will pay paying more taxes in the form of higher prices on everything.

Thanks to multiculturalism, immigrants have been told time and again by Canada-hating politicians that they don't need to assimilate, they can keep everything they cherish, from their language to their religion, customs, values, traditions, heck they are encouraged to display them in public for the sake of diversity. As a son of an immigrant parent, my father did everything he could to assimilate because he loved Canada and its people. The problem is neoliberalism and capitalism. The 2 main political parties are hand in glove with neoliberalism and capitalism. They won't fix anything because they are in bed with corporations and the wealthiest. We need strong unions and way stronger rights for workers. The real reasons for low productivity? 2 weeks of vacation, no sick days, low wage economy etc etc. People are stressed, exhausted and they see work no longer pays. Even those on 60k a year. Amazing how many people around the world speak evil about Capitalist USA but given the chance of open borders they will ran towards it . i'm happy there are people here who agree, but having your voice heard only as a youtube comment is not the answer. do you know how countries in europe managed to get ahead in healthcare? patients went to the press with recorded videos about their experience. and yes, initially the journalists dismissed this as non news, but it only needed one to go with it. and it made waves. now a 2hr wait in the ER in europe is met by the tv crew. \ncanadians refuse to do it. when i came to canada 25 years ago a 2hr wait was normal. now it's 9hrs and still no discontent voices. no politician is running on healthcare, but on cutting taxes and on giving back a few hundred dollars a year back to the families. and most are eating it up! \nbecause healthcare is public, doctors and their union have 0 incentive of allowing more professionals into the system, because they all share the same pie. there are families who do not have a family doctor and are forced to use clinics, even with newborn babies. my family doctor works a regular job, doesn't answer the phone after 3:30 (even though they are open until 4), has 2-half days (one is a golf day btw) and overall couldn't give a F about patients. on that high salary in any other industry, you'd be on call 24/7. \nand then there's housing, jobs, the education system is a mess - more and more people are worried about what these kids are learning and there is 0 incentive from any of the politicians to address the issue.\nand, of course, there is forced immigration. when we came it used to be a merit system, you had to bring in money to prove you won't be a burden to welfare for at least a year. it's definitely not the case now. \npeople look at PP as some kind of saviour, but he's not going to fix anything. usually conservatives are good for corporations, whilst liberals balance their policies with the needs of the common folk. how far they've fallen.

I arrived in Toronto in 1961. At that time it was referred to as ‘Toronto the Good’ and it was. First Trump's administration is going to be jacked up with little known outliers with controversial and radical ideas. That is what Trump is attracted to. His ideas of tariffs and mass deportations are deplorable. They both disadvantage the US instead making it better. However, the tariffs may as well be a scam to get companies profits as when Trump says 10% on item A, companies are going to raise the cost of item A 12 to 15% or so and blame the cost increase on tariffs. For deportation's, I hope most people realize that many working the fields as low wage labor are very well illegals, but they are hired because they keep food costs low. Raising all prices for the poor Republicans will not be beneficial because prices on goods can increase 15% or more but their employer is certainly not going give them a 15% raise to match the cost of living. So Trump has already made the business environment good for more profits by planning to make life more expensive for everyone so business can absorb the additional profits. Probusiness politicians help businesses make money and that money comes from households and the government. And making the government spend more means the government needs to tax more. But TRump is cutting taxes for the people that have the most money. And Trump raising prices with tariffs justs makes households poorer and business richer. Naturally, the stock market will record highs when all the indicators are that business will be making much greater profits from households when Trump takes office.

We need Trump to be the leader of Canada. He will abolish all these clueless politicians in Canada.

The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that. I agree our border needs protection and security. Majority of the left do agree w that but gop don’t want solutions they want to just shut it down completely and thats not right. As an indian living in Dubai. If I feel a place was overcrowded- I would leave, but for some indians its not the same and its quite sad some politicians thinking a densely populated city full of jobless people is okay. Its kind of the opposite reason why indians move to canada(because most of us dont like overecrowded cities-which tends to happen in india). The amoumt of jobs need to increase. The infrastructure needs to increase. Colleges and schools where people actually pay for all of it is necessary. And homelessness needs to be replace by education and housing policies for older canadians especially. Preserving the respect for the elderly. The list goes on- and yes it will increase the amount of jobs, if they build and educate. Also increase the incentive to be educated.

NY needs to stop accepting them. Canada needs to stop letting them in too. Sickening. Vote politicians supporting this invasion of the US out of office.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race.
