Tyler, thanks for your entertaining and fun videos. My grandfather is a dual citizen but has never renewed his passport or anything and when asked to do so, he outright refuses. He says he hated living there. We live in the Vancouver area of Canada right now. My wife is finishing her registered nursing degree and we are considering moving to washington state, within an hour or so of the Canadian border on temporary work visas (TN1) for a few years. The main reason is the cost of living differences, mostly in housing but a lot of things are cheaper down there too. For example though, the costs of rent or to buy a house in the Vancouver area is insane - 1.5 million is generally a starting point. The cost of a detached house south of the border between Bellingham and Blaine starts around $400,000 ($500,000 CDN). If renting, it's crazy cheaper than here. \n\nThe area we are considering going to is very close to the canadian border, I've never heard of major violence problems in the area. Like one of the other comments you read, we're basically considering moving there to take advantage of a lower cost of living and higher salaries for a bit to try to get ahead. Living in the Vancouver area is such an absolute DRAIN on our finances that it is intolerable. If we didn't move to the US, we'd have to find another place in Canada to go to, but we do like the climate on the coast here. I'd actually just keep commuting to Canada daily to work in Canada since it's so close to the border, and writing the bar exam to be able to practice law in any US state except California, Massachusets, or New York is a pain in the backside to even be able to write it, let alone prepare for it. Just easier for me to keep working here unless we decided to try to make a permanent move somewhere further from the border.\n\nIf we decided to change our minds and apply to stay in the US in the future, there are a lot of the other considerations that other people have raised on top of my own ability to continue as a lawyer. Gun violence in the US is crazy, extreme polarized political views and increasing intolerance against diversity of race, culture, religion, (and while it doesnt affect us directly, it bothers us how LGBTQ people are increasingly targeted with backwards policies and by certain segments of the public), the health care system in canada has it's problems but it's also got it's strong points. We'll never go bankrupt because of a health care issue since we can move back to Canada IF it's ever a problem. Thankfully we are all pretty healthy so it shouldn't be much of a problem for a while at least. And we wouldn't even move there at all if her employment as a nurse doesn't offer health care and better pay than she can obtain here. \n\nOur kids will probably attend post-secondary (college/university) in Canada as dual citizens unless they get a scholarship to a top US school. The costs of post-secondary in Canada appears to be much cheaper than in the US and we have some good colleges/universities that consistently rank high globally.

We do not owe them a debt. They (or any other migrant) are not entitled to become US citizens solely bc their home country is in turmoil. Sympathy can only go so far but when you try to invade our country all sympathy is lost. I feel for them greatly but these kinds of actions harden the hearts of our people and make the hate expressed toward LEGAL immigrants 100x worse. We have families that we need to protect just like them. Who knows what dangerous person is in the crowd liable to do anything one they cross that border without any record of their presence or existence. ?‍♀️ The united states is not a fucking charity help the homeless people in California and strengthen the support for legal immigrants before giving hand outs to these people who have fuck all to offer but a bunch of desperation that we do not have the resources to fix. Have we already forgot our country nearly went bankrupt in June? We cannot afford the influx of all these people.

Take back your country from the cartels and make life good there. America is great at training new soldiers so make a real resistance against the drug lords and ask for training and help on how to solve your problems instead of just looking for a free reset stop just running here and adress the real issues in your country. Bumb rushing our borders looking for a hand out doesn't fix anything in the grand scheme, but it does enrage Americans when we as citizens can't get the level of help that's offered to foreigners. If we have to fix your country for you then we should have claim to part of your countrys resources and said country should be under our same governing laws and paying taxes like the citizens of the country that's solving their problems

According to refugee rules they have to migrate to 2 countries outside of their home country to seek asylum. Maybe Canada was not their 1st choice but a means to an end to get that 2nd country eligiblity for asylum. Now to what an individual country offers in protection is up to its citizens to change the laws not to complain about it.

This is what the Democratic Party offers everyone, take a good look around. Open borders, taxpayer money going oversees, jobs being given to illegal immigrants over the country’s own citizens, etc. The Democratic Party if fundamentally Anti-American/Constitution, that’s why they want Big Government to have money, power & control over everything! Then they turn around and make you the bad guy if you say illegals should stay out because it’ll damage our economy even further. It’s all ass backwards!!!

I live in Juárez, Venezuelans here are offered jobs and they refuse, they wanna live off government help. I believe everything should be done the legal way. My sister is a United States citizen, I have a VISA and visit from time to time, but everything within the legal path. \nIt is not the US responsibility nor is it Mexico's to accept this people and give everyone humanitarian shelter and a job. \n\nIt's a real shame

Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. The same s*** that's taken over these countries is taking over the inner cities have been for decades and these are the same communities that most of these people will end up in. No it's not about not being good Christians part of being a good Christian is reminding people to stand their ground and have faith in Jesus and God and their own home territory and not to give it up to the crime people in the bad politicians. You can't say you believe in God and Jesus Christ and then he's got your back while you're running and that's the truth in the reality that nobody wants to hear the more people run from these countries the more the bad people are able to take over and then we get complaints here in the states about the cost attacks is rightfully so. For those people screaming and shouting that everybody should go out pick up in my grant and bring them home to their house and feed them and take them and I challenge you to do the same thing for homeless before you even do the migrant do homeless American citizens go out and really educate yourself because I'm totally tired of hearing from Americans that the only people that live on the streets are people with mental health problems that need mental health treatment or people that are stoned out and that's where they want to be you guys are so f****** wrong and this is coming from someone that met homeless people spent time around homeless people and understand we have a society that wants to paints a very different picture than what's truly going on because then it allows for hey it's not our problem they want to be there. I will say there's two I'm sure a lot of people are attracted to come into the United States I mean it's kind of turned into the Devil's Playground don't you think I mean look at how ostentatiously people live the projects on the backs of taxpayers selling dope holding down dead-end jobs to make it look like they're working all while going out and getting their hair did and their nails done and their eyelashes done and pimping out their cars and all that b******* and buying all this you know high-end tennis shoes and f****** clothing and Handbags and s*** and then we have the part of the United States that justified of themselves all the time or it's okay to have this huge palatial house or have multiple houses I'll we have United States veterans living on the streets or people that truly have disabilities that have been a waiting list for 2 and 3 years for housing. I remind people all the time and they hate hearing this s*** Jesus never had a house as a matter of fact Jesus basically live like a homeless person after he was an adult particularly and God made sure he was provided for. I mean did you all forget the night they came to take them away they were asleep in an Open Garden it wasn't like they popped up tents or glamper camper sites had some little Adobe type cabins they were sleeping in. As a matter of fact if you pay attention to most of the stories about Jesus and talking about him sleeping he does a lot of sleeping Outdoors. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. I never understood the logic of that it's like rats run from the country where they're making the drugs to the country that supplying the globe with it and we're all of these bad people have thousands of people in planted everywhere with guns and hookups. I don't know why people don't understand that we have dirty lawn forcement in dirty politicians that are in bed with the dirty drug cartels that's as much as they are in the country. You don't think that there's not decisions made in the United States based on drugs and I'm not talking about how to put it into them but how to keep them flowing. I have Fred still in Florida and we were all making jokes about how quickly Sanibel Island all the way up to st. Pete got Mainland access so quickly after the last major hurricane that took everything down and we all know what it's from is because that portion of Florida is used to bring a lot of drugs in from South America, Central America. So for all of you that want to post your personal assumptions about homeless people because that's all it is unless you've actually been homeless or spent time around homeless you really have no clue what's going on in the homeless population except what you've been told by the same political talking head media bulshit that's been lying to everybody about a bunch of other stuff too. Don't you get it the politicians don't want people knowing that a lot of the people that are homeless on the street are people that are disabled and aren't disabled because they have mental health problems I know that's the narrative they've been trying to stuff down people's throats.

They should be picking up garbage and doing every menial task we have to offer oppose to living like they deserve better than actual citizens who have to pay taxes to support them.

Canada needs more workers, and since the privileged citizens don’t want to work for salaries offered. We need people who will. Welcome to Canada

im pretty sure universities in india cant be as bad as this. but i also think its partially the students and parents own fault, you can only end up going to such a university that noone has heard of if you didnt do any research into. google is free to use. noone is stopping you from from calling or emailing the universities. \nits not difficult to research universties abroad and pick then find an agent to help you apply to that university. thats exactly what it did \nalso you dont only have to go to canada. there are plenty of countries in europe that offer cheaper degrees in english. \nif an agency is guaranteeing a job after then should ring alarm bells, even citizens of that country is are not guaranteed a job so its defintely going to be harder for internationals \nmoral of the story, do your due diligence

All people living in countries with nationalized health want to continue the lie that it actually offers quality service. There is so much proof everywhere that this is not true. Canada is a perfect example.\n\nAs someone who worked for the largest hospital chain I can tell you that 30% of our revenue at hospitals we owned along the US northern border came from Canadian citizens. It kind of makes you wonder, if Canadians get amazing high quality free healthcare, why would they drive to another country to pay for it? \n\nThe truth is anybody in the countries that have socialized medicine that can afford to, ops for private care. That is a fact worldwide that nobody likes to admit. Long waits to get treatment. Long lines once you get to the facility. Piss poor quality care by people who hate your guts because every one of you has entitled lightest coming out of your ears. But why shouldn't you… you've over paid for the shit your entire life and now it's time to use it so you think you should be treated like royalty.

Before listen to this lady about the problems of this country and think that she is absolutely correct. Know that she left her own country to live here and if she says she is planning to leave eventually, remember that our great country is giving here that right to reap the benefits that she needs. What other country offers you such a simple path to citizenship. Once you become a citizen your entitlements to benefit is no different from someone who was born here. You need to redo your video, dude! You underplayed Alberta and overplayed Quebec and Ontario. Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. Also, yes it is an oil province but it was squashed by Ottawa and still came out on top. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. People have been fleeing the east to Alberta for its freedom from government overreach as well. So, you're out of touch here by a lot. Alberta has deserts, beaches, more gorgeous mountain ranges than BC, farmland, glaciers that never melt despite the globalists so called maniac calls of global warming, as much sunshine as Saskatchewan, forests with many trails and campgrounds, the list goes on. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

Most of these problems are not just Canadian problems but are immigrant problems and some are just developed nations problems , most people will face them in every country they go to!! The uk, us, Australia mention others are all expensive with just a 0.4 difference! Getting a Canadian passport and moving to another country which is not your native country will solve nothing and it’s not easy to move to a new country unless you have someone to sponsor you!! A Canadian passport will not allow you to work in the US or UK you will need sponsorship for a visa _ all it offers is a free visit visa for about 6 months I guess but not allowed to work! Work visas are complicated and depend more on skills than passport you hold! As a US citizen I can’t work in Canada visa free I can only visit_ the same with Canadians coming to the US or the UK ! \nFor the weather I feel you! We’re lucky In the US cos every type of weather you want you can get it without sacrificing living in a big city But other problems are quite similar everywhere! You have to walk around them and create ways to enjoy the beauty your country has to offer! Running away from from a country your a citizen of cos of loneliness or boredom is not a solution especially when you moving to a country your not even a resident of! Cos establishing residence is never easy unless you have a community there already! Otherwise it will be worse than where your running from!

I'm currently planning to immigrate to Canada. As for me, the very reason why I want to move there is to have better life. There are some great points mentioned to this video but for some cases, most especially if you talk about other underpriviledge countries, Canada is much more better. I'm from the Philippines and I would say that our country is suffering from everything. High price of goods, salary for CAD375 minimum (for a month even you're bachelor degree holder), no health benefits (unless you are working in a private company that offers benefits), no educational benefits (I would consider scholarship but that wouldn't enough to survive in every semester that you'll take). Senior Citizens / PWD that only gets benefit from their 20% discount in every purchase they make for medicine and food and seniors sometimes didn't get their pensions... so on and so forth.\n\nI think, it all boils down from what country you came from and differences of the gov't system that they have. And all of us needs to work hard to get a better life. It will always depends on our decision on what lifestyle do you choose or how do you live your life or what life do you want to live.\n\nBut to conclude this, this is a great video. This a great heads up for those who wants to come to Canada.

The Canadian immigration program is very difficult and expensive... We need lots and lots of money. It's difficult to get a job offer when we are not a Canadian citizen...

I was there in Toronto for 5 years as Canadian Citizen. To keep citizens a priority over the influx of immigrants and refugees Denmark had cut welfare benefits to illegal immigrants and refugees and many began leaving to more profitable countries (in benefits). Why has our country not put something like that in place? It definitely would sort out those who came for the 'freebies'.  ~ Denmark's ‘integration benefit'  measure was a significantly lower benefit level being offered to people who have resided in Denmark for less than seven of the past eight years. Foreigners will also receive a financial incentive to learn the language. These were 'integration benefits'. Citizens who have lived outside of the EU (or country?) for seven of the past eight years were also subjected to the new rules. The purpose, to make Denmark a less attractive destination while making it more attractive to work and contribute to Danish society.  It reduced the flow in to a more manageable number.
