When the US starts to hurt and their power is cut (if we proceed with that), I suspect that they will take military action against us. It will cease to be a trade war and become an actual war.

As European citizen, is there any EU politician on-line taking notes???. This is how you adress the nation in times of urgency, this is how you adress trouble. It all start with naming the problems, and not endlessly debating how to describe a dictator without offending him. Powerfull speech.

We now have a criminal administration in the US if that were not enough the leader is also crazy. Americans are only just starting to feel the pain his policies will bring to us and now even more to Canadians whose economy is in a more fragile state than ours. The silver lining is American people will stand with the people of other countries including Canadians to take back their power from a would be dictator who cares not about people but only the bottom line. take back everything you instated for trump with border security and let them deal with there own drug problems... and start refusing american goods at the border... tell them we only pay a set amount or send it back! when the US asks why we did it we can tell them it was to cover the costs of tarriffs that trump thinks the government pays... well lets make his words ring true at their expense!

America…you’re getting taxed on all sides - Canada, China, and Mexico. These retaliatory tariffs are very strategic as well to hit you where it hurts the most. Your farms and food supplies are also going to get hit by lack of workers. I’m so worried for you. Fight back! This man is trying to destroy your country. Follow the money - where it’s being taken from (jobs, Medicaid, etc) and where it’s going TO (tax cuts for most wealthy, contracts for billionaires). The SAVE Act is trying to make it very difficult for minorities and WOMEN to vote. They are trying to basically take over so they can’t be put out of power, only the wealthy get educated properly, the poor go to military service, and they may even start looking at invading other countries. Why create conflict with Canada? To start the narrative that we are evil…and that we must be “protected”. It’s all there, America!! Please wake up!!!

As A Canadian I will call on my government to cancel buying the 88 F-35’s. We can’t trust America anymore. Our forefathers sold out our great aerospace industry like AVRO because we had A partnership with Americans. No more. I call on Bombardier to take the initiative and start developing our own military aircraft. I will NEVER step foot in America as long as Putin is running your country.
