i see these types of videos all the time, i'm sure there are a lot of videos similar saying something about why ppl are leaving that country (Italy, Japan, Bulgaria, Greece etc ...) \ni think the title is correct, there are a lot of delusional ppl in the world who want \na) amazing 6 figure salary \nb) affordable housing \nc) perfect weather\nd) safety with zero violence \ne) perfect infrastructure (health care, transportation, police etc ...)\nf) easy immigration process\nseriously? try getting a Citizenship in the Scandinavian countries and see how that goes!\nthere is NO country that checks all those boxes and in the it's always these immigrants who talk trash about a country they are TRYING to immigrate to while their country is rapidly declining\ni'm grateful for this country and i'm not ignorant, i've travelled to more than 60 countries so i've seen how ppl live around the world and Canada is in the top 5 countries to live in the world maybe top 3 honestly (i'm not being biased, i wasn't even born here) \nppl need to realize that \na) not many countries have open doors where you can just pick where you wanna immigrate to\nb) immigration process is painfully long and expensive, especially to countries where many ppl wanna immigrate to\nc) quality of life is RELEVANT to cost of living so stop thinking that you can get this AMAZING quality of life for a cheap cost\nd) your College Degree from some school nobody has heard of is pretty much useless wherever you immigrate to so don't think you'll be flooded with jobs and that you'll be making 6 figures in a matter of months\ne) you're not that special and the country will not revolve around you, what you want and what you need\nf) there are probably millions of ppl at this very moment who live in much worse conditions than you do so stop complaining about it and be grateful

It only goes down from here! Born and raised in Canada.... Been complaining how downhill the country has gone since I was a teenager (I'm in my 30s now). I avoid going to the hospital. For 2+ years, they still can't figure out why I can't see out of one eye lol. Probably have like 16 pages in my OHIP record. Also my FIL died cuz the hospital sucked. Want to get a pap smear check? It only takes 6 months to get an appointment and you need a referral from your family doc... Not that everyone has one. I'm actually worried for the day when my doc retires... I'll be famlly doctorless. Probably have to go through the walk in clinic system where they don't know you or bother to get to you know. You're just a number.

Can you mention about the following issues : 1) Zero SC/ST/OBC reservations in education & govt. jobs 2) Women do not face on street sexual harassment 3) Police & govt servants dont ask for bribes 4) One does not need to wait for 5 years to get a phone connection 5) Banks dont give you a tough time to open your bank account 6) Landlords dont squeeze 12 months deposit from tenants 7) Zero pollution 8) Schools dont give a hard time for admission

When I had my kid in Canada, the only thing we paid for was parking. My cousin, who lives in Texas, paid 5K for each of her deliveries, even though they had great HC insurance. My son went through a whole 4 year, plus 1 year Co-op engineering degree for the price of one year's tuition in the US for the same program and he's gainfully employed. I also got 6 months maternity leave 26 years ago, and now people get 1 year.

Get your Canadian passport, then leave. Return for free medical treatments then leave after 6 months in Canada to satisfy requirements to keep your universal health care; repeat. Don't live in Canada. Ironically, discrimination is worst coming from immigrants who have no respect or desire for Canadian values. Disrespect for women is more overt now.

You don't have to wait in the US for health care because a lot of people can't get any health care service becaused it is too expensive. If you are out of Canada for more then 6 months, you are no longer convered by the Canadian health system.

I'm Canadian and lived in New York City for 5 years. I was offered a job and thought, why not? After 6 months, my excitement wore off. Of course, there's healthcare, but everything is about politics, and I mean everything. Such a focus on it. I know I'm talking about NYC here, but the people were not nice at all. Nobody cares about anyone as a human being. People are just plain argumentative and want to get into a scuffle. Let's just say I was very aware I was Canadian. I was baffled at the lack of humanity. In the beginning, I was holding doors open for people, etc, and people wouldn't even say Thank You. I naively expected people to do the same and guess what? It didn't happen. My work visa was for 3 years, so I was ready to move, and then, of course, COVID hit. I was stuck for another two years, then my passport expired so I had to wait to get that. After 5 years I was ready to head back to Canada. I moved back on Sept 2, 2022 and couldn't be happier. I could not live in the United States again.

90% of us live an hour from the border.. so it makes sense for us to use the social health care when we can. and if we REALLY need it. We can still go pay in the :USA.. My wife if from Mexico and when we have kids we are moving back to Canada so she gets paid $1400 a month or more to STAY home and take care of our children. once they are ready for school we are moving back to Mexico where we both want to be. Canada is just where we come when we need to make extra money with my job. Trudeau RUINED Canada beyond all repair. I can see a Neurologist in Mexico for $1500 pesos... $115CAD immediately. Canada that would be a solid 6 month process...1-2 months to see you family practician and then 3-6 months to hear back from a specialist....THEN another 1-2 month to go over results with your Doc again lol...its a joke. Doctors get paid everytime we swipe out health card.. so theres also a problem with them referring to their friends from school...rather than the BEST specialist for you.... first world problems..

Heard on average it cost around $25000 just to have a child in the US. NO thank you going into debt just to have a kid. Here in Canada free no matter what. Also rather be free then availability. I dont rush to the hospital because of minor sickness like everyone else here does then complains about the wait times. Also dont put myself in dangerous situations to get myself hurt. Some people are so scared about death or wanting attention just go to the hospital for the dumbest reasons. Had someone on my facebook say they had a flu and had been waiting 6 hours in emerg then whined about it. I told them to go home and stop abusing our system thats the reason for wait times. Also not true about weather there are like 7 to 8 states that are way colder then us right now and over the winter then us here in Southern ontario. Maine, Montana, colorado, washington state usually are way colder during winter months and also get alot more snow. Its crazy how we have a sterotype here which yes is true but not for a majority of Canadians. More Americans live in Colder areas combined then Canadians in all of Canada. Completely agree with you. I spent 6 years in Canada and quit. Both me and my husband are highly educated but had to end up with minimum wage jobs to begin with. Winters are brutal. 2013 we experienced minus 40 with snow storms !! And keeping urself PACKED in ur home for months is extremely depressing. Medical facility inspite of being free is a joke !! You are better off getting basic medicines from India. They want to fix everything with Tylenol, that too such low potency that even 20 pills will not make any difference. And just 1 crocin in India and you can run a marathon next day. Education too is pathetic. They need a calculator to add 5 +5 !! Here 6 yr old kids do mental mathematics on 4 figures in their heads !! No university in Canada can even come close to IIT'S, IIM'S and IISC ever. 12th std math and science here in India is probably taught to engineering degree students on Canada. Im Canadian from Northern Alberta. I travel often to the balkans often. Every time I come home i see how bad it is here. People work so hard for very little. And the extras people have is wasted away. Then there is the nanny state aspect, it is not just from the government but the citizens as well. Which creates a atmosphere that makes community building seem impossible. \n We hit the apex 10 years ago. And it really is time to leave. \n Health care?\n My friend had a botched back surgery, he nearly lost everything. Waited over 6 months for mri and other tests, treated like garbage. Now in Belgrade Serbia. You call for a mri you get it the next day for 100 dollars. \n Things aren't as good as the people believe they are. \n Modernity is killing the human connection, but other places still have it. And it is refreshing to see it.

You know I used to have a lax attitude about immigration. Like if they want to come let them. That is until my small family and I were made homeless in April of this year. I am disabled bug earn an income in addition to disability benefits I earned by being educated and having two degrees. I couldn’t find any resources or housing. I found lots and lots and lots of resources for undocumented people even grocery assistance, rental assistance and whole orgs finding them housing. Even with kidney failure and dialysis we couldn’t find help. We had to be referred to Adult Protective Services to get any help. It took 6 months. We live in a sad place because American families can’t find affordable housing.

I lived in Canada from 1983 to 2016 after I left the US Air Force in '83. I was born in the SF Bay area, and grew up there in the Hippie peace love/Viet Nam era in the 60's and 70's. I now live in Seattle. As we have travelled to San Fran, New Orleans, Nashville, Miami, Vancouver (Canada) and New York in the last 6 months, I kinda have a pretty good idea how it was on both sides of the border way back then, as well as right now. We have 2 rental homes, and I STILL have to work until I'm 70 to retire without worrying about losing it all because of the the high cost of health care. Your observation of race/political/religion relations are naive at best, you need to travel the country first hand to see it. Canada has it's far share of right wing crazies as well. They're mostly not armed, and most fights are 5 minute shouting matches. I know this because I work on construction sites. Canada doesn't have commercials for pharma or ambulance chasers. Because big pharma is kept in check, and with a population slightly smaller than California, frivolous lawsuits would clog the courts. If the PM killed some one on the corner of Yonge and Bloor in Toronto, he'd go to jail. You can get an abortion in Canada. There's a fraction of the Fentanyl crisis happening in Canada, and they have waaayy less homeless in the street. Canada has 2 weeks paid vacation AND paid holidays. The tax rate is higher in Canada, but many of the benefits make up the difference. It's cheaper to buy a house in Seattle than Vancouver. You can get a 30 year mortgage in Washington as well, instead of 5 or 10 years. Good and services tend to be cheaper and more plentiful Stateside. Mail service runs on weekends, it hasn't done that in Canada since the 80's. As it stands, I'm in Seattle right now because it isn't the typical US city by far. But I'm thinking when it comes to retiring, I'm putting Canada on the list. Being a dual citizen also makes me eligible for the other Commonwealth (universal health care) countries like Australia.

one of my friends same way came to Canada from Newzealand, and now he went back, the same way another friend from Germany came on PR and went back to India due to he got good opportunity, I was a software project manager in India and my wife was a professor in engineering college having a degree of Ph.D. in computer science but facing trouble to get right job in Newfound land. so we met so many PR newcomers in last 6 months and herd same story like us so moral of the story for others is ,please be aware about expenses , cost of living and hidden costs .

My opinion as a Canadian with no first hand life experience in the states but personally know plenty of people who do and follow many Americans on social media.\n\nI like to look at both sides of the story when I don’t personally know any better. First thing is when it comes to health care, Canadians use only the cost as an argument but never the quality. The only time I will ever use the government funded healthcare is for a broken bone. Any other issues my knowledge and experience makes me stay far and clear away from the hospitals. However I was talking with a retired business man who spends winter in Florida and he said he had a health issue while there, was referred to a certain doctor by a friend, made an appointment within a few days, not a yearlong waitlist, and with one visit had his issues fixed. Paid the bill and was done with it. Not a story of take this for a while then come back, come back to get referred to a specialist, wait a few months for the specialist, get an appointment 6 months later, and after surgery you feel only slightly better because in your mind you should be better. I do believe Canadian healthcare is low quality and sadly designed for the government to make money. American healthcare is private and needs to offer good quality services in order to succeed.\n\n\nNext subject is violence. Everyone I know and follow in the states have never had any major acts of violence towards them. I believe just like Canada, some areas are more prone to violence but since the states have 10x more people, they have 10x more violent spots which makes it seem worse. Rural Canada and rural United States seems to me very similar in the way people treat each other. \n\n\nI wouldn’t be scared to move there if that’s what would be best. Doubt it’ll happen because I enjoy having the amount of unpopulated area to go riding atvs, snowmobiles, and whatever else. I have obtained the visit Visa and will be coming alone to Canada in couple of months. Need clarity on few issues. \nI will be bringing expenses money for 6 months, more funds will be arranged if required. My target provinces are Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick. I am confident that I will secure a LMIA approved job in HR and hence a legit Work permit. \nCan the work permit holder invite his spouse and children ? \nDoes the whole family have free education and health care? \nBut one must have alternate solution. If I don’t get a job in my occupation, I will be forced to work as a farmer or a laborer or any other low skilled occupation and get a work permit for that job. My technical question is once I have worked as a farmer/laborer for a year, I will have to apply for the PR under PNP. Will my 1 year work experience as a farmer/laborer have a negative impact, since my qualification is in business Management (HR) ?

We cannot save people from other countries when we have our own people drowning! Our own veterans homeless! Our own people not being able to afford rent anymore! Send them back. I came to canada in 2017 as an international student, paid shit tons of money for housing, tuition fees. Worked full time after graduation,yet my immigration process is taking long. Evey step I took went through proper screening, and yet it's taking forever. Send them back. At this point theres no gurantee for people like me to get permanent residence over here. With all the back logs etc. So why should they be granted status, while my work permit expires in 6 months and immigration officers wont bother to answer my phone calls for extension. I have paid my taxes, I have obeyed the law. I'm a law abiding citizen. At this point, I'm even thinking of going back. This country wants new talents and more people to add to their workforce. But if they treat people like me like this. Then we might as well go back.

Canada is not worth coming to if you own a home in your current country and are generally happy, have a decent job and family, don't come here because it will not be easy or better than what you have. You will have to start from nothing, working the worst jobs cleaning hotels and toilets or working minimum wage in a retail store, even if you are a professional in your home country. There is nothing better here, nothing is free unless you come as a refugee. This country is the anti-dream of America. The taxes are very hi, the rent is unaffordable, to buy a house you have to make $200,000k a year, so basically you will be screwed. There is no way to save for retirement in Canada, so don't think life will get easier. In Canada you will get stuck working well beyond your retirement years like into your 70's you will work here until you drop dead. My parents are 70 and still work because they are still paying off their mortgage, while they get retirement $1,300 per month which is the standard is a joke since it doesn't cover the basics, you need $6,000 at least to survive for a month, to buy food, gas for your car, carinsurance, phone bill, utilities, anything else, just the basics. What the government gives you is completely unrealistic to the times, considering the amount of money people pay in taxes you don't get enough during your retirement years, the government has no use for you so they dont care about you when you get old.

In defense of Preach, I lived in the states for most of my life on the east coast. Been through the entire thing multiple times, lived in various areas and recently I moved to cali for 6 months before finally heading overseas to Japan. From my personal experience and even talks with other men who have been to even just only the east and west coast who live in the states; east coast women tend to be “rougher” than west coast women. The femininity thing is one angle sure, I think the New York style of talk is it’s own unique angle. But simply from a look’s perspective you are FAR MORE LIKELY to find attractive women on the west coast then on the east. I think a major contribution to this is the diet unfortunately. The diet on the east coast, the daily selections and just general culture around not eating clean really lends itself here. Many more overweight women on the east coast then the west. Overseas both coasts get blown out the water imho. Again largely due to what I suspect are better eating habits. Also what women wear around here tends to show better. America is really heavy on the yoga pants, buns in hair, etc. I rarely see that around here and if I do….. it’s an American women.

Full time and part time employees are entitled to 4 weeks vacation here in Australia, I don’t know anyone who only gets 4 tho, most get 5 to 6. Also, theres Medicare for all permanent residents and citizens; 18 weeks maternity leave— 3 months paid. There are 12 public holidays and just Far Less Crime. When people ask me if I miss “home”… I share that I miss good and easy access to stuff… but friends can visit me here, and I’ll pay extra for the things I enjoy to be mailed. Each Province has its own universal healthcare which is funded - NOT BY TAXES - by a premium paid similar to regular insurance (except there isn't anyone skimming profits off the top). For example - the Ontario Heath Insurance Plan - OHIP. As a pensioner, my OHIP premium in 2014 was $98 per year. In the US I pay 12 x 167 = 2004 - over 20 times the amount AND I have to pay the first $4,000 of cost myself. Yes, you have to WAIT after moving to Canada before you get full coverage. As a Canadian, if I came back to Canada I would have to wait 6 months before my health insurance kicks in. BUT if this were not the case sick people from all over the planet would flock to Canada for free medicine. As for the Doctor shortage that is CREATED by the Canadian Medical Association limiting the positions available in Med schools. Nobody loses their house and goes bankrupt in Canada because a family member gets sick compared to about 700, 000 Americans per year who suffer that fate. AND no children die in Canada because their parents didn't have Healthcare. As for immediacy of service - it depends on how serious the medical problem is. Few, if any, people die in Canada because they were seriously ill and were told to go home and take Advil.
