Its scary to be honest, knowing that the president is being played by putin. Im worried about what comes next, because it sure feels like he is making deals with the devil...and you never come out on top in such arrangements. ☠️

In the USA. There is no justifiable or sensible reason to launch this trade attack on countries throughout the world. It hurts them, it hurts us (the working class American). This president makes any comment or accusation and insists we call it fact. I feel for Canada. America is in trouble too.

He is a good speaker but lack of facts that can make Canada stronger and make trump feel US is wrong.

I haven't enjoyed much of Trudeau's office, but this he owns. He really laid it down here. It made me proud to be Canadian. He absolutely, kicked ass and I hope he just hammers Trump. Trudeau's level of forthrightness and honesty in this situation is (I think) exactly why people voted for him. It makes me feel like he's going to kick Trump's ass.

Canadian here, I just feel really bad for the normal Americans who didn't vote for this orange clown who seems hellbent on making their lives miserable. We don't hold it against you, and this is a war with your government, not the people. Americans will always be our brothers and sisters, we just gotta get through this extremely weird and disturbing chapter in history. My grandpa fought side by side with Americans in WW2, and gave his life to stop fascist idiots like Trump. History can't, and won't repeat itself. Don't buy Canadian Bacon, Maple Syrup and other Canadian goods. Canada is NOT the closest ally of the US and has long in fact been like the Karen nation of North America who is massively passive aggressive to the US, and outright hatred for the US is rampant among many Canadians. 25 percent 155 billion which is dwarfed by the trade imbalance of the many billions more of Canadian goods that go to the US, mostly it is American Alcohol that goes to Canada, to fuel the drunks of Canadian society, so Homeless alcoholics in Canada might truly suffer. How is more sobriety a bad thing Trudeau? This might be fantastic for people who drink alcohol to make a break with the booze they have been needing. \n\nThe rest of us, who don't buy Canadian goods nor own or invest in American alcohol won't feel anything. In fact we pay more for mailing stuff to Canada from the Canadian postal service. \n\nWe learned not to mail stuff to Canada. We are ok now living with that limitation.

As an American, I am always feel embarrassed by this current administration both domestic and foreign. I know it’s going to be difficult for most us Americans and to most Canadians as well but, please make sure to give shit administration an ugly lesson which will be difficult to recover in short term.

Why do I feel like Trudeau cares more about my well-being than my own government? Not all of us Americans support Trump. Frankly, I'm terrified of what he's doing. I support your push back, Canada. Canadian here(Quebec) I feel sad for all the Whiskey industries in Kentucky, those workers didn't deserved the counter-effects of the tarifs. I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. You’re damn right the citizens in Canada are going to feel the pain. Your family must had better realize this and set aside your carbon tax for April so we the Canadians are not only going to suffer from the tarrifs but an increase in our taxes. We do not make the kind of money, benefits, pension that all of parliament enjoy and can weather through this.

Canada is being too gentle in its initial response. Why not go full throttle right from the get go.
