I was not raised to be racist but at 67 and my family has been in Canada since 1536 , I can now say that I am racist. I do not agree with melding pot beliefs. the people being brought in to my country are NOT TRYING TO MERGE OR ADAPT “OUR” way of life. Better Rules for coming to this Country need to be implemented. like No banking outside of our banking system. no owning property until they have been in Canada for 15 years and have proven that they Support Canada not the country they Left and didn’t bother to try and work on. I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

Walmart in Windsor is full of such Indian "students". In every other aisle you would find a few of them standing and having a fun talks, not seemingly doing what they were supposed to be doing. It is a whole chaos in the store whenever you go there. You can't complaint about them because the manager they report to, happens to be Indian too in most cases. The Walmart with the courteous and efficient associates I used to go to 10 or 15 years ago is no more there ....

And too many Indian's in Canada also caused salaries in IT to go down the toilet. In the late 90's as an AS/400 computer operator I was making $23/hr. and when I left IT in 2018 I was making $15 hr. You can't tell me these big companies like HP don't love Indian workers who will work for peanuts; sure they do. And the pay rate in general IT work went down and down.

My family immigrated during the war, my grandmother came here after escaping a concentration camp when she was a little girl, her and my mother taught me to appreciate what we have, because it was worked hard for, they worked hard to make a living and a future for their families, they were given money by family that was here and paid back every, single, cent, it wasn't just given to them for free by the government while the rest of the people here suffer, so many of the people are brought here and given everything, it's like people have never heard the phrase "Give a man to fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for life." the problem is that they keep giving them fish, so now they expect it so much they damn near demand it... it sickens me. I'm a student right now, 15 years ago it felt like I lived in my home, proudly in Canada, with all kinds of people... now, I go to class, and I feel like I live on a different planet, everyone looks the same, with a hint of variety... I have lived over 15 years in Canada. I am an immigrant, and also don't like much when people bring their narrow understanding of their world, regardless of the culture. But, that doesn't equal to automatically blame the immigrants for new generations not having a job, or slavery wages. Canada is finito… if I truly could afford to, I would emigrate to another country for a better lifestyle for my kids. I can’t tell what it’s gonna be like in another 15-20 years. I arrived in Canada 25 years ago. Yes, I am an immigrant — but I embraced this country, learned its language, and built my life here. Canadians welcomed me with open arms, and I carry deep respect and gratitude for that generosity. But Canada today is not the Canada of 25, or even 15, years ago. Our nation has changed profoundly. I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

About 15 years ago, my sister in law wanted to bring her father here from South Africa; however, immigration said "no, because he was acriskbto the Canadian health system". They couldnt even bring him over even with the promise to pay out of pocket for healthcare should it be needed. I find it utterly disgusting that as a born Canadian citizen I can't get a job, proper healthcare and live in a culture where immigrants (not all if them do this) thumb their noses at us. These immigrants, in my opinion, have NO intention of learning the english language either. I can't figure out why some of them even bothered coming to Canada because they haven't left their crap where they came from. It is no wonder Poland is the way they are about Immigration.

I consider myself International( 3ed generation Canadian) because I spent half of my life working in many countries. Canada was always my home until about 15 years ago when I started feeling that thigs are changing in the wrong directions not only the immigration influx but total anti-Christian war, morality, family values, sexualization of children etc etc. its all gone to HELL !! This is not only about money and cheap labor, rather the NEW WORLD ORDER that the Western ELITES have implementing for decades. The same thing that's happening to us Canadians, it's happening to Americans, Britian, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and most of our G20 group because they all agreed to this globalization, and neoliberal policies. Now that my children graduated, I have moved them to an east European country where all my values and beliefs are still intact. I will be leaving Canada soon with a very sad heart, in my mind I will keep the Canada that I once loved. THIS IS ALL PLANNED it's not a mistake !! The countries in EU that don't allow for mass immigrants are being targeted, sanctioned, fined in the billions and are forcing to oust the governments ( Hungary, Slovakia, Poland etc )!! It's not enough because you can work 10 hours at 21$ make 210$ pay your tax your left maybe with 140$ pay 15% on any purchase your left with 115$ gas with the large lands we have maybe 10$ to 20$ per day because again it's just taxed insurance 500$ per month and rent 1200$ for one room with strangers. 8$ bag of chips 20$+ subway for a fkn sandwich. 10$beer like it's gold. Oh yeah and yesterday I saw eska(water) at 7.50$ plus fee for plastic bottles. Another tax bottles, cans, bags, batteries all taxes like it wasn't enough tax out there. Its not just the new immigrants that makes issues. Early immigrants are the ones running all the frauds and businesses and mostly new comers are victims. They are the ones working in the government as well. Most people i work with me are early immigrants or second generation. They dont vote and shows no interest. All they do is complain. Even after 15 20 years they are not integrated in to canadian society.

In the UK in 1860 7 year old boys (and girls) worked 12 hour shifts in mines and factories, most died before they had children themselves. A hundred years later in 1960 the school leaving age was 15 and life expectancy had reached 70 plus and people worked a 40 hour week with paid holidays and a pension to come in your later years. The first time in thousands of years that the average person could have a decent life and live more than an average of thirty years. We now just take that for granted and the third world instead of working to improve their own countries want to come here and live off the system we have created. Our polticians have guilt tripped us into having compassion for these people and now the shear weight of numbers is dragging us backwards and reversing 150 years gains, we are now at the point that if drastic is not taken we will be back to pre Victorian times within 10 years.
