That is a speech which will go down in history like some of Sir Winston Churchill's. It gave me courage, boosted my faith that possibly good will prevail. I spent 7 years of my childhood in Canada in the '50s. My heart is with Canada, Trudeau is a statesman in the best sense of the word.

This was an impressive speech and chilling to the bone. People should understand the undertone that this already is the first stage of a war. America is not talking friendly anymore to Europe or Canada, the alliance is questionable now at best, treaties don't matter anymore and the US government openly supports and defends totalitarian regimes like in Russia. It's a dangerous path that has a point of no return somewhere along the way. It is absolutely the time to be very worried and alert.

As a Canadian who won’t be voting Liberal mostly because of Trudeau , this is one of his best speeches and I’m glad he’s standing up for us!

I personally think Poilievre has turned woke but he has been brainwashed by today's society. DEI should be removed, no trans women in women's sports , no men in women's changing rooms. You should not be charged with hate speech if you misgender someone. That's a short list.

I grew up under communism, so logically as soon I got away, was looking for a free and democratic country. Back then the West and Canada was a different country/ value system. No freedom left, the restrictions on speech is worse now than under communism, also the presence of the surveillance state getting more obvious. Covid tyranny should be an eye opener for everyone. Talking about the mystery why average dead rate went up suddenly still a no-no. The best way to illustrate how bad direction Canada is heading, Ukrainian refugees are leaving Canada! Of course they don't go back to die for US geopolitical intersts, but try to settle in a European country.

Consider republic Islamic of Mauritania though I can't say it's the best choice but not that bad for children islamic education. Dubai is a great choice but I am not sure there's a librity of speech in golf cities or countries in general. Our Health Care system is broken. We have very bad doctors and insane wait times. Our Health Care is tax funded and it's impossible to sue the hospital if they misdiagnose or mistreat an illness. When you pay for your doctor you will get the best care. Not up here though. One thing per visit and you must see a medical clinic first, if you can get an appointment. My last 2 visits were 14h wait times, and that's at the biggest hospital in BC. \n\nWe don't have free speech. We heavily tax our poorest people. Our gas is over $2 a liter. Food is very expensive especially at fast food places and restaurants. \n\nOur internet is third world at best but with some of the highest data costs in the world. \n\nWe have a run on our borders and our infrastructure is bursting at the seams. We put the needs of other countries before our own. Could be a good thing but not when helping the world is making it harder and harder for those born here to actually live and thrive here.

Today I would say non of these places I live in Ontario and it cost so much for everything and if u want a small home that u would think costs 200grand nope it’s 1.2 mill and it’s prob a fixer upper too we also have a government that keeps tightening it’s strangle hold on the common people we are literally be ruled by a little Puttin internet tv free speech is all being taken away slowly and the tax on everything is getting out of control u may have a good job but your take home gets smaller and smaller because the government keeps pissing our money away with programs and sceems that don’t get finished they also pay there own news outlet the cbc 1.5 billon yearly to push all of these agendas it’s insane btw the single best attribute for Ontario is it’s near ocean size bodies of water we are Surrounded by that are nearly all interconnected
