As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. Of course he wasn't able to accomplish his plan before after you guys impeached him. How the hell can a leader complete its plan after being halted unprecedentedly amid his administration? Kamala Harris looks promising but not convincing. Aura, although unquantifiable, do speak something. Choose your leader and it will choose your fate. Let's hear what the two sides will share this upcoming debate. If I'm American, whoever wins that debate, wins my heart. As easy as that. You see, if someone can be defeated so easily in his or her country through debate, do you think that whoever that someone who wins will be able to compete globally? Sounds to me like we need to build an international jail that houses international criminals. Old mother India has out spawned its own pond..Its country CANNOT and DOES not offer a future to its people. Thats a failure by any normal standards. What gets me is, just how many millions have just arrived in other countries in the world. Their numbers and communities exported and imported so solidly everywhere. Within 2 years here in the uk, I am sure there are now, somehow more Indians here than ALL the other groups put together. It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

Canada is a success story. It’s not broken, but our governance practices and our government institutions are in urgent need of repair. Over many years, successive federal governments and generations of public servants have played a key role in setting the nation’s policy direction, working productively with the private sector and provinces on shared issues, and delivering for Canadians. As a child from Northen Europe ?? I remember when my grandmother told me about our distant relatives living in Canada ( due to war) and how powerful, rich and fair country this is and that everyone has good life there. Now, 25-30yrs later everything has changed. Big part of Europe and Northern-America aren’t the same anymore due to mass immigration. Even my own country with only 1,3 million population ( Estonian 69.1%, Russian 23.7%, Ukrainians etc). We have taken in quite a lot ukrainian war refugees, who atleast share the same values as we do. But I still see a lot of people in the street wearing burkas and our demographic is changing. People need to stand up for theirselves and protect their countries heritage and culture or otherwise there won’t be anything left for our children. My parents/ elders fought for their right to become free country and Estonia took back it’s independence in 1991.

Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example. \n\nPregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect. \n\nThe drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs. \n\nThe protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. Those students were not enrolled in any colleges and came to Canada on fake documents. \n\nI agree that Canada is very difficult for immigrants to come and build at this point. This wasnt the case 10 years back. But this is true to only densely populated cities. Everyone wants to go to Toronto and Vancouver so it has made the situation tough in those cities. But there are other provinces and cities that are still easy to settle down and build your life. \n\nCanadian locals being not immigrant friendly is not whole truth. Some % of locals yes they are fed up of too much immigration but do search for videos or news article of Indian students in Brampton fighting and you will get the answer on why some of the Canadian locals are being wary about immigrants now a days. \n\nIt is hard to settle down in Canada yes. There is only one way to fix the system that leads to this problem, they are all integrated. We need cooperation and this is only possible with trust, known as faith. Not only do we need faith in each other we have to have faith in God because it is through our shared faith in God that we can extend this faith to his people. Only Christians can accept this and they do not accept it fully, which is why we are in the problems we are. This is a very general comment, the specifics are available. The church is a cooperative. We cared so much about their suffering and wanted to help. We couldnt end the war in their countries so we offered them a safe place to share in our home (country) so they could build a life and live in peace. It's great that people want to come here and study, but... When you come here and abuse the rules and work well beyond the limits of your work permit and work double and triple the amount of hours that is not ok. Another issue is when you take only business courses and then fail out just you didn't actually get any skills that are needed in this county to allow you to stay after your schooling. If you follow the rules, great! Come learn and work and share our culture for your school term, but if you don't want to follow the rules...

I got a chance to get shifted to North America 24 years ago. By then I had reached a CXO level job in India and that company gave me a choice. I decided it was good in India, and my salary went up as the years went by. In USD terms I might have got lesser than in NA, but in purchasing power, I got more, I think.\n\nThen India's growth after Y2k happened and I got other jobs, and participated in stock options with start-ups with dynamic founders (India has a decent VC-PE network now, especially for technology people). 5 years ago I decided no need to work and be on my own, doing stuff I always wanted do, but income was more priority. Today I realise most of new wealth is being created in India: new ideas, new services, products, delivery systems, etc: all being thought of in India. Why go abroad, except for a vacation?\n\nToday I have a fairly substantial net worth that got created through those wealth sharing jobs and I realize when I visit NA, that I would never have got this, not unless I had been there for a long time, and certainly not in Canada - that's pretty clear.\n\nToday, India is the place where wealth is being made. If you have a product or service that is successful, or are a part of such an enterprise and get to share in the value creation (that's a risk, not a given, not guaranteed), India is the place to be. And by going out of India, you are taking a risk, this is no different, except we know India in our blood.\n\nIf you are entrepreneurial, or have the risk taking capacity to work with an entrepreneur and share his risk with stock participation, there a great probability you will do very, very well in India.\n\nThe biggest upside: YOU are now developing India!

Here i will share with you a real and most resent experience i have encountered two weeks ago.\nThere was a well advertised job fair held at the Vancouver downtown campus of the community college. The job fair was organized by work BC\n Out of curiosity i went there. There was a massive line of students and immigrants ranging from the age of 20 + to 40 +\n\n I would think that most people in line were at the very least grads of VCC ( Vancouver Community College) which offers now diploma programs training and even 4 years bachelor and professional degrees. I spoke to several people while in line they were immigrants with Canadian MBA , some had engineering digress and yet were jobless. BY the time we made it to the job fair room ( it took us nearly 2 hours of waiting) and that is where shock started. There were literally 6-7 shitty unknown employers from tiny small businesses that were offering nearly minimum wage jobs. \nThere were no banking recruiters, no business companies, no engineering or social services, nor tech companies or health care reps ! This is clearly an ample proof of the politically constructed myth about a supposedly shortage of labour and high hiring needs of the companies !

The great failure of multi-culturalism. It divides people and leads to conflict and ghettos. We need a multi ethnic mono culture with common shared values.

In my city (Windsor, Ontario) we have a college and university that have literally set up “recruitment” centres IN INDIA. I don’t blame the foreigners for coming here, they do it legally and honestly a bunch that I have talked to are struggling themselves.. I’m talking like, 12 guys to a small shared living space (which also negatively effects rent prices.. especially where I live) They expect to come here for a better life but they’re just thrown in the mix with those of us who are already drowning. \n\nThe government just stopped caring about its citizens and it’s really scary. They take the immigrants money and our taxes and they’re content.\nA friend was asked to leave a job fair because it was over capacity.. getting even a minimum wage job is damn near impossible now. \n\nAlso, question, I heard the reason that all minimum wage jobs (fast food restaurants, Walmart etc.) are only hiring Indians is because the government reimburses the employer half of their wage. I tried to do some research on this but couldn’t find anything.. is this true and being kept hush-hush? If it is, we need more people to speak out on this.

This country is a joke. As a Canadian living abroad. Other countries take care of their own long before a foreigner. Canada needs to have more pride with the people who built this country which is Canadians who have paid their dues and their parents. If you're a refugee we shouldn't deny you a plate of food but if my neighbor doesn't have it I'll serve him long before you, these are my people - the ones who has supported me in periods of unemployment, childhood - you can pay your dues too or don't come here. Look to your neighboring countries who share the same creed and where you can integrate better as you come here for our services. I still remember, I was working in a hotel as a front desk employee,\nFew refugees were staying in a hotel for free, which 1 room costs around $150 per night during 2018.\n\nAfter a few months, they got a home, I personally did shuttle and dropped them off on their new home,\n\nThey had Couches, 3 bedrooms, TV, and microwave all the basic electronics which are needed for a daily basis for free.\n\nAnd again, after 3 or 4 months, I saw him in a parking lot with having BMW owned by him.\n\nI was so disappointed that I was working 16 to 18 hours a day and barely afford to live in sharing places,\n\nAnd these guys never paid taxes, got homes and money from the government. ???

As someone living in Quebec I can confirm.. housing prices just seem unreasonable for someone with a modest income. pretty much had to keep living with family and pay them a rent that is liveble with.. Heard other people who can't count of family had to share single person appartments with friends and sometimes even random people in similar situation. Its honestly terrifying to think about potentially having no home despite getting a modest income..\nThe medical scene is probably a bit better but still not that great looking. Quebec had (dunno how it works in other provinces) a system of Family doctors that the medical system sort of relied on. yet there is barely no family doctors left. I can't buy the meds I need without a doctor giving me the prescription but I no longer have a family doctor for the last 5 years. I've been jumping through hoops and all just to get somehow to extend or give me another year of prescription.. I need those meds for life though....\nFood situation.. I guess sure the prices have increase but for the most part we(me and family) are still hanging on fine. However restaurents have gotten too pricy so we had to cut luxury out of our life.

Why not have a government program that pays new immigrants to build housing? Denmark has a program of simple, affordable housing for single parents where there is a shared large kitchen and everyone participates in making dinner 2 X a month and doing clean up 2 X a month, but you get dinner as a group every night. It's great for working parents, plus there are built in friends for the kids. We need more cohousing options.

You don't normally rent a $2600 2-Bedroom Apartment on your own in Toronto. You share and split. Despite that, and 2 people making each $50,000 a year - tax, it is a bit hard to make ends meet. You need money to enjoy life, just like in those crazy expensive American cities. And you shouldn't be spending more than 40% of your income on rent. There are ways of saving but buying a home in Toronto is unaffoardable. Better think of Kingston, Ottawa, Brockville... where it is way cheaper with some good paying jobs sometimes depending what your field of expertise is.

I think Canada needs waaay more international students for real. Maybe something could be set up that they also build into housing as well some kind of newER 2024 program that is weaved into housing to help them get place to stay and also to build for them self and after school projects or like flow and around sharing renting and working making money whole studying. Canada is definitely smart enough to realize that they can set something up for international students to make things work on all levels.

i have friends in their early 20s who cant get jobs and friends with well paying jobs who cant get a place of their own and have to house-share with roommates. it is disheartening seeing international students in this video complain that they cant get housing or jobs, but neither can canadians. the housing market needs to catch up to the population and demand but cant if it is outpaced unfortunately, which is the case for many other countries we are seeing making changes to immigration because of the population boom (such as the uk). some of these campuses should really consider taking those millions and investing them into campus housing if they want students so much

well said. If you do not like the culture and values of a place, no hard feelings, if you can afford to leave, you should indeed live in a place that makes you happy. The western liberal democracy provides everything with freedom of choice and that is not something that many orthodox muslim families want - they not only want Islamic values and lifestyle, they want others around them to live these too.
