We Canadians are being invaded by millions of Muslims under the leadership of our dictator Justin Trudeau. Canada is no longer the country I grew up in. Our identity is fading fast, we are a country that harbours terrorists and their supporters, it’s only a matter of time before we have a terrorist attack much larger than we can even imagine. Not only are these new Canadians disrespectful to females but to our land as well, Wasaga beach and elsewhere in Canada it is not uncommon for them to openly defecate. Our Tim Hortons coffee shops used to be a great place, not anymore. Justin Trudeau and the Liberal party did this to us and it may be too late to fix. The Americans have enough problems at their southern border and they should be very careful who they allow in from the northern border. A lot of them hate America, hate the western way of life and hate each other.

I'm an indian and the place i worked hired so lmia from india and laid us off ,these people were running interviews and rejecting Canadians while hiring temporary workers from Canada and india who used to clock 60-80 hours of work in India and here.Companies love slavery and hate worker rights to be frank,they charge clients Canadian rates and pay pennies making huge profits, all the LMIAs are now permanent residents what a joke ,i heard even low paying jobs people on temporary work visa in canada and india pay 30K -50 K to the employers names are tim hortons franchisee ,firehouse sub,subway and every franchisee owned by an indian owner ,he posts the jobs on some yellow pages and tells the government he couldn't find a coffe maker in Canada and there is a queue in India especially punjab and gujarat where people sell their assets and pay for lmia,the next government if they audit lmias and pnp im sure it would be favorable for people who did they hardwork of going thru the right chanel

Reason is because Government bringing sooo many Indian students nonstop compared to other countries the job market is saturated with Indians working in every Tim hortons not other races. They dont know English and very poor customer service. So naturally Canadians hate this situation. Government has to stop bringing vast Indian population to this country.

The reason they don't want to speak is because they can't speak English. Their command of the language is so poor yet they want to stay in Canada. Majority came through the student visa route as a means to get a work permit. They are abusing our system. These people must be sent home asap and our immigration system must be changed. Immigration agents who make promises they can't keep must have their licences revoked. We don't need anymore Tim Horton's workers. Tim Horton's and alike should invest in tech that allows for a less labor intensive option. Our govt. is either too blind or pandering to their corporate donors to the detriment of Canadians. Our youth unemployment rate is running at over 14% and yet the govt. issues these foreigners work permits. Disgusting.

I hope indians will reflect of what they're doing, like indian students, i see some of them don't pay on the bus, i had experienced when we were waiting in line in bus station, i see them cutting line, they were lucky because Canadians are polite, and just let it go, one time an indian male driver parks his car on where the bus pass through in bus station, in tim Hortons most of the time they give us the wrong order, and i always had a stomach Ache when i eat at tims, but i never had problems when i order from other coffee shops, only at tims, and in our neighborhood they throw their garbage on the side of train rails, and it was clean before the indian immigrants move in in our neighborhood? There not coming here for education, its a joke , reality check....800 million Indians only make $2 a day in India, there here to stay and then they bring there wife's, parents ,children, etc under compassionate grounds. Many things to unpack. Australia, which is similar to Canada, is having similar issues. The gov does not monitor at all and only actioned when the UN reported a new slave class was being created. Many students from India don’t have funds to study abroad. Universities got hooked on international students and Tim Hortons got hooked on cheap labour. The entire Canadian system is f’d up. At the least, international students should not be allowed to work here. If they really came to study in Canada, thry better study and do not go to Food banks and collect free ration or work in Tim Hortons to make money. If they came to canada as students it means they hail from filthy-rich families otherwise how can they afford? If it is so, why do they have to work here? Local students are not getting jobs. Agree with every word… I am a Punjabi Canadian and have been here for over 18 years. Indians are embarrassing- the square isn’t your Khalsa college fest. I have seen Indians abusing food banks, healthcare, tax dollars. The students who buy cars drive rash, rude customer service at Tim Hortons and other grocery stores. You have left india for a reason- so learn the Canadian culture and try and integrate.

Canada needs Doctors , Lawyers, Dentist, professional trades. We don’t need one million tim hortons or retail workers, our kids need those jobs. Put Canadians first , then let in some professional immigrants.

What's not being addressed is how temporary foreign workers were once relegated to to agricultural and fisheries work but are working for many exploitive employers who care about nothing more than having the lowest payroll, mainly fast-food and retail. Every time someone say something about Indians they pull the racist cards. Going through Tim Hortons is like a struggle for them. They can’t multitask. What about our kids that are here. Give them PR. We need workers in Tim hortons, McD and security staff. Also truck drivers. These are the jobs that Canadians hesitate to do. As a business owner, its the immigrants that give us profit. They are ready to work for minimum wage, will pick up shifts on call on weekends and does not whine about stuff. Immigrants are the backbone of the food chain industry.

As a Canadian citizen from an Immigrant background myself, I’m all for Immigration. However, Immigration cannot be coming for the vast majority from a single country, which is India, as per Immigration Canadada own stats, 70% of international students visa were delivered to Indian students, what about the rest of the world ???? Everywhere you go you see indians, dollarama, tim hortons, walmart, and indians are not discrete. I Love Indians and your culture , It’s not only Tim Hortons with predominantly Indian staff, Popeyes Fried Chicken in Stouffville was fully staffed with Indians . The problem some Canadians have is a non coloured or non Indian job application wouldn’t get a look in at those franchises.

I have lived in Canada for 50 years, and its important to remember why the TFW (Temp Foreign Workers) were needed in the first place, namely a lot of (wealthy) Fast Food franchise owners were unable to run their businesses due to a shortage of a reliable workforce, the Tim Horton's beside me closed in 2022 due to 100% turnover and poor customer service, and that was the fate of many other franchisees, since White Canadians view the fast food industry as a stepping stone to better jobs, much to the chagrin of millionaire franchisees, and i dont mean that negatively, you have to be rich to buy a franchise licence in the first place, and now they wont even hire White canadians, since they can pay TFWs less than the minimum wage, so it was used as a tool for wage suppression, and the TFWs are viewed as scabs who are helping to keep wages down and that is fueling racism.

Most large Canadian cities look like upscale Indian cities. The number of new arrivals is absolutely mind boggling. You can walk around a neighborhood for half an hour and not hear a word of English. It’s ridiculous. There was never a labor shortage, it was a wage shortage. Instead of allowing the market to adjust for wages, Stephen Harper came up with the TFW program to keep wages low. The liberals made it even worse. Tim Hortons never struggled to staff the restaurants, they just weren't willing to pay the wages that citizens required in order to survive in their markets. End this ridiculous TFW program and let the market correct itself. If a company can't afford to pay Canadians Canadian wages, they don't belong in Canada doing business.

I work in small towns across Canada and over the years, I’ve seen these charming towns, such as a Yellowknife, Whitehorse, Meadow Lake Saskatchewan, turn into Punjab . And sadly as much as the Punjabi culture is fascinating, Punjabi people do not have Canadian ways, nor are they skilled in our national languages, which makes it very difficult for Canadians to interact with them, or get served by them at the service jobs. Just ordering a coffee at Tim Hortons. It has become stressful. Nine out of 10 times I’ll get the order wrong because of language barriers. I am all for multiculturalism, but there is no more Canadian identity left in Canada.

Public demands dictate labour markets....Canadians love Tim Hortons but do not wish to work there so if Canadians contine to have a fetish for coffee and donuts there will be a labour market shortage of these skill sets.

That first comment saying we don’t need a million more Ubers drivers and Tim Hortons workers doesn’t come across very well. Lots of people coming here are highly educated. \nOn the other hand. Tims hires immigrants because the typical “Canadian” minimum wage worker doesn’t show up to shifts, are late frequently, or have poor work ethics. Immigrants are reliable because they don’t have a plan b or anyone to fall back on if they don’t have money coming in.

I live in rural Atlantic Canada. There is lots and lots of land not being used. People driving long distances from their huge single family home to get to town or the city. If no Canadians are moving to the country side to start homesteads, then why not immigrants. I don't see the point of someone moving to a local small town to work in a Tim Hortons or not if there is no job available and buy franken foods from huge corporations. Instead if some immigrants want a homesteading life (some probably would), give people grants to make apartments in their huge single family farmhouses left from the days when people had ten kids, and subdivide their land so the new people can farm it. The local people can get rent money and payment for the subdivision and still have a large plot of land left over). Grow the local farmers markets! Grow the small towns to what they were 100 years ago! Make it so people only had to drive to the city when they wanted to, not for work. There is so so much empty land out here used for massive lawns.

Yeah I'm sorry to tell you this is not going to change anything. Anything that's being said is not going to change. They're here and they're going to keep coming until the government changes. As a son of an immigrant, immigration is not the issue. Quality immigration is. These days all Canada is bringing in are students that make college and university owners rich and keeps businesses like Tim Horton's running with low spending. While the big corporations get rich, every Canadian is being hurt.

I am an immigrant myself , cameto canada 15 years ago from India as a student. Back then we dint come to get PR but to improve our skills , there was really only 4 universities we all came to UoT, mcgill, Uof A and BC, to do our postgraduate studies in engineering, medicine and business. We applied only when we got full or partial scolarship….. i now work in a canadian base cmpany as mid level engineering manager. .. the quality of indian students coming in has gone down …kids enrolling in diploma mills and their strategy is to work in tim hortons, because the paid 25 k for tution they are entitled to pr and a job … crazy

I was born in Canada in the 80s. My parents are from India. So call me racist if it gets you off. My ass is browner than yours probably. \nMy parents, and my uncles and aunts who came here in the late 1970s had to work their asses off to prove they were worthy of even ENTERING Canada, let alone to live in the country. ALL of my older male relatives who came to Canada at that time had a PhD in a science related field or was a medical doctor. EVEN then, they had to go through years of re-training in Canadian schools in order to have a shot at PR. And they persevered and did it, and did well. \nNow, anyone and their dog is allowed in, and it's kind of an insult to all my relatives had to accomplish in order to build a life here. They had to earn doctorates and medical degrees TWICE (once in India and again in Canada).\nWell, that generation did well, and now we're the kids who are grateful and enjoying the sacrifice they put in. What will the kids of illiterate, minimum wage workers be like? Probably not so good.\nCanada's probably done. But does the average Canadian have any desire to do anything. Nope. They used to value hard work and ambition when I was growing up but Canadian culture has become lack of ambition, and entitlements just for existing. \nSo, at least I was raised with the idea of working to no end and sacrificing in order to accomplish something in life. Now, I have the resources to live where I like and do. LMAO Tim Hortons will survive just fine, just as they've done for many decades before this Mass wave of immigration was allowed to drown the entire country. Typically Tim Hortons was high school or summer student employees with a few lifers that managed to climb the ranks and stayed for whatever reason and became managers or overnight bakers. Tim Hortons is a Canadian staple and sure as hell wasn't built off the back of foreign immigrants ?

As a Canadian, I do not find myself or my neighbours resenting immigrants but rather the lack of social planning (housing in particular) that is behind part of this immigration policy. Several new immigrants are leaving Canada within 5 years, finding it too expensive and hard to get ahead, estimates range up to 30%. At the same time many of these new immigrants are the hardest working and doing some of our lowest payed jobs, go in to Tim Horton’s and you will see.

My main issue with our country allowing so many immigrants into the country is that many of these immigrants from India seem to come to buy businesses up and sponsor their families and friends to live in Canada and work in their businesses which makes it extremely difficult to get basic minimum wage jobs. \nI’ve seen it first hand in my small town, I worked at a Tim Horton’s that was owned by Canadian owners but was sold halfway through my employment to an Indian family and slowly but surely all of the original Canadian workers, including the many young workers (high schoolers) we had employed were pushed out of the business, laid off, given less shifts in favour of giving the Indian employees more shifts. \nI had applied to become manager when my manager quit, I had worked there for a year and instead of promoting me (Because it just would have made sense because I know the job and live very close) An indian man was hired from a city 30 minutes away who’s never worked at a Tim Horton’s and barely spoke English. He was totally sexist to all the young female workers and treated them horribly. He never spoke English on the floor when our staff started to hire more Indian workers. \nIt’s becoming insane.

It is a myth that Canadian education is good. I studied in Regina. I found teachers are Phd but they don't know how to teach. I went to study AI there but I found YouTube is better than the college where I study. I wasted CAD17000 there. No Jobs, No Career. Indian students are just working at Tim Horton, Walmart, Canadian Tire, and local restaurants to get PR and spoil their lives by becoming low-wage labor. This is harsh reality there.

I have noticed many establishments, including Tim Hortons, only hire Indian people. Seems unCanadian and racist, contrary to our values. I know they are good hedworking students paying a fortune for their education in Canada. But dont Canadians need to work also?
