I’m in Vancouver at the mo, been here for several months over the past year (from London, UK) … I don’t think this is much of a problem (check the size of the ‘crowd’ at the beginning) in reality, just blown up by the usual handful of RW windbags … it’s diverse and friendly here … sure they need to build more houses … just do it, this is Canada ffs, not the uk … population density in Canada overall is about 4 persons per sq km, in the UK it’s around 280 … and I don’t think that the UK is even full, in reality. Governments need to stop pandering to the landlord class (of which too many politicians are a part and profit from the status quo)

Old mother India has out spawned its own pond..Its country CANNOT and DOES not offer a future to its people. Thats a failure by any normal standards. What gets me is, just how many millions have just arrived in other countries in the world. Their numbers and communities exported and imported so solidly everywhere. The place has no time or space to think. Blink and your place has gone. In every sense: social opportunities, place in queues job opportunities(as they set up internal networks that u are excluded from) aka as smugglers and their smuggled, housing bidding, corrupting of housing laws, benefit fraud all massive problems for local authorities and larger government overall. Under clearer terms and better conditions and planning Im with migration as a theme. Mass intinction to enable mass migration lol maybe less so!! Good luck to us all, we need it. I am disappointed with this video. The problems mentioned here are in USA and UK as well. We form opinions based on our experiences. I have no complaints against Healthcare as I was operated in few hours in emergency and never had to wait long for diagnostic tests. Education in Canada is affordable compared to US. Air and Food quality is great. People are extremely friendly. Yes, the housing crisis is there especially post Covid but hoping the market will correct gradually. In my experience, every country has pros n cons and one needs to make a choice between their home country and Canada comparing both based on one's priorities and preferences.Canada changed our lives in so many good ways and my whole family appreciates it. Canada is ovetall a nice country. And it's not easy to get PR. If you get , it's luck n hardships to settle in any new country.

Agreed with all your points and thanks for sharing. But honestly, I fail to understand two points here. 1. People living in Canada and commenting that it is true and they are baffled with this whole situations, when exactly you are coming back to India? People will tell you that they want to come back but no one will. It is because those who actually left for Canada in order to have a better lifestyle are still having a better lifestyle in Canada and they will never return back (atleast in the near future). They left for Canada citing the reasons that India is polluted and they are toured based on religion (you know exactly whom I am talking about) but whatever the case is...they are still not coming back. 2. No country is perfect, I agree that Canada has its own problems to deal with but then why Indians are leaving for US, UK and Australia where racisms and cost of living high too? It is because they have issues with India too and those who have issues with a well diverse and prospered country like India, will have problems in other country as well. So if you don't wanna come to Canada, all good but other countries have same problems as well (atleast 80% matches the points discussed in the video - exclude drug ofcouse).

The NHS in UK sounds similar to that of Canada. Same picture here as well. I faced skin problem and tried to reach out to doctor. But never made is theough due to not availability of appointments. So send pictures instead and got medicine from India.

I’m also from Canada, everything stated is very true. Education is not that great as compared to what fees we pay, think again before coming. Job currently isn’t available. Part time is also hard. In part time, you will earn to complete your housing and accommodation allowance but will not able to collect for your college fees. Just count it yourself, $17.5 per hour is minimum wage and for 24 hours per week. Also minus taxes from it. If you are planning somewhere near Toronto or Vancouver, please stay way. You can try going New Brunswick either. It’s cheaper as compared.\n\nHowever, did you notice something about all the commonwealth countries, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, etc etc. they all are facing the same problem. So, hold on your horses. Research before going. People do go different countries, might be Japan, and other countries. Canada feels like its becoming like Great Britain, an absoulte nightmare to live and have any hope! I thought about coming to beautiful Canada as had fond memories back in 2004 but it seems like most things after 2008 crash most countries are becoming a nightmare to have a decent lifestyle! Ok Doug downer or Debbie downer. I was just in the UK, Sweden, Spain, Italy, the USA and Australia in the last 1.5 yrs. I was staying with friend/relative and believe me the 'Health Care' crisis is the same in all, the 'inflation' crisis is the same in all, the 'housing crisis' is the same in all. So before you go downer on my country..........make sure you do your homework and look at other countries. There is a similar trend in most 'top' countries. The UK, France, USA, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and most of the EU is a mess and also has it problems!

They aren't good investments and both a recession and a housing crash are necessary to lower prices. \n\nLet me say something about the housing crisis - it's not immigration. Canadians are overleveraged. Many own second, third and fourth properties that they rent out. Once they have to renew into the teeth of higher rates you'll start to see a correction like what we saw in the 1980s. Couple that with higher unemployment and you have a recipe for a crash. Everyone wants lower house prices -- until we get them. Go try to renew your 600,000k mortgage on your million-dollar house that's now worth $800,000. \n\nHealth care is a problem - but where isn't it? The UK? The US? Problem with Canada is colleges and universities are not funded like US. For Engineering and STEM, US government and private companies like Intel/Microsoft/Qualcomm and many more spends million on research projects, and although US does rely on international students to fund students its not desperate like Canada. Besides, US has many college towns, no housing crisis like Canada and has robust economy. I studied in US free of cost with monthly stipend, fully funded by one such research grant. \nStudents should also realize sooner or later, especially in tech, that countries like Canada, NZ, Australia and UK are no. match for the United States. But then Indian students know in US they would never get green card. Canada/Australia/NZ were built like colonies, they don't have infrastructure- cities, roads, houses, airports, hospitals or even good colleges for such heavy immigration. They can take only limited immigrants in small busts.

I moved to Vancouver from the UK, but moved back home to the UK. Struggled so much to make ends meet. However, thinking of moving back to Canada to a different area to give it another go. Who knows what will happen, but it has similar problems to the UK I find.

I think these problems have come to plague almost all big cities in the developed countries in the last decade. Canada, like Australia, the UK,, USA, NZ, Netherlands etc is still cursed with the millstone of the failed political ideologies of the last forty or so years. These mitigate against the solutions: the end of mass immigration and a huge home building program. Expensive housing is the root of the problem.

Honestly, I moved in from the EU into the UK a few years ago, I live in a rural area so rent itself isn't the problem, I recently lost my job and can't get any now, it's embarrassing, both to me and the UK.
