We lived in Canada for a while , we did buy properties and thought we will settle here but thank god we got some sense that this is not a sensible country and we have lived in many country’s and let me say this - there’s no country like India and we have come back ??????️ also our key places or theertha kshetras are in India and we don’t want to bring up a kids in western way and I want them to be true Hindu in every sense.

Canada has become so ugly, it's full of sky scrapers in major cities, we have way too many Fake refugees that Trudeau let in, in large number in such a short time. The politicians are corrupt to the core because they're all bought by The WEF. The price of housing is unreal for crappy homes and apartments, the health sector is the pits, and many people don't even have a family, doctor and like you say people die on the corridor of hospital without even having been checked thoroughly at the E.R. Heavy traffic, low wages, unaffordable food prices, corruption at the highest level in the Govt., no real services for people that experience distress in this dystopia and censorship that is beyond this world. People either rise and change things as there is no political solution in this shitty Banana Republic.

Who were in Canada before white people migrated there? The Indigenous people went from being the ethnic majority to getting wiped out and white people claimed the country as their own. So it is ironic that white people are upset another ethnic group is now the majority. Canada, US and Australia are not white people countries. They murdered the Indigenous population and claimed these countries as theirs. They tried the same thing in many parts of Africa. Let me put it this way...Brampton is mostly Indians right? Let's imagine in 50 to 100 years it is completely Indian and the white people who lived there before are almost non existent except fora few. I am not even Canadian, although I have visited many times and enjoyed their hospitality. Nothing pisses me off more than the entitled, disgruntled immigrant. Your country sucks because of the people who live there. We are not here to make your life better or conform to your ways. We are wealthy, have amazing land mass, a high standard of living, with many many many races and ethnicities.... I just love this place. Sure, governments are often lazy and stupid. Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. Smh… Some peeps gotta talk apples when I’m talking oranges…as their rebuttal doesn’t quite respond in proper context to my statement. So let me be clear: the Aboriginal People have absolutely every single right to be disgruntled and complain if any nation is to do so especially after having been swindled and bamboozled out of their land and space and way of life. This is why if any nation/ group is expected to raise up and fuss and complain it’s the Natives/Indigenous People. The circumstances are not even remotely near the same here with Canadians today versus what the Aboriginals went through pre-European Canada. We don’t even need to go there. Naturally, any one particular group that occupies a certain space and then has said space slowly taken over by another group/nation will be displeased to say the least and it is their right to complain. Truly no one nation or group can occupy any land or space forever as no one truly owns the land to begin with. Who’s disputing that?? So why even complain at all over something we don’t even truly own, even though we have somewhat of a right to do so?? The world is gradually becoming more of a melting pot of different races of people. And needless to state, Canada is a country of many nations and it would be very unbecoming of any minority immigrant to be here and be racist towards and complain about the other ethnicities/minorities here. Hence what triggered my comment in the first place. Immigrants wanna boldly come here and change things to suit them. This is Canada! And that’s not how things work here. Why come to my home and then complain about the occupants? Just go back where you came from. Period!

Since 2016, many International Students started coming to Canada and they moved to Brampton in particular so they wouldn't have to assimilate into Canadian way of life. I'm a Punjabi kid born and raised in Canada, who grew up in Brampton. Brampton has gone to the shits post 2017/2018 when all these International Students invaded Brampton. The older Punjabi families are moving out of Brampton and are moving to other towns, while some of them rent out their old homes in Brampton to International Students. Old Punjabis are suffering from this the most, maybe you should've interviewed Canadian born Punjabis or Punjabis who have been in Canada for dozens of years instead of interviewing some new comers and a couple crackheads. Not only are these new International Students fucking up the neighbourhoods we've been living in, they've ruined our reputation that our parent's/grandparent's generation worked their ass off to establish in Canada. Maybe Trudeau or whoever the fuck is in charge, should raise their standards of what kind of International Students can enter Canada and have a more difficult English proficiency test. Canada wants Internation Student money, but at what cost? They let in a bunch of buffoons who have no respect to the Canadian way of life.\n\nThat being said, you kind of showed a biased perspective, you interviewed a bunch of crackheads in downtown Brampton. The Sikh Gurdwara you showed actually feeds 100s of homeless people everyday. Gurdwaras all over Canada are contributing more to society than any other religious establishment including Churches. Sikh Gurdwaras give free food to anyone who visits the temple, even during corona virus they would give out packages of free food. I've seen many homeless people getting their food packed from Gurdwaras.

From a FRENCHMAN\nWe all complain about immigrants coming but there are 2 things we forget: 1. As long as we Europeans keep putting people that we’ve our interests down there, those countries will be deteriorating and people will keep coming up here in Europe or even in the US for Central Americans! 2. Let’s say we kick the butt of our migrants back to where they are from… well… we can do that for sure… but who cleans our office, who does the tough jobs for us while not complaining about lower pays and tougher conditions? Who build our stupid buildings here in Europe or even in America?? Who???? And who clean our toilets? If you guys want to kick immigrants, feel free to do so, but beforehand, tell your sons and your daughters to take onto those immigrant jobs! Tell our European and American or even Canadian kids to do those lousy jobs! With the spoiled way we raised them, how many would be candidate??? All of our kids all want to be “big boss” and earn 80k or 130k per year!!! Let those 49k jobs be for legal brown, black and yellow immigrants and let those fruit picking and construction work be for barely legal immigrants… \nThis is why I am leaving Canada soon as I am fed up with this hypocrit and superficial culture that is obsessed with money and where u gotta work work work and get everything you saved to ou taxes!! Fed up with the lousy and inefficient Canadian healthcare and transportation system (Europe has a much better one for sure). Singapore Airlines is an absolute treat to fly on. I gather in a microcosm, it is interesting to compare Air Canada and Singapore airline or all Nippon airways, with Air Canada. Air Canada is very expensive for a one or two hour flight, not so in Southeast Asia. Air Canada service is horrible, intimidating, and nasty. Singapore airlines and all Nippon airways, is exactly the opposite. Air Canada makes it very difficult for you too make claims on cancelled flights, broken luggage, and breaches of contract. Singapore airlines and other airlines in Southeast Asia go out of their way to advert a claim. The taxes on a ticket with Canada is horrendous, both indirect and direct taxes, in Singapore and all Nippon airways, much more reasonable. I think when you compare to airlines or multiple airlines against Air Canada, Air Canada is a microcosm of economics, workplace normality, and courteousness. Canadians will always say “I am sorry. “but let me assure you for somebody that is both, culturally Asian and Canadian, they don’t mean it a bit. The culture is more passive aggressive than anything else. Canadians are distant, and have a very, very remote education on their own country. I also have to give credit to the Singaporean pilots. There is usually the captain, first officer, and a second officer or two upfront. Excellent training for the up-and-coming first officers and captains. In Canada, of course we don’t do this. I feel at the safety upfront, especially in an IFR environment, is being sacrificed in Canada and North America. cost is everything, will safety seems like it has taken a backseat. Second officers should be mandatory on all Air Canada flights. This is not the case anymore. Also, on a visual approach to hit the button, I would definitely give the Singapore captain the edge. The hands and feet of an air. Canada pilot has deteriorated beyond belief where, if they don’t have their flight management system and auto pilot going in full tilt, they start sweating and second-guessing themselves. I’ve witnessed this many times.

Jobs? Work?!! Pay taxes? Contribute?!! What?!! Many of the “asylum seekers” came to Canada to take; not to contribute anything to Canada. There is sooooo much wrong with this I can’t even begin. I will say that I work in retail in a small town with no college or university in our town and we’ve had a lot of Indian students come in to ask if we’re hiring with resume in hand and calling the store as well. It’s way out of hand how many students they’ve let in, ridiculous actually.

You seem like two nice young persons.... Who have it all wrong though!!!! Why do Muslims move to western countries if the western system is so corrupt. Why do they want to move in the countries of such immoral people.... Did you see any westerners move to Arab countries? How many.?? And how many of them WOULD EVER DARE to publicly complain, like you two do??? They would t be alive to see the next morning.\nYou re telling us in terms of everyday life you ll find better where you want to go? I don’t think the student’s are a problem as much as immigration itself.\nCanada has been very negligent the way immigrants were taking in to the Country. Instead of letting these immigrants responsibly come into the Country , they were stampeding into Canada without anyone watching that these people even were eligible or not. We have no doubt many undesirable’s who would not have been allowed under normal circumstances. Even now people have no place to stay, yet more and more immigrants are coming and sit on top of each other. How is this healthy for these people and how is this healthy for Canada and Canadians. The Government is so irresponsible, that they simply have to be thrown out !!

This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

I have many muslim friends and they love it here in Canada, they know they have to adapt to to a new way of life. \nMaybe look into going to Pakistan or Malaysia, Afghanistan can be an option. \nDon't let the door hit you on your way out.

I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

You need to understand that the price of ..let’s say telecom is built in a linear topology so that there are much fewer regional centres across the country to spread the cost of infrastructure. Rent will keep increasing as there is no competitive market. as many of the people in Canada are already operating carousel tax fraud. Look that up on W5 and Canada is doing nothing to stop this, guess where all the ones at the top of that carousel are from? As long as there are ones operating illegal business earning more than the average hard worker being able to afford higher rent the rent will not be decreased but keep going up. Saying that they are bringing in mostly younger people is a lie too, they bring in everyone. That our workers are aging out and there will be nobody to do the work. Let's think about this clearly, as the population grows we need more businesses, more schools, more produce etc... Fact we need the same amount of business for a community based on the size of the community I would think. In the 1800's a small school house was sufficient, a local convenience store was enough with a mail order catalogue etc.. As population grows you need more. We also now have self check outs etc.. We are cutting down Canadas number one resource trees to make way for more and more roads etc.. Having to spend more to change and widen roads, feed these refugees, support them till they get situated, house them for how long, educate, train them, and then hope they can actually adapt and not hate us etc.. Look around the world and not just in our own back yards i.e. what happened in NY today, look at Britain afraid to put up Merry Christmas not to offend or any Christian monuments. 1) Toronto is poor value. Getting housing of any kind (buying or renting) is stupidly expensive. And the quality you get for the price is lousy. Especially the newer builds, which are just thrown up as quickly as possible and sold to investors. Policy measures generally all seem to serve to just inflate the price of housing further. The occasional lip service given to affordability is amusing, but ultimately sad. There are lots of people who really do not want the housing bubble to pop. They will fight against it with all they have.\n\n2) It has become kind of boring. There is lots to do if you have money, but it’s harder to find entertainment on a budget. Even the free stuff like parks are filling up. Stuff like sporting events, eating out, going out is very costly across the board. Even the “cheaper” stuff is expensive. It seems like a lot of local culture is disappearing. Even the cool neighbourhoods are filling up with the same chains. I think the high commercial rent and bureaucracy is deflating a lot of would-be entrepreneurs. Most landowners seem to just be banking on cashing out their land for condos.\n\n3) Canada overall has a high cost of living compared to salaries. In the US you can find lower cost of living areas that still give you a real city experience. And in Europe you can be poor but still live a decent, if no frills, life. In Canada the basic necessities are all expensive. Phone bills, grocery bills, rent, insurance are through the roof. Domestic travel is expensive. And the dollar sucks if you want to travel abroad. Health care is free but good luck finding a family doctor or waiting 8 hours in the ER these days. It’s expensive to be poor, or even middle class.\n\n4) Most of the Greater Toronto Area, outside the core, is soulless suburbs with awful transit - very “American” except with worse traffic congestion. You will need a car, which is another huge cost. Row upon row of old cookie cutter suburbs with the same crappy houses. Good luck walking anywhere, and if you do you will need to walk down boring, treeless arterial roads with cars zooming past right beside you, and cross giant eight lane intersections that were never built for humans on foot. In a rainstorm or on a fall evening you have to be really careful not to be run over by aggressive drivers.\n\n5) It is hard to raise a family in an apartment here. You can do it but it’s not very easy, and also you are still kind of judged for it. Lots of young people are feeling stuck and are deferring or avoiding starting a family. Buying any type of house, even a basic townhouse, requires pledging your soul to a bank by taking a massive mortgage with eye watering debt in a volatile market. But few apartment buildings have the kind of sensible gentle density, the family unit sizes and the common amenities, like little courtyards with jungle gyms, that you might find in Europe. No one ever contemplated that anyone would ever desire to raise kids in an apartment. It’s just a cultural thing that has worked its way into how things are planned and designed.\n\n6) The transit system is ok by North American standards but awful by international standards. There are only two real subway lines, one stub line, one line that is permanently out of service after a derailment, and another line that was supposed to open a couple years ago but still has no date for opening. The subways go out of service frequently, sometimes for the dumbest reasons, and then it is a zoo of shuttle buses. The streetcars are nice but so slow. The buses are fine if you find yourself dreaming about riding a daily herky jerky rolling tin of sardines. They are building a lot of transit but it will take decades to get done.\n\n7) There is still a lot of cool multiculturalism and opportunities to experience different foods and cultures - one of the best things about Toronto. Increasingly though it seems to be losing the fun vibe of the 90s, when everyone celebrated each other’s backgrounds and was chill. It seems the immigration is not as broad based anymore and also people are importing a lot of their “old country” grievances here. The immigration system also kind of preys on people abroad by selling them a false fairy tale, so they end up dejected when they arrive and see how things really are.\n\n8) This one might be controversial but it’s kind of an ugly city. There’s nothing particularly of historical meaning or value. Some of the older neighbourhoods are kind of nice, but the last 25 years they have only built giant glass skyboxes, one after another. There aren’t the cool “missing middle” walkups like in NY, Chicago or Montreal (or even LA). There are very few buildings with much architectural character. Some of the buildings they deem “heritage” here are an embarrassment.\n\n9) For safety, honestly on this score I think Toronto is not bad. There are not too many real “ghettos” and it’s night and day compared to much of the US. With that said, there is more vagrancy and social issues these days, with tents and such. It’s very sad but the shelters are full, lots of homeless go into the libraries, parks and transit system. It does make it harder to enjoy these public amenities safely. It is nowhere close to Europe where you might let your kids run free around town. Canadian parents still helicopter their kids and the place again is not designed to really be safe for kids, in the same way as Europe.\n\n10) Finally, a bit of a double edged sword. Toronto had a lot of youthful energy - people coming here from all over. It is definitely not as sleepy as many parts of the world. With that said, it is becoming a bit of a transient place (minus the world class experiences like London or NY). If you are from elsewhere you might find it hard making and keeping friends. I’ve seen lots of people struggle because it’s is hard to build a strong social network. We have a very “shallow” culture here - people are extremely polite but not overly warm and hospitable. We treat one another kind of like neighbours - meaning we’d like to have a cordial, drama-free coexistence and otherwise kind of stick to ourselves.

Immigrants with fake credentials will be the next wave. Good, let them leave. Clearly, we had way too many newcomers taking our jobs over the last decade. That is why our wages went down in a lot of sectors or stayed stagnant while COL went through the roof. Amongst other reasons, ifcourse such systemic government corruption serving the 0.1%

No wonder everything is getting so expensive and housing and rent is going through the roof. almost 1/2 million new residents a year? Where is all the infrastructure and housing for that coming from? The gov needs to put the brakes on immigration and lets things stabilize for a while jesus. Almost every Liberal policy is like a perfect storm for making this country unaffordable for the average Canadian. \nIf you're going to let people in let it be only in job markets we need like high skilled workers, and especially doctors and nurses. And dear god help those doctors and nurses get appropriately accredited before giving them citizenship. Our system needs people who can work in the system not people who got their degree or diploma in some flyby night school. I see way to many people at my workplace trying to get jobs with fake diplomas or degrees. Those people need to be deported ASAP! They lied to get here and they are lying to employers. Sorry no sympathy there.

First lets mention what I like about the United States. Americans are easy to make friends with. They have no problem making friends with complete strangers. Americans can be very inviting to compared to many places I have traveled to. The only place that compares in Canada is Newfoundland. In Canada you generally need an invite to a group to make friends.\n\nI liked how varied each state is. Changing states can sometimes feel crossing into a new world of sorts. This change can be both good and bad (i.e. Georgia very educated, Tennessee quite backwater). \n\nWhat I don't like is how Americans are overly patriotic, they can be borderline nationalistic and it is creepy (i.e. school children pledging allegiance before they even know what that means). In Canada if I don't want to stand during the playing of the national anthem no problem I don't have to. If you do that in the United States someone will address you and not in a favorable way. I also find their patriotism blinds many Americans to the truth about their country (i.e. many American truly have no idea how they compare to the rest of the world in many areas).\n\nLastly their infrastructure is terrible. Particular about timings , no one comes home without calling , every one is of same standard, kids don’t have to study like donkeys day & night … ( for what ) … out here to have a RV, a boat , suv , saloon car , a bike for summer ride are within every ones reach … at-least that was all my dream … I live in a city yet I have a private 1/2 acre private plot whereas in Mumbai I will have to be a film star ?? here there is no hanji hunji .. I hated the most …out here anywhere we go we take our token number & we are looked after accordingly lastly out here in the west the most amazing thing & the most important thing in life is .. let’s say your business is lost or your job is gone your neighbour’s don’t care you can start from scratch again .. Life has become very expensive worldwide. Whether in Kenya or in Canada, the cost of living hits you hard. I have lived in the US for the last more than twenty years. When I first came here $50 would be enough to buy food for a whole month. Today $50 cannot buy you food for even a week. A gallon of petrol today is over $5. The same thing is happening in Kenya, I believe. There are a number of problems when you land in Canada as a visitor. One: To covert a visitor's visor to a work permit is a process. Two; where do you want to land in Canada? If you land in Toronto, Ontario, you get stranded because everybody is landing there. People dont want to go to the north. All those pictures you are seeing are in Toronto. Because of the influx of people arriving there, the government has spent the budget for visitors and refugees. Three; the choice of jobs. When somebody promises you a job in Canada and helps to get a visitor's visa, think twice before you leave home. If somebody promises you a job in Canada, let him help you to get a work permit before you leave home. That way you are surered of a job. There are so many things to consider before you leave home.

Every Canadian I know that travels to other countries goes out of their way to let people know they are not Americans, many Americans put Canadian flags on their backpacks, bags and suitcases not realizing nobody falls for that anymore. I have witnessed so many rude entitled Americans, have been treated rudely many times until the person finds out we are Canadian.\nWatched a man and woman yell at a guy selling souvenirs in Paris because he would not take US cash. \nSlunk out the door because we were afraid they would think we were American.

I've always wanted to live in the US, so many happy vacations there as a child and teen. Sadly now due to the health care situation, there's no way I could. If someone makes a lot of money and can afford private insurance and the drugs they need, lucky for them. Especially as a diabetic, the price of insulin is around 5 x in the US what it is here. I don't earn enough to afford the drugs I need if I lived in the US, add in every three month blood work, dr visits, for a self employed person, it's just not doable on what I earn. \n\nAn American I talk to said one of his co workers was being laid off and the co worker was a diabetic and he didn't know what he was going to do without the health insurance the company provided him. It's insane health insurance is tied to employment in the US. people that are self employed would have huge private insurance bills, and people that get laid off or are fired, they could be taking thousands of dollars of drugs a month and all of a sudden it's gone with the job. My mom wouldn't even let us go to the US for a weekend without getting out of the country medical insurance coverage.
