Trudeau isn't dumb in stating this bluntly to 'Donald'. Trump needs to get the message (esp. by mass protest from his hopefully former American voters/supporters) just how dumb these US tariffs really are - how they'll cause inflation and stock market collapse the world over. And Trump's aligning himself with the US's manipulative, deceitful enemy Russia is because Trump has been laundering Russian Oligarch's money for decades (from forced prostitution and enslavement, drugs, and small arms sales to terrorists) to finance his real estate empire, ever since his 6 bankruptcies made him a bad risk for US lenders.

This just shows how disconnected canada really is with the american people. We as Americans are suffering, canada gets free medical services, we have to pay for that service as well as many other services , talk about what the american people need first ..

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. Every leader is playing into trumps hands!! People everywhere do not understand narcissistic personality disorder. By every leader, media reports talking about him phoning him pleading with him is all fuel!!!!This also tells his narcissism everyone is under control!! This makes him feel powerful! Society really needs to learn about narcissists. This situation calls for leaders to ignore him do not call him media needs to drop stories!! But society has been so heavily influenced by narcissism it just can’t let go of the profits this whole shit show is going to create. Oh and by the way all these politicians are narcissists as well and now this has threatened their control. And guess who gets to go along for the ride and the chaos they create.

1/2: Myself and the saner half of the US that read, understood, and voted against Proj 2025 understands why they need to levy retaliatory tariffs especially as a Michigander who's lived less than 4 hours from Canada all her life, who has family in Quebec and Ontario, and is a job-seeking policy professional and international trade nerd who now cannot in good faith seek a job in the federal government. We have been looking and still do look to Canada as a model quite a bit and love Canada and Canadians to pieces. We Michiganders especially in the central and eastern UP and Detroit and Ann Arbor area are friends, coworkers, and family of Canadians. Some are even dual citizens. It is sad that it's come to this. \n\n2/2: I still personally just can't wrap my head around how a trade deal Trump put together himself and called the best (the USMCA in question) is all of a sudden so bad. Logic doesn't work with these types of people... I really want **someone!!** to ask him/ admin officials about the USMCA **to their face** and see what they say because I am so upset by this nonsensical and corrupt administration.

I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. He does not care about the American people. Trump only cares about himself and his relationship with Mother Russia and Putin. TRUMP doesn't want peace. He is thriving on the chaos that he and Musk are initiating. Trump needs to be impeached immediately but our Congresmaen and women, who are supposed to represent their populations are too scared to do anything other than what Trump tells them to do. Our Government is supported to have a Check and Balance function, but none of the branches have the guts to stand up to TRump. I really believe that Trump's American first policy is to end up as America ALONE.

I'm European and I really can't understand how you can make an economic trade war with an ally like Canada, a close and so friendly neighbor.... A dumb decision not only for the W Post... And all of this will end up heavily impacting Americans as well, also because besides Canada there is Mexico, China and the whole of Europe. In such a war there are no winners.... I really hope that the American people understand this and start fighting for this nonsense to end. \nAnd when I then hear President Trudeau called governor.... Well I get even more angry.
