I wonder why some people cry about being a minority and wondering why there are so many immigrants. 1. Immigrants are here to pay for your old age benefits. 2. The whites are a minority because of a non-existent family value. 90% come from divorced parents or parents who never married. They also are barely interested in taking the responsibility of having children. A generation that turned away from God and wonder why they are getting extinct! It is also pathetic to see a lot of new immigrants not wanting to keep the city clean and carry on some of the good practices of the people who lived here before.

Why can't they take responsibility for allowing students to enter Canada ? Why didn't they do proper checks while issuing visa? Students entered only with visa approval. Why visa officers not doing their duty ?

I didn't complete high school nor attend a university, but I do know one thing: Pretending to be something one is not inevitably catches up with them. You have accepted the responsibilities associated with this role and assert to possess over 20 years of experience that extends into this particular field. Cease squandering both time and financial resources (taxpayers). Either take control of your responsibilities or resign, thereby permitting yourself to spend additional time frolicking in the dance studio, akin to a child.

Why blame India for this issue? An entire ecosystem lures students with false promises of a better life in Canada, charging them exorbitant fees, often around $60,000. Upon arrival, these students find themselves stranded, unable to afford returning home, and forced into low-wage labor. This system begins with the overstaffed Canadian embassy in India, which issues visas, enabling those who profit from this cheap labor in canada. India itself is not responsible. In fact, when Indian authorities raised concerns about criminals exploiting this system to flee to Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau deflected by accusing India in the Nijjar case. White Canadians also share responsibility, as they have not taken the time to understand this issue. Indians who migrated to Canada before 2021 are likely to suffer due to this situation.

This is wrong. Fire those immigration officials responsible and bring them in court. Deport those students as it harms our social services.

It's hilarious that even now Canadians will not say a word against these majority white politicians and bureaucrats. Even at this table, there are 2 whites, 1 East Asian and 1 South Asian. It’s deeply concerning that representatives like Pemi Gill and Aisha Zafar appear unaware of the serious consequences stemming from the influx of individuals entering Canada under the guise of international students. How come they are so ignorant of these serious things going on in their govt? It’s time for accountability—not just from executives who profit from these schemes, but also from the politicians who enable them through inaction or ignorance. These individuals, who came here from India under the guise of being students, later sought asylum and are now receiving government support funded by Canadian taxpayers—while many Canadian youths struggle to find employment. I deeply commend Madam Michelle Rempel Garner for courageously raising this issue, which has long been ignored by corporate executives and their political allies who bear significant responsibility for the country's current challenges.

On many hindu festivals or birthdays, my family donates or leaves food at the superstore Food Bank. we don't check who is taking it. Always paid taxes, that's my responsibility not doing any favor. I see this is more of a Canadian government immigrations policies are responsible for the situation Brampton is in. I lived there for 10 yrs but moved on for past 5 yrs now. For nearly 20 years, Conservatives have been warning Canadians about the challenges we are now facing but every time, they were dismissed and branded as “racist” for simply pointing out the obvious. Meanwhile, grassroots Canadians along with immigrants who came here in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s had one goal in mind to work hard, build a better life, and help "make Canada a stronger and more prosperous country". Their efforts over the last 60 years are clear in the Canada we inherited. Instead of focusing on integration, responsibility, and opportunity, they are enabling divisions and importing problems rather than solutions. I’m a recent Indian immigrant and I’ve lived in Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, and now Canada. I’ll admit that a lot of what’s said here is true: there are far too many cases where Indians abroad show a lack of civic sense, break rules, or behave in ways that don’t respect the host country.  Personally, my family and I have always assimilated wherever we’ve lived, respecting local customs, following rules, and contributing positively to the community and I hate it when immigrants don't assimilate into the local culture and reside in their own enclaves, I mean what was the point of emigrating then?? I truly value the peace and order these countries offer, and I want to give that back. Every community has good and bad examples. The responsibility is on us as immigrants to lead by example, integrate genuinely, and show that we can be respectful, responsible citizens. That’s how perceptions change for the better. It sucks that a whole racial group can be disliked because of some bad apples — and in our case, unfortunately, there are quite a few.

White-societies have a tendency to externalize blame for their decline onto others immigrants/racial minorities etc, without looking into their own systems. The collapse of family farming in Brampton or other part of Canada for instance, was not caused by immigrants but by corporate consolidation.....which since its being made into a race argument ...is driven largely by white elites. Declining white fertility is likewise a cultural product of hyper-individualism, consumerism, and high divorce rates, lack of kinship-based safety nets, where individual entitlement takes precedence over collective responsibility....and not simply demographic replacement by the brown immigrants. White societies have historically exported systems of domination and resource extraction, destabilizing the very regions whose immigrants they look down upon. What you are witnessing is not the result of immigration, but the unraveling of a culture built on exploitation, entitlement, and disposability.....one that is now collapsing under its own design. None of us are perfect, but folks keep framing this economic crisis in terms of immigration problem, rather than wealthy elite minority vs dispossessed majority, you are never getting this fixed.

It's the governments' fault for allowing so much immigration. People from 3rd world countries will always want a better life for their children which is why they work so hard to become doctors and engineers and then migrate. But it is the governments' responsibility to take care of their own country's demographics and policies. Yet racists string up the hardworking immigrants with the low quality hooligans. Every judge who releases repeat offenders must be held publicly and legally accountable for the crimes committed under their rulings. I am a new permanent resident in Canada. This video is very true regarding our integration. You are absolutely right. Newcomers must integrate, as it is the beginning of a new life in a new environment. What I do not fully agree with is when you complain about the social benefits given by the government to newcomers. It is not free money; we will pay it back later in taxes. We cannot build life projects depending on these benefits. Ask each newcomer if they are satisfied with these benefits rather than a good job. We want to contribute to the economy of this beautiful country. For example, I came to Canada with specific goals, including starting an IT company, which was difficult to achieve at home due to lack of opportunities. So, don't blame immigrants too much; in my opinion, responsibilities should be shared among all of us, including the government.

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. I agree. Canadians are not getting jobs. All Canadians of every color. The govt is responsible for this epidemic. Cdn born students cannot get a job at any fast food joints. They are occupied by fake students . Chalo, fresco, no frills, real cdn superstore , Costco, Amazon etc are only hiring Sikh punjabis. This is called discrimination against the Cdn citizens of ever colour. Our standard of living is down. Send these so-called student back. Not forgetting the refugees who are collecting free housing, free money for clothing shelter. I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

It’s really disappointing to see some immigrants not making any effort to adapt to this beautiful country, but instead trying to recreate everything exactly as it was back home. I’m an immigrant healthcare professional myself, and I visit many nursing and retirement homes. It feels extremely disrespectful when immigrant workers speak only in their own languages even when others around them don’t understand. Just a few days ago, I was in a park and witnessed someone spitting red tobacco all over a tree trunk. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in Canada. We came here for better opportunities and a better life, so it should be our responsibility to respect the culture and the public spaces here. I genuinely believe the government needs to be stricter about who they allow in. Canada doesn’t need people who refuse to integrate or who create a nuisance in public. Diversity is about sharing and respecting each other, not about ignoring Canadian values or lowering public standards. If someone is not willing to respect this country and its culture, then maybe Canada is not the place for them.

Why are people dancing around the issue? So it like it is - indians have invaded Canada. You give them an inch and they take the whole yard. Then they accuse you of being rascist, the easiest excuse for deflecting responsibility and accountability. They don't have to adapt to your country, you have to adapt to them. If a guest comes into my home and start acting entitled, I would kick them right out.

Brother JamCan, this whole thing was predictable decades ago! I got to Canada in 1995 right after hell unfolded in the country of a thousand hills! I saw with my own eyes & felt from personal experience how great my adopted country was! However, not everything was rosy! I saw and experienced the "not-in-your-face" anti-black racism, whether politically, socially, and most def in the employment market! At the same time, the establisment (read white folks) was busy encouraging & promoting east indians to take up leadership roles in all spheres of the society, thus making them the "model minority" in the country! This mess was bound to happen, and in the end, this is what got us here! My feeling is that white canada is totally responsible for this, and they should stop crying on TV, roll up their sleeves, and clean up the mess! Peace Out!

I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

I am a skilled immigrant, an auditor by profession for 16 years. I climbed up the ladder from a junior auditor to department head before I left for Canada late last year. I've submitted hundreds of job applications to date and I only got a response. I have no choice but to take that job in fastfood restaurant just to make a living. Don't worry, if I still don't get a job aligned to my profession in few months, I will leave. I'm tired..

As a Indian, most of the people in the comment section blame trudeau, Jagmeet, ndp and liberals for this. But i think the dumb Canadians are fully responsible for all of these. From 2015 to reelecting the same shit government that created all this chaos.
