As for Tariffs, why doesn't this low life bring to light the 270% Tariffs on Milk to the US, 298% on butter, 245% on cheese, 238% on chicken,57% on barley seed, 45% on Aluminum, 48% on copper, 45% on cars, and the list goes on, all Trump wanted was the border cleaned up of criminals and drugs and this POS is turning it into a trade war. He has no money for additional border security, but he can send billions to Zelensky, another criminal pile of garbage. These tariffs are not about policy differences. They appear to be personal. Trump is settling scores. Many Trump voters believe that Mexico, Canada, Russia, China, Ukraine, and even the EU interfered in the US presidential and congressional elections in 2020, 2022, and in 2024 to help the Democrats strip us Americans of our rights and lock Republicans out of power permanently. It doesn't matter if its actually true or not. It's the perception that matters most and that has the bigger consequence. MAGA and President Trump are responding to the appearance of foreign interference in our elections. That's why he's preparing the shut down the DACA program too because we believe the DACA recipients sought to influence the last 4 elections and MAGA wants to punish all of them for that.

I just just don't understand what these blanket tariffs achieve for Americans. Firstly, employment in the US is at an all time high, if the aim is to bring back primary and manufacturing industries then it's just a myth. It's just pointless and mindless. Nobody wants to go back to working in heavy industry, people want high paying, highly specialized industries, this doesn't create that, it just makes cost of living higher so wages have to go up and cost of bringing in raw materials goes up, all things that discourage start up companies that employ well educated and skilled Americans

Trump doesn’t even grasp the fact that tariffs are paid by the companies importing goods into the US and passed on to consumers - he seems to think that the tariffs are paid by the exporting country. Some businessman!

Also, why do we have to pay to keep the US border secure? Doesn't the US have the largest military? I'd assume they have one of the largest police forces in the world, not to mention their large government agencies. Why not put some of that defence spending into border security? Trump's goal is to start an actual war with anyone who'll have it, including our closest neighbors and allies. The reason is that wartime presidents have more power and he doesn't care who stands in his way. He's going to use that power to detain journalists and jail political opponents ahead of the midterms claiming them to be traitors, then he's going to set himself up to run for a third term. If he succeeds, he'll have total control.
