A large population of White Canadians sold their homes to Indians and moved north especially to Orangeville and many sourrounding cities as well. Brampton is what it is because people dont want to live among different people. Whites saw Indian coming in and left and Indians desired to live among their own kind. there is too much immigration so its a good thing if they leave for canadians. the housing cost a fortune now and its hard to find an apartment so its good if we can have more for us. i think many organization are lying to immigrants and keep them coming here. thats one of the problem for them. they dont say the truth about economy and the problems in canada. we can blame Liberal party and Justin Trudeau for the mess in the last years. there is a huge housing problem but he keep immigration level up without doing much to fix the housing problem.

700,000 of the 1.1 million that came to Canada are students. The international student system needs to be overhauled. The university/colleges who want international students must register with the feds. Those with permits MUST BE MADE to build, own, and provide international students with housing. When an international student is offered a placement in a Canadian education institution, they are also offered housing built by that institution. Once acceptance is made, then the details are sent to the feds and the visa is finally issued. This way, everyone who comes, has housing, it takes pressure off the domestic housing market, the students themselves know where they are going to be and how much things will cost, including the housing, and the Canadian institutions who want the stdents, have to now pay for them. This will force the education institutions to build more housing, lower the number of students they bring in, and offer much more remote learning opportunities if the program really does not require the students to come at all. Pass the bill onto the institutions, and the problem will quickly resolve. The federal government is being LAZY. If it wants people, it has to focus on a system that makes sense for people to come to Canada, insure the institutions dont take advantage of these students AND NOT shift the housing problem to the domestic market. The federal and provincial governments also need to organize themselves with each other. The provinces should tell the federal government how many they can take in based on housing stock and unemployment rate, and the feds only grant visas based on those numbers, and the visas require those coming to be in the province that has space for them. This way, you help to take pressure off the larger cities and spread growth to areas of the country that wants the growth. The approach needs to be bottom up, so needs and capacity drive the numbers allowed in.

Immigrants are not really welcome in canada. The canadian goverment invited them all to come here, but no one asked canadians how they felt about increased immigration. They dont lke it.

Does the data also apply to the northern territories or provinces which are very cold? Why dont we talk about the indigenous community whose culture and ecnomomy was destroyed by canadians and there resources snatched away, atleast the majority of immigrants come here, work and pay taxes.

I welcome, as a born Canadian, immigration. My opion is that you stay. Permanently. Dont come to Canada, work then leave. If you don't want to live here, don't come.

Here is statistic for you on one of them.....more than 75% of the people who live in Toronto, are from another country!! 75%, and Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and every other big city we have are catching up to that percentage as we speak. The homes are crazy expensive. Just start from million The healthcare is not good if something were to happen to you . Hav e to be waiting in the emergency over night I slips on ice went to the emergency went there at 6:00 for looked at 9:00 waited 4 hrs to get look d at. 3 generation Canadians have it good there parents came in the 90s houses weren’t so expensive then . Know it’s really hard with inflation so high if you don’t have a good job it will be a struggle. Indian students come to Canada thinking just working on cash will be enough ?it will not . Mass immigration is a problem to many people less houses . Canada likes to say they welcome immigrants but truthfully they dont. And high taxes, truth fully you work all your life just to sure and pay taxes …….

Property tax and car insurance make it near impossible to retire in Canada. I Australia You pay ONLY 20% of THOSE CANADIAN PRICES. AND WHEN YOU RETIRE YOUR, BILLS ARE REDUCED SUBSTANTIALLY. As an international student from India at a top university with a scholarship, I found it quite odd when I go to the Tim Hortons near McgIll or literally any food shop in Toronto and found talking to the guy/girl taking the order in Hindi. I am like bruh wtf I went from India to mini India, wasnt studying abroad supposed to be a difficult prospect. The senseless immigration that happens through diploma farms, that only increase the population of unskilled immigrants needs to stop. Like Canadian healthcare is on the verge of collapse, cuz u dont have enough doctors yet you want 200,000 more TimHortons workers from Punjab. I do not understand this policy. \n\nI also question the impeccable brain power of the Indians who leave the comfort of their family and home (which imo has massively better healthcare system) to come here and then live a life of hardship due to not having proper education or just not having enough money.

I dont understand why people keep coming to Canada i born and raised here i am always in debt i barely support my 2 kids and my wife Canadian government they take off my income almost 50% and 15 % taxes on purchases so i live with 35% of my income what the hell is that also we are living in cold weather 6 months i dont understand like here in Quebec if uou want to buy a house you pay a welcome tax whats the hell i recommend everyone if you have a stable job in your country stay in your country between your family .

Dont bother coming to Canada, its freezing for 6 months, and getting a job is virtually impossible, its very expensive to live and the taxes are more than 50%. Stay away. Exactly canada supposed to be what we are lacking in our country, i feel scamed I havent been able to work because, I developed a physical conditions in my colum vertevral that liter and. its taking my life quality and incapacitated me, No only the exams takes month or vene more than a year to have but my Specialist Doctor left Canada, and I was left hanging waiting for a new specilist, its been more than two months and nothing and more that 1 year trying to be diagnosed I am really frustrated and tired of this. And the govetrnment wants to brig more people and can even provide services for the ones that are here. I dont have a problem with the average American but life in Canada is everything you could ask for. Health care of course but here you can truly do what you want and live your dream if you work for it. Every single person here stands a chance to do amazing things if they have the drive and motivation. We take care of each other here and there are always lots of jobs. \n99% of Canadians would never move to the States unless it was ridiculous to turn down a huge opportunity. But your average person, never. We have it way better here. I have spent a fair bit of time in America. While I have enjoyed it and met some great people there is no comparison when it comes to overall quality of life in every regard.

As a French Canadian im aware of some discrimination about the funding of our community, School dont really get the money for new infrastructure. some of our building becoming more old and not really great to use i still like my place thought and i will never consider to move to the USA. i have been living in edmonton since 2016 with canadian degree in mechanical engineering (didnt find a job in engineering) and i lived in sydney australia 1 month in 2016... \nlet me give u advice just dont come to canada u will NEVER EVER find a job in petroleum engineering as canadians are so racist but they dont show it to u ... the only job u will be doing is working uber or MC...\navr house price in Vancouver or toronto is 2 million however in edmonton is half million but just because no one wanna live here ...

Canada is like 3 countries in one, so it really depends where you are, especially if you wish to talk about culture. Im guessing you are in western Canada because that part is one of the youngest parts of Canada, it doesnt have much culture. Tho if you are in central Canada (Ontario) you'll most get a blend of american and english culture. The place where hawaiian and canadian pizza invented. Ontario is obsessed with pizza. \nTho the Eastern part is where Canadian culture is at its strongest AKA French Canada. Thats where most Canadian traditions like the Rigodon music and traditional food comes from such as: Pâté Chinois, Tourtière, Poutine, Donair, Poudigne Chômeur, Tarte au Sucre, Tarte au Fraise et Rhubarb and so on. French Canada even has its own version of french, its so different from the rest of the world that when a when they meet they wont understand half the words each sides say. French Canadian is based on the old french of the French nobility tho it completely disapeared in France during the revolutionary era because everyone that spoke it got executed. So french Canadian is basically a unique language now, i can totally see it getting rename as Canadian the language of Canada in the future especially of the west does indeed seperate. So here is the thing about what you have said about retraining and going back to school over here in Canada..\nMy wife has spent ten years going to universities in BC becoming a counselor but now we have moved to BN they want her to spend another 4 years proving to someone in NB that she can do the job she has been doing for 15 years , oh and she is a Canadian!\nI have 20 years experience as a plumber even before I moved to Canada, I prove this to the canadain goverment I can do my job get my visa. Then you have to do this all over again because the unions are really in charge over here, they dont want people like me moving here from the UK taking their jobs as they put it...\nWhy say to someone that, hey you can come over as you are exactly what we need! then tell them they have to go back to Collage and sit more exams and do schooling all over again.. This is so true not just for those immigrant applications. I had a vistors visa application and i was denied. My provincial and express entry (working visa) application has been in idle for almost 8 years. And i have multiple IELTS exam with OBS of 8.0 (min of 7.0) due to the fact that its expired. On top of that i have already exhausted Php500,000 around CND 12,500 of monetary resources for this application alone. And my sister paid Moyal a canadian agency CND 6,000 for the processing of my papers. And its already 8 years but its been idle that long. And i have seen Chinese people (from vlogs)coming into Canada getting their visa stamped with no read or write in english. And they land a job in Canada. I genuinely dont know how Canadian govt assess immigrants. Ive even seen a local dog (vlog) from our country come to Canada with no muss or fuss at all wih its application to stay in canada. Maybe i should just be a dog instead. Hmmmm....?

As a Canadian, I have to say that I'm very proud that we are able to take so many immigrants. Our first Prime Minister was an immigrant. Our country was built on immigration. Ask yourself who built this country? Immigrants did. But with every wave of immigration comes prejudice. Irish, Ukrainians, Polish have all seen there share of prejudice. Now its brown people from Syria that escaped with the cloths off their back. there is racism and prejudice everywhere. on every level no matter gender, race, religion, culture. etc. no matter where you go. but if these guys take a trip to any of those corrupted third world backwards countries they would see how good they really have it. us foolish americans canadians dont know how good we have it. we are living in the freest country nation and society ever seen in the history of the world. at least our country creates new laws every year to make our people feel safe. but other islamic countries continue following laws made in the 15th century. do you see and appreciate the difference.\n\nsure people will label you based off your skin tone and your demeanor. BUT WHY? because they have had bad history with those that look just like you. i have had REALLY REALLY bad experiences with asians in everything. so i naturally stay away from all asians and i do not trust them. HOWEVER, i feel when foreigners come to this country they ruin it for the rest of the citizens that are of similar foriegn race eventhough they were born there. WE NEED TO PUT OUR NATIONS CULTURES first. and thats what we have to teach everyone. we put our canada america pride priority and whatever culture we came from LAST. THATS WHY its best we learn to fix our people in a whole in our country before bringing in anymore foreigners who do not respect our nation. lets stop third world immigration and work on making our country great again. so we can stop all this crime in our neighborhoods. because it hinders our progress. once every race color ethnicity of people are acting right then we will have no prejudice based off color or even gender because everyone is giving everyone respect. but because CRIME IS HIGH in all foreign races, and we continue to disrespect eachother. nobody feels safe anymore. whether your light skinned white or black.
