My humble request to all those Indians who are unhappy in Canada, may please leave Canada immediately and return back to India. The fact is this that when you are kicked and rejected in India then you think of shifting to another country. Canada is one of the best country in the world for those who are not scared of working hard. One who works hard progresses fast. This respected lady is used to servants and domestic helps, that one cannot get here. I am here for just 7 years and I am a senior citizen but me & my wife got very good jobs and enjoying life. No one asks about your religion, what you eat what you drink. So all those who like lazy life please stay back in India. Yes if you want to get a good job you have to upgrade your education. Girls alone are safe even at 2am in buses.

Every big city has changed,but your video is so negative on Toronto. Why don’t you go and live in every other big city in North America and then give your opinion. Toronto is by far, no American city is even close ,to how safe Toronto is. The 5th biggest city in North America,almost 7,000,000,seven million people and almost no crime. It is the second safest city in the world,after Copenhagen in Denmark. \n Toronto is diverse,great job opportunities,great public transit,high standard of living,airport,food,arts,waterfront clean and beautiful,everything is world class and “FREE Healthcare”\n Yes,Toronto is expensive,but has innovative,high tech world class companies that attract intelligent hard working people. Everyone works. \n So if a person is unemployable,won’t work and can’t afford to live in Toronto,then don’t move there.

I live in Montreal Canada and as a refugee from Rwanda I have no other options but to stay. \nFor those who are from peaceful countries in Africa and well educated who make at least equivalent of $2000 in Africa, please do not come here.\nFor example: it's not easy to buy a house if you're single, you need to be married to be able to afford a house. Let alone buying a house, renting isn't also easy, the cheapest now for families is $1000.\nLet's say you make $20 per hour, this salary will never get you anywhere unless you're married or have other sources of income. You need a second job and the more you earn the more you're taxed.\nEven those high skilled people can only live comfortably only as working couple because as a single high skilled person even if you make more than $100k a year for you to live a good life here isn't easy. Yes of course, it's still better than the most african countries, but for those doing well in Africa already don't come here, come when you're hardly earning a living in Africa. \nNB: People who make $100k in Canada are less than 11% of the whole population. That's 4257000 million out of 38.7 canadians. The rest are considered low income generating workers who hardly afford things.

You must have earned enough to put your kids in extra carricuLar activities . Thats a huge expense. And you were lucky you got a good starting job im a school system which is hard to get. Basic tip : if you travel legally, with the right channels into Canada you will not have to struggle. The government will even ensure you are getting support while at it. Once you 'cheat' your way in please expect repurcussions. The canadian government is as transparent as you'd like it to be. I came here with no agent, followed the guidelines from the government immigration website, got a visitors visa for 6months, immediately applied for temporary workers visa got it within 45days, upgraded to permanent residency and got it within 60days. My point is usidanganye kwa makaratasi. Where its not clear what they are asking, they will walk you through it. Am now a citizen bila hustles. Once you breach the guidelines of Canada immigrations don't expect mteremko. The laws here are the most friendliest and yes Canada is made of immigrants. If you can come please do it the right way. Wacheni kulipa agents your savings jameni. Agents live off your hard earned money and they provide no guarantees. You are protected when you do the right thing huku. Currently Alberta is loking for pharmacists, nurses, doctors and caregivers for kindergarten age. Its all on the website for Alberta government. Its straight forward. Bottom line do not expect magic to happen. Once you make into Canada you must get a mind shift, Be willing to start over and have laser line focus. Hukuu hakuna party after party ni kazi after kazi. Yes actually I do have a comment or two. I think that Toronto has become the victim of either its own success as a multicultural, diverse and growing metropolis or the perceived idea that Toronto is the place to be. And what that brings with it? Yes, people who are interested in living the life and those who can afford it pay it. You said it very well, the city has become unaffordable to most people but the wealthy or at least those who are getting paid the best salaries and those who bank on real estate take advantage of this, be it the hype or reality since also, most job opportunities are still there. So to me the problem is with the lack of contro of the real estate market. And people who cant pay but for whatever reason live there just have to pay the price. The refugee situation is not surprising to me at all. We are struggling with affordable housing for crying out loud but we are also advertising to the world that we are that welcoming and peaceful society that those people can be part of. But at what cost. Toronto cannot continue like this if it will still be considered as a city for the people and not the wealthy and chronically increasing poor. No wonder they chose a progressive for a mayor and not a conservative or hard line liberal because people want change but not radically. People want to live in the best city they can having all necessary services and in peace and safety. So, there are so maby layers to pill here but again, the main reason why things have gotten the way they are is because they let real estate run unleashed. All the best, Alina.

Yes, of course, although Canadian views can be true sometimes. Yet, we cannot defend our own Country as you can. That alone makes us ' nice'. This is highly biased just because they have moved to Canada doesn’t necessarily mean that Australia is any less .Both are DEVELOPED nations to be very precise .Australia has the highest wedge rates and yes as compared it’s hard to get into Australia than Canada because Australia is more into skilled workers it’s twice the size of India with only 2.5 cr of population and they manage their population and jobs at their best which is commendable and the same is with Canada as well .Every country has their own norms and have their pros and cons just because one couple has faced some issue with Australia doesn’t necessarily mean all the people have faced the same thing again it depends on the field you are working at . Covid has changed perspective and situations of every country one more Point Australia has never entered recession in 4 decades that’s a great point to consider . There is nothing wrong if these developed nations having strict barriers to consider people from outside as they want to manage things at their best be it for their own or international people living their which is the best thing any country can do for themselves and most importantly what people need to understand if they are from developing nations is that any developed country will be difficult be it CANDA ,AUSTRALIA etc nothing comes easy so to anyone getting little inclined towards any country I will highly recommend to have an intensive research on this as moving to any developed nations is not easy people have different mindset and perception you can decide what is best for you .?

I appreciate that you are open to hearing these comments- as hard as that might be. Canadians do love our US next door neighbours- most of the US is lovely, most people are good, yes good opportunities exist there. BUT, we have that here in Canada too. So the tipping points about female bodily autonomy, never really worrying about our children’s school safety, EVERYONE being able to get good healthcare (no insurance required), and the more inclusive attitude to people of different sexual orientation/cultures/race makes this country the better option, in my opinion.

I considered Europe several times (went for exchanges in England and Russia a decade ago). Moving to US… for myself, I can’t see a good reason. Especially now… \npeople who are interested in the US are people who have career ambitions or want to make more money (like in Universities, finance, technology…). There is a second category of people, that I don’t think they use Reddit ;) Retired people over a certain age, they go live in Florida half the year and some decide to stay. There are also a small number of neoconservatives who think we live under a liberal dictature (yes, I’m looking at you Alberta), might be more interested, as well as our evangelicals too, since they want to insist on imposing their religion on everyone else. \nSo, mostly : climate for elders, ambitions (career or financial) for youth, ideology for some others. Please anyone watching this do not take it as fact. Pretty much got all of it wrong. Fishing and Hunting in Nova Scotia and cold? Can live in Vancouver for $50,000/year?? Alberta is way more than Agriculture, oil and gas. Also quite a few more cities than just Calgary. Toronto is getting worse every year. People are leaving the city because it is so expensive to live there. Quebec is getting up there with cost of living along with the taxes. Vancouver Island, yes mild in the winter compared to the rest of Canada but jobs are hard to come by which is why a lot of people retire there.

My god yes, this exactly what I'm seeing as a born and raised Canadian. I just work hard, have most of my money taken and limits to me to just working 40+ hours a week so I can go home and watch some youtube. Everything you're saying doesn't just apply to immigrants. It is true about all the laws and rules in Canada that interfere in your life. We lived in the Middle East for 5 years and could not believe the difference. Less laws, less rules, less annoyance. It was great. We lived in Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait (though Kuwait had a bit more rules that made life hard mostly when it came to owning a car if you were a foreigner). Also, the weather. Yes, it is very hot in the Middle East but we loved that. I hate the cold here in Canada and there is no guarantee that summer is going to be warm and sunny, so it is hit or miss. Most people who say Canada is the greatest country in the world, have never lived in any other part of the world and therefore, really cannot be sure of their statement.

Canadavis great if you where poor in your country, if you where middle class you are better in you country. Here you can be middle class upper or lower but true , very very hard to accumulate money ?. And healthcare, yes you can wait 12-24hours before seeing a MD, for a basic thing. First off Canada is not a systemically racist country I’m white I’m also poor and I’ve lived here all my life nearly everyone excluding the native population in a immigrant or a descendant of a immigrant my mom is Portuguese and I also have black family members we are no more racist than anyone else in any other country. I moved to Canada 3 years ago and I can tell you life here is much better financially than London, England where I moved from. Building wealth isn’t hard in Canada unless you live in a city like Toronto. I sold my 1 bed Condo in Toronto for $700k and bought a massive 4 bed, 3 bathroom detached house for 500k in Edmonton. Yes it’s colder here but the wages are much higher and the tax is much much lower. Cost of living in general is much cheaper… Gas as of today is 1.11 per litre at my local Costco!\n\nMy advice to anyone living in Toronto is, move out as soon as you can and also avoid Vancouver because it’s no different!

To confirm as an American. Yes, it seems like everyone wants to put hot sauce and cheese on everything and it's annoying. The tap water here is bad unless you get it from the fridge or have a filter. Here in Arkansas, I think our spring water is great.\n\nRegarding the city and getting around to restaurants and other areas, pretty much. A good portion of our factories are on acres of land. However, some are still close enough that you can walk to. I'm certain this is hardly different from Canada but we are 97% rural. People think of America as big cities but usually its the local town and a pumpkin patch. When Aba said America is like 40 different countries, he ain't wrong. \n\nFirearms is ingrained in our culture. That's a given. I see a lot of people mention safety and this is what I can say; I felt my safety was compromised by a tornado warning. Trouble can happen but if you don't deal drugs or do some under the table stuff, usually you won't be a victim of a crime. \nI'm planning on owning some land myself so I can shoot on it, farm, and raise a family. Just be independent.

Thank you ladies for those comments, to someone who is readying this today, I am an immigrant and I have lived in three continents, EU, MIddle East, USA and Canada, \n\nCanada is the best, just be smart with your financial decisions, and dont live in Van or GTA, Edmonton and Calgary for the win, yes weather sucks for 5 months but it does everywhere. \n\nUAE is great for making money, but its all fake and holo, USA is actually pretty unsafe and I felt it before I decided to move. and EU has basically the same tax situation. Portugal is really nice, but most immigrants are either french/english speaking so portugal is never an option, the adoption is too much. \n\nAlso a lot of it depends on your profession, I am an IT specialist and jobs are a plenty at pretty good rates, and if you are smart, there are several ways of shielding yourself from tax, \n\ndont want to brag but us brown (south asians) always break this code, tax no tax a brown guy will have all of his ducks be done with college, with a house mini van and picket fense, all with no debt and hard work, i cant understand how others cant do it (african brothers not included, coz they follow the same template as we do)\n\n cheers my hustlers

I wish more people thought like you and moved out! This is a developed country if you invest properly and work hard it's the best place to live in the world! If you are a lazy welfare QUEEN than yes, you will find it very difficult. Yes the racism is very high here. \nMany people come here for a better life but that is very hard to find now days in Canada. Governments here, on every level have let Canadians down . They stopped investing in affordable housing. They haven’t provide enough placement for education of medical staff over decades and now we don’t have enough nurses and doctors. \nWe need better educated voters but of course they don’t put enough money into education. It’s seems people prefer voting for bullies rather than people who actually care about the people and the land that feeds us. Jagmeet Singh is s good leader but would Canadians vote in a person of colour with an agenda to actual help the people and the environment, probably not. It really is sad because Canada did provide a lot more for people in the past. But it’s always been a racist country unfortunately, just look at its history. \nI love this country and I see the politicians saying oh free healthcare doesn’t work while behind the scenes they are the ones not providing the training of medical professionals. They line the pockets of corporations Like the fossil fuel industry. Those are our resources. Taxes paid is our money. We need to be smarter voters and louder voices to demand our governments do their job. Protecting and caring for the land and the people and animals that live here. Being someone that has travelled the world there is no country better then another but.... The cost of living and stuff in Canada yes it's high but we are in a recession ? the housing market has changed jn the past 10 years... It's hard for anyone not just immigrants.. The thing about having experience in a country and not being able to transfer it, there's a reason for that there are plenty of country's that have alot. Of corruption most places u can get fake degrees by paying enough money ;) Indonesia is a big one and we have alot of immigrants coming from there... Imo ca t really blame. Canada for. Any of this, it also depends were you move in Canada,. My hometown is extremely friendly with Imigrants...

I didn't listen to his reply. I can answer the question myself. Yes. I am a senior, and I have a son and a daughter in their early 40s. Both families are well employed and hard working, and both are homeowners. They managed to accomplish this with financing from the Bank of Dad. Without my help, they would still be renters. So the answer is yes, give up that hope unless you have a generous family with deep, deep pockets.

I was born in Manitoba and lived here for 28 years. While the negative aspects pointed out in the video are true, hardly any of the positives of living here were touched on. Yes, we do have a month or two where you can hardly spend time outside but during the winter there are beautiful sunny days often and plenty of +25-+30 days all summer long. Manitoba has an incredible amount of festivals during the summer all across Winnipeg and small towns. We have a thriving underground EDM scene where young people explore various forms of art, dance, costrumes, and musical genres every weekend nowadays. There are many interesting cultures present here including Mennonite and Hutterite communities which are some of the most generous small town folk. We have tons of local farms which people can buy affordable organic food from. Manitobans on average are friendly people and strangers will often strike up a conversation or help get your car unstuck on a wintery day. I have travelled around Canada but I do feel like Manitoba carries a unique sense of community that other places might not have.

Canada is a Racist country! Yes. I have been to canada Twice. and both times I have faced Racism One was at York University Toronto. That too foreign students office. . Canada is not worth it! US is Amazing Please don't think US is hard. Its not. America the first time, I got Multiple Entry Tourist Visa for 5 years, Canada It was a torture to get two entry visa, LOL :) I am from India and I got my Visa's from Turkey. LOL Canada is a sheet country! Canadians would rather live in the US than in Canada... Canada is COLD COLd COLD!
