10 years ago I had been called by my company to work in Germany. First discrimination I had was when a government worker told me in english that she does not speak english and if I want anything I should get a translator or learn german! Since then I have been many times facing similar discrimination even after I learned the language. The sacrifice I make is for my children as I want them to have opportunities for higher education and a larger spectrum of careers. One thing I must ask germans: ist es so schwer anderen zu helfen, ohne sie herabzusetzen?

There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

I can honestly tell you that I have spent the majority of my 47 years of life helping people, doing favors for people, helping the homeless, feeding and rescuing stray dogs, lending money I didn’t have, an in essence helping my fellow neighbor. It is in my nature to think of others before myself, but guess what? Guess where that got me? No favors returned, the money is never paid back, when I needed a favor, no one was available, and when I rescued the dog, no one can help me find a home. so I think the lesson here is help yourself as in the flight attendants say before you can help your fellow neighbor if you don’t believe me question yourself how many people have you helped in your life returned the favor? SLIM TO NONE. if you don’t believe me, go ahead and ask people around you to help you pay your rent next month and see the turnout you get. This is your responsibility. Nobody is going to come save you

As first generation American all this endless whining is getting old. When my family came here, they all had to have a health certificate and a sponsor that guaranteed they would have employment and housing waiting for them when they got here. If not, they weren’t going to be allowed on the boat to start with. No free housing, health care, food or education. \n \n\n So what part of ILLEGAL ALIEN isn’t being understood. We have tens of thousands of foreign nationals who have entered the country illegally. When these foreign nationals stepped across the border and violation of our immigration and border laws, they committed a crime. Their first violation was a misdemeanor. Their second violation was a felony. These individuals need to be held accountable for their lawless act. \n We heard Bernie and Kamala, and some other Democrats state that these foreign nationals need to be allowed a pathway to citizenship. I ask why? Perhaps if they leave the country and then they make application to re-enter the country they could be given consideration, but we should not reward people who violate our laws

just deceived by a new Indian immigrant, and it feels terrible. About 10 days ago, I posted an advertisement for a parking spot rental in front of my apartment condo. I then received a call from someone who said he had just moved here from India and needed a parking spot. I explained that parking spots here are rented on a monthly basis. He said that was fine, but he wanted to first pay only for the days from October 24 to October 31, and then he would pay for the following month. I thought that was acceptable, so I agreed.However, on October 31, he didn’t make the payment as expected. When I asked, he said he would pay on November 1. The next day, when I hadn’t received the payment, I followed up, and he promised to pay the following morning. By noon on November 2, I still hadn’t received the payment, so I messaged him again, but he didn’t respond. It was only later in the evening when he finally replied, saying he no longer needed the parking spot and that I could rent it to someone else. Then i asked how to deal with the rest of the payment of these days for the parking he already used, no reply anymore. At that moment, I really felt deceived. Why so much like getting smart with others?

I am a mechatronics technician who has finished an apprenticeship this year. Ausländeramt gave me the shittiest visa ever for two years. Like its really hard to change a company in first two years. Bascially you have to ask for permission Ausländeramt which lets Agentur für Arbeit controll the request. Then they wait for the answer and maybe a lot of time later they will write me back. So a potential positon may be away at that time. I like I wrote a request in June 2024 and still havent got the answer. Great, isnt it?

These 2 Indian clerks were there and that 1 guy told me he can’t check my ring size because If I take the other guys time who does the checking then I will be paying for his time because he is also doing other stuffs on the computer.. He says I will be taking away his time from the computer if he checks my ring size…The nerve.. I never want to deal with them again even customer service on the phone when I know its Indian I just hung up the phone and dial again and wish its not them because I know I will never get a satisfactorily and respectful conversation with them.

Rest in peace all those who fought in ww1-ww2 and indo Pak war a terrible time for both sides I recently asked my father about our grandparents history he said that they were originally based in and around “Srinagar” in India and he told me that when the partition happened my great great grandfather along with 1 one spiritual imam and exactly 99 others including my grandfather a total of 100 people made migration to “Mirpur Azad Kashmir” the village name is “Chitterpari” as soon as you enter into Mirpur from Jhelum / Dina side it is located there, here my father told me that our ancestors with the imam and other 98 people were the first to settle in Chitterpari of course it was not Chitterpari at that time it was the old city of Mirpur but when the water came and washed everything away they moved abit away from the rising water. I’m sure we all have family in those parts of pakistan who are now residing in England ????‍??

Well let's start my story. I am an immigrant.i speak fluent English in Deutschland. I have 5 different fields of skills like air craft equipment operator, heavy truck and big buses Driver, excavator and grader operator, plumbing and electrical services,also i have FMCG salesman experience. I am learning now the language. Wherever i go to find any job first they ask me ,do you have b1 language experience ? ? This is kind of bit complicated. But i am still struggling to get my choice job. This is my story.i am skilled worker but where is my value? I don't know

They can barely speak english.. How they got here in the first place is the question we should be asking.

The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.

After I moved to Germany I realized that people in general do not have freedom. Yes you have the freedom to shape your life, Germany is not an autocratic country, however the hardness of life forces you to follow certain paths. Even the smallest changes you make brings a lot of bureucratical burden and risk. That is why you live a llmited life. \n\nAs expats we changed jobs several times to find better opportunities but Germans do not change much. I asked the reason and they answered establishing a life is very hard here, so after you manage it you try to maintain it. These guys were not happy with their jobs but cannot change it because it cost a lot. First, they are living in a formerly rented flat so if they change their jobs they know that they would pay more when they move. Second, after some age they know it is not easy to find a job so they don't want to risk it in a new environment with that 6 months long probation period.

Ohhh ya mr.president..... first you open the doors for such students, collect their money ( 28 billion ) which is more than canadas military budget and now you say we dont need them...This is hypocrisy.... The stringent policies had to be in place right from inception. U cant say now that you were not aware of the wrong practises going on .....college in strip malls, no classes being conducted, all kinds of scams have happened and no one cared. \n\nAnd students are also to be blamed too....without checking anything they blindly just followed a dream never to be coming true. \n\nInstead of protesting to stay...,ask government to give your money and you will be happy to go back. From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. I am stuck here now, with little financial resource to fight for my child's life. It is unfortunate that no one will read my comment because it is an inscrutable wall of text or too frightening. Unless someone reads it, no help will come for my daughter. (Because she is a dual citizen, the local Polish Ambassador will not step in - another drawback for having a Canadian passport). This is all politcally driven. There are actually very few jobs available. There are hundred of applications at very job ad posted by all the companies I know. I keep asking HR people, where are all these advertised jobs in channels like this? Can DW actually make a study on this? I literally know also many German students who struggle on getting their first jobs, taking up to 1 year.. DW please explain this huge discrepancy

My question is, Why are they displaced and forced to be refugees in the first place? Which countries are involved in their home country's destruction? And those saying why GULF nations are not taking them in, well they are not engaged in any war and most of the Gulf nations have locals in the minority now if you check the statistics. When immigration continues at unsustainable levels you have to ask who is benefitting from this. I got laid off 5 weeks ago ( no renewal of contract).. after 7 years working for that NFP.. I applied for snap and unemployment… while applying for jobs( social worker field)… first, they ask for so many documents… including my bank account….( again I was laid off .. not fired nor left my job, nor finding reasons not to work all those years ), department of labor had a mandated zoom meeting to discuss what I needed to do 4 weeks after I was laid off( like i don’t know)… I ve been working for years and paying taxes… a lot of them in NYC, I was also told that I have to show what I am doing to search for work and eventually should take a job( even if the salary is low..ridiculous)… I was also informed that I may get a call from investigator from DOL..they may call individuals receiving unemployment benefits($441 a week after taxes?)… to verified that I was searching and applying for jobs( even though I enter my activities related to work weekly on their website…..)….. meanwhile… people with 0 legal documentation are entering the US and living here, free snap, free housing, free health insurance!!!! Lala land!!!! Can’t wait for this non sense to stop!!! Every corner of NY , you see families begging for money. Food…I feel bad as a human being, but refuse to help or I ll be joining them too… welfare system needs to change too! The politics NEED to change!!!All the best !

Where did they find all the money to finance the illegals? Ask yourself if tgey have been sitting on that much money they coukd have solved homelessness, people would be able to eat, and have a olace to live. We should have been a priority.
