If I want to work in the USA, I have to apply for a visa and work permit, present my documents, qualifications and credentials, plus criminal record and health check, show that I have adequate medical insurance and enough money to fund my stay. If granted permission to come, I then have to present myself at an official port of entry.\n\nALTERNATIVELY, I can fly to Colombia, pay gangsters to guide me through the Central American jungle, sneaking clandestinely through several countries along the way, and pay the local cartel to smuggle me illegally across the southern US border. Then I get free transport to a US destination of my choice, free housing, free clothes and personal items, free healthcare and legal advice, and a work permit without all that pesky paperwork.

As a Canadian PR holder, the immigration system is broken. The fact that people who can't speak English, with criminal backgrounds and unqualified individuals can come in and stay while I had to wait 2 years for background checks and a 8.5 IELTS score, is insane. It shows that qualified workers aren't wanted but rather just get as many people from only one single country in the name of multiculturalism. When we immigrated to Canada we had to pass english exams, health checks and paid a lot of money. We came here and are grateful to be here. We did not come here to demand that our culture and religion be respected. We gave this up. Most no hoppers come in as students with only 1 thing in mind, to stay in the country not to study. The government should have done proper checks, these people are jumping the cue of immigration, nothing is too late , the Government should shove them back if they are known to skip classes and work instead. There are a lot of fraud agencies in Punjab and Delhi and they let these guys come in with fake IELTS scores. Why is Canada not checking them at the point of entry? I know someone who has got a visit visa and is coming to Canada in September with 100% intention to apply for asylum. I know that he is bringing with him fake documents that will show he has a genuine case. But I know for sure that everything is fake. I have reported it to boarder security but I don’t trust that if they will check and even if they care. Because we all know these visit visa were issued to bring people and claim asylum. That’s like government is bring on purpose cheap labor and want to put the burden on existing tax payer.
