It isn't homelessness in Canada....it is illegal immigrants who don't belong in Canada in the first place and need to go home to their own place wherever they came from expecting handouts for nothing and forcing real canadians on the streets as well, and drug addicts who need to deal with their own problems and stop wasting tax dollars on their pathetic lives which they made by using drugs in the first place. It is high time this madcap country stops illegal immigrants, drug addicts and arm dealers.

The problem never was immigration. The problem was ILLEGAL immigration, and how the liberal policies have increased ILLEGAL immigration with hard criminals including violent gangs, child-traffickers, drug-traffickers, robbers, thieves, and rapists. Mass deportation only applies to ILLEGAL immigrants AND immigrants who committed hard crimes.

There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

As an American I sympathize with you bc we know full well what happened here. We've spent billions and cannot sustain the illegal immigrants. Be ready for the possibility of criminals and drugs and trafficking.

I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? Time for us to do the same. UK has been doing deportation. Other European countries have been doing it. It's time to stop the issues surrounding national security and defence. I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. We know for a fact that a lot of immigrants, legal and illegal, either cram themselves 5 into a single room or end up homeless. Many small towns of 10,000 pop or less who never saw homeless people are seeing tents popping up, rising drug use, theft, etc.

I grew up in Brampton since the early 80s and witnessed the massive cultural/demographic shift over a period of 20 years. Now, it has become the place to go for a lot of the newcomers, and that was what it was. However, with the recent illegal immigration there has been an unprecedented spike in crime. Firearms, drugs, pr@stitution, car theft, and home break-ins have all gone through the roof. I know that it still hasn't reached Toronto status yet, but we are very close considering the size of the population. We need to deal with home first before we take on the worlds problems.

I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore.
