If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. The only problem is when these homes are converted to rooming units. Otherwise it is perfectly legal for extended families to live under one roof as first immigrants to gain foothold and then move on!! The fore fathers of the current white population did this as well !! Also, these immigrants and students are NOT housed in hotels and such, it is the refugees from Syria, Palestine and Ukraine (and other war torn countries) that Liberals brought in that are housed in hotels. So this is misinformation. What I do notice is that these losers are jealous of the hard work that the indian immigrants are capable of doing and feel intimidated. If this is any comfort, many indians are actually choosing to go back to India as opportunities are better and more and they have seen what Canada has to offer. There needs to be responsible reporting happening not just interview any guy on the streets who has 0 knowledge of the current political scenario.

As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.

Personally as an Indian, I really feel bad about it. Unfortunately, we DO go to other countries for a chance at better life and dignity, but a lot us Indians then start to feel privileged and entitled and do not adapt to the culture of the country they are in, and force their own cultures and individual beliefs. This sucks, especially as a young guy who dreams of living in other countries, while respecting their cultures and planning to adapt to them. Even in India too, we don't really pay much taxes since we know its gonna go into corruption anyway, so the Immigrant residents in Brampton may have carried forward that practice as their habit. This gets a lot of us good folks, generalized for no reason too, Although, I do understand the anti-Indian sentiments foreigners have towards us, but again.. not every Indian are like that, since it has also been pointed out by few others. Although, I AM genuinely sorry for the problems Canadians might be facing in Brampton right now

No Indians or for that matter any other community enter Canada and choose to live their lives here if the Governments doesn't allow that. Please also acknowledge the fact that so many well educated Indians are coming here which is a huge brain drain and capital loss for India itself , just because it is not able to provide better job opportunities there. The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. Good journalism, it's good to get out and hear what people are thinking. In viewing, it occurs to me that it's hard for white people, and maybe Christians, to understand some Asians. I'm an American, so-called white American, and love Sanatana Dharm, or what most people call Hinduism - that term should soon be forgotten. Anyway, this video shows a variety of people called Indians but whom are vastly different in belief. So much so, they maybe fighting in India but abroad, they stick together. Islam and most Indian philosophies (they are not religions as there is no overarching institution or organization) feed the "devotees" several times a day...it is a part of the culture, shared meals with those who share faith. The Indians, they basically want a better life and will send money home. Muslims will buy land through a trust and then buy more and more. I don't know about Canada, but there are no such cultures in America - well, the Church has bought a lot of land but does nothing to serve people. The Mormons have land and a strong daily schedule, some community churches have very strong programs, but as a whole, The Church has done nothing to make itself appealing and therefore, there's no opposite or equal force. What to do? and as far as assimilating, yes, they should, but to what? Should they start playing hockey, drinking beer, etc. The second gen might. The West has lost it's way and religion isn't the solution but a culture not so decadent would be a good start.

Next time try not to talk to only homeless Canadians 8:34 the guy says they don't work and also say they work for Indian on cash so that guy himself can't decide do they work or not. You should try talking to others who are born canadians as everyone knows people can't live without work and indians work too making the community to grow and expand and more rich, so better go in everyone's shoes before saying anything about them.

I have such mixed feelings watching this video and the following is just my opinion. I am an immigrant from India too and I love my country's values and culture but I also realize its drawbacks. When I came here, my immediate instinct was not to change everything to how it was back home...It was rather to learn the culture and values of Canada too (which I know is in and itself a mixture of multiple cultures). If you are reading this my fellow Indians, It is truly my most humble request to remember that you don't have have to quit your culture, but that does not mean that you make no effort or take part in involving yourself in other cultures or mock them. You have the chance to better a country that has offered YOU a better life. Please don't ruin things for other immigrants or Canadians. We are resilient, and we can choose the best of both worlds.

For all 10 or 20 million people in Canada there are 1500 million in India. Apparently we are doing well. We will better of without this Canadian asylum scam (drugs/ human trafficking business) and student visa scam. The so called Indian student (black T shirt , beared) in Brampton did not appeared to be well educated. (English) So in effect he was paying ransom of 8K masqueraded as education fees to have right to work in Brampton .

I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. Finally happy to see someone raising voice.

When government leaders focus on population and economic growth that's usually is a sign that they aren't balancing the budget correctly. They're trying to increase tax revenue without increasing taxes. I'd look closer at government corruption. Overpopulation destroys the environment. Canada is one of the few places on earth that still has an environment. Russia and Australia are the other ones. Russia's strategy is to look sort of like an ogre and it's too cold. I read the comments first before watching the video, and the negativity was strong. So I watched the video expecting to hear the Indians sounding terrible and entitled, and instead it's obvious they're just like every other group of immigrants who ever came before them, including those from Europe. The guy at 9:35 got lots of negative comments, but it's clear that he's the typical inspirational immigrant story, coming here, studying and working hard, and eventually achieving his degree, which brings him a better life in a prosperous country, the exact same thing Europeans came to Ellis Island for 100 years ago. And they also created Irish, Italian, Greek, etc. enclaves withing major cities. Also they say Brampton only had 18,000 people 50 years ago, and are upset that now it has 750,000, and all the growth has been from Indians. So then what's the problem? They didn't even displace anyone, they just moved to an area that was previously a small town on the outskirts of Toronto, and is now a major suburb. That growth of suburbs has happened over the last 50 years in every city in North America, from both domestic and immigrant people choosing to settle there. Did you expect a town that close to Toronto to experience zero growth over 50 years?!! While every other suburban area on the continent grows? If so, then you clearly aren't the brightest bulb.

See the issue with multi culturalism is that “like people” tend to stick with “like people”. It’s human nature… for instance, when I go to school or the break room- I sit with my friends. I interact with, socialize outside of the current setting - because that’s where we are comfortable. Everyone in life chooses to be comfortable, as it’s better. When we mass immigrate (especially from one country) we can’t be surprised that this happens. Of course Indian people do business, socialize, real estate, etc… with other Indian people. It’s what they are comfortable with. I think mass immigration is an awful idea and a culture that doesn’t encourage assimilation and chooses multi culturalism will find that it’ll no longer be multicultural- as the new dominate culture in Canada will be Punjabi.

This is an interesting issue. I have lived in both Brampton and Surrey, and there is some real issues with immigration. But the homeless you showed made me think about the other side of the coin, these Indian immigrants would probably do a better job feeding our own homeless if they were aware they were welcome. Things like garbage and stuff, indians have less civil duty because their own cultural issues. But they have a sense of duty of family and community. So we need to hold our goverment responsible for not handling emmigration properly, but also if have compassion and bring these people into our communities as well, then you will feel a new sense of duty from them. Its a tough issue on both sides that our goverments are forcing us the people to deal with

As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.

It saddens me for what this country has become. When I first came here, I saw the potential of what I could do in this country but that is not the case anymore. I, amongst many immigrants from India, try every bit possible to assimilate in the society and believe me we have, almost at par with Canadian values. However, post-covid, everyone seems to judge every east Indian on the same grounds as outlined by the speakers in this video. Most of them started taking refuge in UK and Canada. Your Govt tried to fish in troubled waters in India. Back to present, these guys got rich due to better job opportunities. This attracted their relatives to shift as well. This started to take a form of movement in Punjab, India to go settle in Canada. Canadian govt supported this, I don't why they wanted that. You dont go aboard studying for a better life in that country. U study abroad to either bring back new knowledge to your country or to full fill a requirements for a job back home.. The most common one is the opportunity to have a degree from a well known school for family braging rights and take over family bussiness. Which bring us back to, studying aboard is strictly for wealthy families no matter where u live . Imagine a candian going to london or europe we would pay just as much plus conversion rate. So for indians like him self, studying aboard paying 8 k cad per course shojdl be impossible. Only a super wealthy family can afford that in india or canada .

I walked into a house that I wanted to lease. It was of course rented by Indians and some were still living in there. The owner wanted almost $4k per month. The moment I stepped foot inside the house, the stench was so powerful that it nearly made me vomit. I initially thought it was just the entrance, it got progressively worse the further in I went. Bathrooms were unclean, there were stains all over the walls, rotten food around, dirty shoes and clothes thrown all around, damage to just about every corner inside of the house ... I walked out. The next day, I went to see another house on the other side of the city, thinking it's more on the outskirts and it looked slightly better on the outside, same exact situation and I was ironically asked if I was "Indian because I can get a discount on the rent", I walked out. The blatant racism and disrespect was nauseating. I was raised that it's not permissible to exit out of your house dirty let alone not cleaning up after yourself. I was raised to be fluent in both official languages. I'm not seeing any of these norms happening anymore... if anything, it's the complete opposite.

The problem is you are busy pointing other instead focusing on real issue these indian providing better quality skills at low wages and that's what helping you earn white's wanna earn more work less and accusing them that they only work for money 😂
