I feel his sinceriy for the people, not just for Canadians. Im from Philippines but I hope things will turn for good for both neighboring country.

I almost completely support everything he says. My problem comes with his comments on Fentanyl. Please, this medication is a game changer for so many suffering daily in agony with chronic pain or deadly conditions. For those who need it medically, it is strictly controlled and monitored. Fentanyl is “eaten” by pain, so for those who need it there is no high, just relief.\nThose on it legally already have to deal with a great amount of prejudice, being treated as addicts and dealers when they are just trying to find a way to survive immense pain everyday. This medication allows them to get out of bed, to attend school or work, to have a life. It gives them hope and relief. \nThe opioid crisis is real, but those on a prescription are not the cause. Canada already has some of the strictest protocols in the world for this medication, leaving many people in agony as they loose access to it. \nDon’t take away something that is saving them. The drug is not wrong, those selling it illegally are in the wrong.

I hope all « bizarre » Americans people who have voted for Trump listen and open there ayes !

Trudeau should be the last person to talk about making sense. Emboldened Khalistanis, encouraged illegal immigration, took the country down the tube. Radicals burning Canadian flag in the heart of Canada in pro- Palestine rallies. What step has he taken about it? At least Trump is “America first” president. Trudeau on the other hand is “everthing at expense of Canada”! Hopefully with right wing in administration in Canada, Trump will deescalate this. As a German citizen: our US friends make me so sad and scared at the same time. After our people were defeated, we learned (at least for many of us) where nationalism and hatred can lead and how important international cooperation is. Well, he gave a good speech to his Canadian about support from his country. I hope you can meet with his people needs. Unlike our president, the best he could say was we’re going feel some pain. What he really meant to say was the poor and the middle class are going to suffer..

American here. I am on a limited income (Social Security) but I 100% support Canada & what Canada needs to do to counteract the actions of our incompetent, insane 'President'. Go Canada! As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. People are just searching for a better life that's all, the most basic thing humans have in common, change the red tape a make things more structured and rid your country of the bad apples and welcome those willing to work, build and serve God and the country. As an American, I am very sad to see our neighbors and friends pull away from us. All of these decades of working together to achieve the greater good for the world; destroyed by one man's selfishness, greed, and delusion. Trudeau is the epitome of western society's moral decay, under his leadership Canada has become a radical third world country, from gay marriage to state sponsored marihuana, to state sponsored gambling that floods the country. As a result, Canada today is the bedrock and safe haven for criminals, while ordinary Canadian people's lives continually decline, especially the working class who are struggling yet still cannot make ends meet. A lot of Canadians either have moved to the US, or they would like for Canada to be part of the US so that they have some hope. I am sorry for the Canadian people but have no sympathy for Trudeau.

To all Canadian's, I did not vote for him and tried to convince others of how bad his was, but here we are. I love Canada. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. As a Mexican man, I must say this is the kind of speech I like to hear from a leader. Such a great selection of words, diplomatic and strong at the same time.\n From this side of the continent, the response of Mrs. president Sheinbaum was a little more cautious, at times lukewarm. She said countermeasures will be taken, but they will be announced next Sunday at the Zócalo, the central plaza here in Mexico City, which she asked people to crowd. \n We're definitely living hard times. The only thing I hope is this political hatred does not reflect on the common people when treating their foreign fellows. We are allies, not enemies.

His only mistake was not to talk to his Canadian in the same way about the external diplomatic journey. I'm fine with Canada and the UK going bankrupt if they bring it on themselves. I hope Europe can shake off the EU parasites controlling it before they are destroyed. I hope Russia takes back Russian speaking territories and provide the people with aged pensions, social programs and infrastructure and for the western parts to be absorbed into its neighbors where they can also receive assistance to get back on their feet. Finally, we should stop engineering color revolutions and capturing vassals to be used as a proxy in planned conflicts and placing military bases on borders where they are not welcome.

I haven't enjoyed much of Trudeau's office, but this he owns. He really laid it down here. It made me proud to be Canadian. He absolutely, kicked ass and I hope he just hammers Trump. Trudeau's level of forthrightness and honesty in this situation is (I think) exactly why people voted for him. It makes me feel like he's going to kick Trump's ass.

I never ever was on the Trump train. I am an American Citizen and I think he is deranged. I hope those that voted for him are starting to pick up on his madness after these past few weeks. How he ever got elected the first time was absolutely sickening. But to do it again? After an insurrection? The U.S. deserves whatever blow back we get.
